Campground Reviews

Nice place, no complaints, the site needs a bit of fix up but we would go back.

Worst camping experience ever. It’s literally right next to one of the busiest freeways. 24/7 traffic and constant loud noise. When emailing asking for a refund for nights I’m not going to use because of this no response.

Pleasant stay, the sites are well taken care of and nice… place was nice and the staff was friendly!

We very much enjoyed our visit to the area.

Great customer service. Space was very close to other campers on both sides. Convenient but not really comfortable.

This was my first time staying at a KOA. We recently bought our travel trailer and decided to make a last minute trip down to Southern Utah. I found this campground to be very affordable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the campground was clean, quiet, and well stocked. I will definitely be a returning customer to this location.

Easy late check in, clean kampground

Easy late check in. The park was nice and clean for walks and low noise from other campers was nice. I didn’t use it but the pool are seemed nice. Our picnic table was falling apart and couldn’t use it and the bathroom was pretty disgusting. Only a few things to change to make it much better. Thank you.

Was fantastic. Only downside is how you have to pay to do laundry. Costs $10 for a card then you have to add another $10 of funds on card to use for laundry. Even for one load.

Very nice park but the sites are a bit tight for a fifth wheel. We did not use the pool, bathrooms or laundry. Beautiful views and you can hike at the Red Cliffs across the street from the KOA. Easy access to St. George, Hurricane, and a must see: Zion and Kolton Canyons.

Bathrooms were never cleaned and were out of toilet paper. We were unable to utilize the clubhouse games/mini golf when we returned because the office was closed thus could not checkout golf clubs/balls, table tennis paddles, or billiards equipment.
Apr 02, 2026
Wifi was very weak. TV reception was poor to none.

As always, staff was friendly. Park is clean and well kept. The heated pool was great for the grandkids.

This is a pretty good KOA. We first stayed here in March of 2022 or 2023. It was better then. The Campground seems like it is lacking in care and maintenance. Numerous weeds and unsightly wild grasses are ruining the well groomed slRV sites The sites are in real need of leveling . Other than those minor issues, this is a fairly well laid out park and was busy this trip

Stayed 5 nights to explore Zion and the surrounding area. Leveling our 34 ft motorhome was difficult in the original site assigned-we requested a change, was level in 5 minutes in second site. Many of the sites all have some adjusting to do. Park is busy with alot of overnight campers but very quiet. Did not use pool or other facilities. Great location for visiting Zion

The pool was not working. Our backin site was very steep gravel to get up to the flat area. In order to be flat for the pickup, too, we were far away from the utilities. Had to add a pigtail to the power cord, had to use 2 water hoses to reach, and sewer just barely reached. Door for the trailer was about 2 feet from the fire ring. Bathroom--good showers, but dirty with piles of hair.

Staff very friendly & efficient. Also, a pleasant atmosphere from all campers!

This is a nice park however our sites were quite small and unlevel and the laundry area is pretty far away down a semi steep hill when you’re carrying heavy laundry.

Wonderful place. Fairly close to St. George and historic sites. Full every night! Recreational center under construction. Looks like it will be great! Tiled showers, could use tile in the dressing part of the shower space. Bathrooms and showers need regular cleaning. Quiet at night. Nice spot.

We were placed in a terrible spot . If the place was full i would get it . Too tired to go through griping and changing spots and should not have to. Our rig did not fit well and were overrun by the local longterm kids. Actually hid in our rv . Not the kids fault they are just kids.

The men’s toilet seats were beat up. Pretty good place though. Some activities to do.
Mar 30, 2026
The sites should be more level but the campground was great.

Great !!!!

they are very good to their campers.

Half the dryers were not working. Pool was closed waiting on a part for 4 of our 5 days. Neighbor had to park his truck in our site 1 ft away from our fire pit. (no he didn't ask first). Really didn't like having to pay 10$ just for the card to do laundry, coins are better in my opinion. Shuffle board area could use a fresh coat of paint. It reflects poorly on upkeep even if no one uses it.

We arrived late at night. A map showing where our site was was left for us. Easy to find and plenty of room to park. In the am we were treated to a gorgeous view of a red rock formation. We would stay again.
Mar 27, 2026
We aren’t usually KOA campers. Our first night we didn’t get in until late. The late arrivals check in was set up in such a way that even with no attendant to assist us, we had no issues with finding our assigned spot and getting set up. That was a very welcome surprise.
Mar 27, 2026
The campground was half empty and yet we were crowded right next door to our neighbors. The sight was unlevel and quite short. The bathroom and campground were clean. The noise from the interstate made sleeping am impossibility. Way overpriced in comparison to much nicer campgrounds. I know this is a harsh review, but I can state without a doubt we will not be staying with you again.

Sites are nice size, mostly level. Picnic tables are on cement pads which is nice, but they are very weathered to the point of being unusable due to splinters. Great office staff, very helpful with recommendations on local OHV trails. Disappointed that the pool was closed due to heat pump failure, especially since it was mid 90’s the whole week we stayed. Traffic noise from I-15 is tolerable.
Mar 26, 2026
The site itself was level, but it was a steep incline where my truck was. It made it a little challenging to unhook and reconnect the camper. The pool was out of service but the park was clean.

Stayed here same time last year. Great experience. Called 11/10/25 to reserve #9 same spot as last year. Was told it was available, no problem. Arrived on 3/16 only to find out I was in #11 instead. No communication about being moved. Was able to get #9 for remainder of my stay.#11? Covered in goat heads, didn't realize till I was set up. Just glad my dog wasn't with me. Showers were filthy!

Friendly staff, beautiful view, Pool was not opened and it was very hot. Too many barking dogs. Need another dog park.
Mar 25, 2026
very friendly and helpful staff.
Mar 25, 2026
Site is clean and amenities are perfect. We will surely come back. Thanks
Mar 24, 2026
Pool NOT open! Asked, How long has it been closed? "About 1 month. We had a mechanic look at it, but it's not fixed." What's wrong with it? "I don't know". When will it be fixed? "I don't know". So, if you want a pool during your stay in the summer of 2026, ask specifically: "Is your pool OPEN?" Dumpster was overflowing, garbage bags on the ground. Nobody answers 879-2212, tried many days.
Mar 24, 2026
We stopped for one night, didn’t use facilities. Check in staff friendly. Our deluxe patio, full hook up site, against the hillside was poorly graded and not level. Pool closed for maintenance.
Mar 23, 2026
Nice place with good showers. The only issue is the sites are very small and everyone packed in closely together. Wish more spots had grills and fire rings.
Mar 23, 2026
Very nice, clean, quite, convenient…
Mar 23, 2026
We really enjoyed our stay because it had plenty of amenities to make our accommodations great. The staff are very friendly and flexible when we had some changes due. The lighting in our spots was great when we would return in the dark to find our campers. The cost of the lodging with all of the amenities was fantastic. I'd recommend KOA in St. George if anyone were to be looking in the future
Mar 23, 2026
It was good overall. Bathrooms weren’t very clean.
Mar 23, 2026
Make sure you pull in perfectly. We had about 16 inches between our slide and next door slide. The nite lights at each spot were kinda bright. Nice park and staff In Office were wonderful. Reasonable price for Area.
Mar 22, 2026
Sites very close to each other so awnings touched. Pool not working and very hot. Hot and dusty.
Mar 22, 2026
Our cabin bathroom smelled of rotten eggs sulfur. Lady at the front desk was nice about it and gave a small refund but couldn’t move us to another cabin or fix the problem unfortunately. KOA itself is not the nicer one we have stayed at location has no shade hot dusty and the pool was closed on a hot week of weather. Front desk was nice so stars for that only
Mar 22, 2026
KOA app and website state pool is heated and open year round…. Then you get there and they tell you it’s seasonal and opens in April. Big let down when it’s hot and you brought kids. Campsite was lacking. One time visit for us

My RV spot was unmowed with 18 inch high weeds around the picnic table and fire ring. The site was so small I couldn’t arrange the RV so I could open the awning without hitting a tree or being in the roadway. The swimming pool was broken and not operational

The amenities are nice for a KOA Journey. The place is clean and well laid out. The camp sites in the back are a bit sloped but fine. The staff was very nice. The views are amazing. This is southern Utah, it is hard to be somewhere that does not have a nice view down here.

Clean restrooms, Nice pool, and dog park. Checking after hours was very simple, a map with assigned site was labeled with guest name. KOA had a great view, sunrise and sunset. Location of the KOA to nearby attractions and restaurants was great, however too close to highway and all the traffic noise was hard to ignore while trying to sleep. Tent sites had a sand pad where the tent goes on top, however, tent sites were extremely close to each other. Campsites are better suited to other RVrs vs tent campers.

Great campground. Very nice staff in office. Pull thru spot was perfect. No issues leveling. Cannot beat the views. No traffic noise. Will definitely be back!!
