This is a good one night stop. Campgrounds need some work. No fault to KOA but the lake is drying up and no pool or any type of entertainment. Website needs to be updated and truthful.

Nice area and staff, but unexpectedly, the WiFi was awful. Sadly, since we have Verizon and Verizon is weak there, we needed to use the WiFi. Apparently 0.4Mbps is sufficient for KOA standards.

My stay was very nice. The only thing that would make it better is for the lake to be open to fish.

Bath house and restrooms were very clean. Got into town early and Randy did not hesitate to get me checked in. I was in a tent site and Randy gave updates on potential weather conditions for the night. Looking forward to our next stay at Starkville KOA.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Asked several times if we needed anything. Campground was neat and quiet. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Plenty of hot water!

Beautiful campground. Lots of trees. We stayed in a pull through site with a concrete pad and it was perfect! This was our 4th time staying here on our way home from Florida. Would definitely recommend. Not a lot to do but great for a day or two

Didn't live up to the standards of a KOA, but the only place to stay in Starkville. Really no lake anymore and was not crazy about "neighbors" flying a "gay pride-Be Kind" flag. I'm sure if I had flown a confederate flag, I would have been asked to take it down.

Great communication with the manager when making reservation for after hours check in. Site was easy to find and all the amenities were good.

While the park is reasonably well kept, it is not what is advertised. It is located on a lake that is probably 6-8 feet below normal pool because of deficiencies with the dam that are awaiting repairs. The "water park" is no longer usable because of lake levels, nor are boat launching ramps and docks. The folks that runs the park were nice enough, but given its location and lack of amenities tha

We stayed in a deluxe cabin at this KOA. It was very nice! Full kitchen and shower. I loved the screened in porch. It had a nice view over a lake. Only downfalls to the cabin were that the wifi did not reach to our cabin and the air didn’t get too cool. Highly recommend these cabins and will definitely go back some day!

Staff is very attentive to you, friendly and accommodating. Camp sites are nice and will accommodate large rigs. Electric and water are good.

Met by camp host Randy off the clock. He was very friendly, courteous, and offered a free upgrade on our site ( patio table and chairs). Also dropped off some complimentary firewood. Great K-9 area for dog to run. Only negative would be the distance between our site and bathroom/showers. Only here for one night not that big of a deal.

Excellent site to stay, quiet, great water views. We had a break down and the host, Randy was very quick to come to our aid recommending a mobile repair company who got us on the road first thing the next morning. Definitely a great spot as we were traveling through the area to our next destination.

Stayed 3 nights at the back of the property in a tent except the last night had to sleep in the suv since it was raining but loved the privacy of the site where I was located. I would definitely stay here again . Very peaceful and quiet at night time. The manager was great even bringing some firewood for the campfire. The showers and restrooms were very clean - a plus at any camp.

Nice KOA, quiet, clean bathrooms. We were on the road heading south from michigan and talked with Randy, told him not sure we would make it, but we did. Left us a reservation with information with site #. Talked with him in morning. Very friendly! If in the area again, would book again

The only downside is the lake has been dry over two years now. But that is not fault of the KOA! We saw eagles and many other birds around the campground and enjoyed watching the squirrels. The management is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. They provide free firewood and have fire rings at each site. The area is quiet and relaxing. It’s only a short drive to Starkville.

Randy and staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful! Free firewood was a nice touch. Once the lake is repaired and the sites are widened, then this will be a 5 star campground! 100%

Needs lots if curb appeal. Very poor drainage. Yes they had rain, but alot of standing water in sites. They need to give this KOA a facelift.

One of the biggest perks of this park is the lake it borders. The lake is broken and has been for at least two years rendering it useless to campers who come for the supposed water park features. I don't know how much say the campground has over the necessary repairs of the nearly dried up lake but I'd like to think those in charge would want to better preserve a natural resource such a as this.

We were just there for one night. I like that KOAs allow for overnight stays when we’re working our way home. The gal at check in was so polite and helpful. Our site was perfect, too.

Been here 4 times now. Love the setting among the trees! Update 6th stay: Nice cozy clean cabins & beautiful grounds & roses! Quiet location in rural Mississippi.
