Campground Reviews

Nice campground. Good location however some heavy road noise. Main issue is the pool. It didn’t appear to be regularly cleaned as the colour from the leaves has dyed the water & our swimwear had turned green after being in the pool & it had to be thrown away.

This park is very nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The park is clean and has everything you need. I’ve stayed here several times and will keep coming back.

Its a great park, but some amenities like tv and internet need to be upgraded.

Beautiful location, newer utilities only partially make up for badly off level sites with very little shade in 100 degree heat. Pet owners beware, I may be wrong, I’m not a botanist, but it appears the only ground vegetation around is foxtail weed according to my Google search. I’m praying our dogs did not pick up a seed awn from one. Great location for seeing Zion, but overpriced as well.

Nice little campground, quiet, comfortable and the staff was really helpful. only negative i have to add is the road in front of the campground is pretty rough, so slow and steady getting to Interstate 15 (about 2 miles)

I was only there of one night. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. My site was level and I didn't have to unhook. Staff was friendly. I am a member of RPI and Coast to Coast and got a greatly reduced price.

The site was below the normal standard for KOA properties we have visited. Overall poor grounds maintenance and bathroom facilities.

Great campground in an absolutely gorgeous area. The campsites were close and gravel which is a little rough on our pets paws but they did have a grassy area for leashed pets which was great. The K9 area is small. The campsites roads were paved and easy to maneuver. Nice pool and facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect location for hiking & Quail lake just behind.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The location was close to everything we wanted to see. The campground was clean. We will return.

Really enjoyed my stay.

5 STARS FOR THE YOUNG LADIES IN THE OFFICE!!! We had reserved a two night stay. When we arrived I had been sick for a while and was going to try to find a clinic to go to. The young ladies in the office were amazing with recommendations and also allowed us to extend our stay so I had time to get better before we had to drive on! 3 stars for the "buddy sites" just because we are not fans.

Place was very tight and we were up the hill which caused our site to not be that level. The park was clean and nice

Very friendly helpful staff. Clean, well maintained. Didnt use facilities, however they looked very nice. Location worked well for us. Not so great: Our site and around ours were not level (tilted to the side). Many rigs had blocks to avoid a tire being off the ground.

We were just there one night, passing through. The check-in process was a breeze. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. And, the view of the sunset was very beautiful.

Great campground north of St George. It was nice and clean, and quiet. Our spot was on the end of the row which was nice. Clean pool. Outdated showers and bathrooms, could use a little repair work. Close to the reservoir and hiking trails. Nice staff.

This is a beautiful campground.

The ladies showers were disgustingly dirty with hair and the rubber mats look like they've never been cleaned. The base of the walls was falling apart where the water would splash. Our campsite had to share common space with another family, even though there were plenty of open sites throughout. It seems KOA puts Thousand Trails members in the worst sites possible to discourage returning.

Nice layout of camping spots. Laundry room is a bit of a hike. Bathroom and showers are great. Staff is awesome. Good location near Zion.

Loved our spot (137). Spacious and a great view. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. was sad to leave!

Traffic is extremely loud at night. Pack earplugs. Site was very small and didn't appear to be checked on before we arrived. We had to move a table over from an empty site. We were unable to open up our awning or put our floor mat down since site was right up next to a large tree and the driveway. Having a pool was great!

WE love this KOA.....we just love it.....the people are awesome...the KOA is a great location for our trips south, and more!!!!!

Nice park, we were there 3 nights. Lots of people there just a day or night. Close to the Red Cliffs Recreation Area and the Silver Reef Museum and Ghost Town. Both worth visiting! Would recommend.

Staff was great! Very helpful and went out of the way to make us feel welcome. The facility was another thing though. Poorly designed sites jammed together, hookups positioned that made it a challenge to connect. Outdated and worn are good descriptors for the campground. WiFi functioned poorly if that is important to you. Location is ok for access to mtn biking and Zion

We booked this very late but the staff was very accomodating and had our check in info waiting for us when we got in after hours. Super easy check in and very clean campground. Will definitely be back!

Great cabin. The laundry set up was terrible. Didn't feel comfortable setting up an app to do laundry.
May 03, 2026
You should be ashamed to call yourself a KOA. In our opinion, you do not meet KOA's standards. The process of doing laundry, is ridiculous. The cabins are not clean, yet you want us to leave a tip. The office/store is only open from 10:30am - 5 pm, so we have to adjust our time out vacationing when we need something from a staff member. Your business remains open because of the KOA name.

As with all KOA’s the staff were very friendly. The sites are very nice. They are roomy and the park is clean with nice views. I would absolutely recommend this KOA.

Great campground, clean facilities
May 02, 2026
Great views. Very clean park. Great water pressure. 1/2" gap under door, a/c remote batteries dead, stairs tilt, bracket on bed frame sticks out, refrigerator door needs reversed for easier access.

Friendly staff clean quite park gravel pull throughs but not very level. Located closer to Hurricane then Saint George. But still a great location. Take the hurricane exit and turn left at Quail Creek State Park go past the park to the end of the road turn right on to the old highway and you will see the KOA on your right this will save you 5 miles of bad road on the old highway!

We’ve stayed at St George /Hurricane KOA several times and it is one of my favorite. The check-in process was seamless, front desk help was friendly and welcoming. Sites are fairly level, WiFi works great, bathrooms and shower areas are clean and plenty of room to change, and the surrounding views of the campground are breathtaking.

Stayed 2 nights. Staff was friendly, but the facilities are sparse. Could not get the card system for the laundry to work. Wasted $20 trying. We were not the only ones. Wi-fi was spotty, at best. Campsites weren't even close to level. Dog park is small and in rough shape.

I had a safe place to park which is pretty much all I needed. I do think that $50 just to park a car with a dog in it (I didn’t even set up a tent) and have access to a bathroom was exorbitant, but Zion is so popular I guess they can charge more.

The area you have for rain runoff in the front of the park are too deep and we scraped the RV jacks trying to get over them. The sites for rvs were not very level on ours or others near us.

It was ok ,

The amenities are nice for a KOA Journey. The place is clean and well laid out. The camp sites in the back are a bit sloped but fine. The staff was very nice. The views are amazing. This is southern Utah, it is hard to be somewhere that does not have a nice view down here.

Clean restrooms, Nice pool, and dog park. Checking after hours was very simple, a map with assigned site was labeled with guest name. KOA had a great view, sunrise and sunset. Location of the KOA to nearby attractions and restaurants was great, however too close to highway and all the traffic noise was hard to ignore while trying to sleep. Tent sites had a sand pad where the tent goes on top, however, tent sites were extremely close to each other. Campsites are better suited to other RVrs vs tent campers.
