Campground Reviews

We made reservations in May asking for a pull through but were told we got a pull in and back out. I told the cashier we had a pull trailer and showed her a copy of our reservation. She gave us the same space and said to back in. Our site had dog feces under piles of gravel, backing in pushed our hooks ups so we could not pull back as far as we needed, and the camp was noisy with road noise.

Great hosts & facilities. Nice location to explore the area parks. The site was clean, but they're a bit tight & closed in.

Quiet campground, spectacular views, and town is less then 10 miles away

Stayed 4 nights looking for housing in St George area. An issue I had was the sticker weeds (I call them goat heads) in the camp site and the one next door. My dog continually got them in his feet and I needed a broom at the door to sweep out the weeds from the steps ofthe RV. Even though there was a weed issue I will return to this KOA as it is kept clean.

Location was great for park access and recreation, but the highway noise at night was really bad. The club house could use some love.

All was great but the restroom showers need to be top of the list for a good cleaning.

Very friendly! Kids loved the warm pool. Downsides: needs some TLC, toilets were clean but bathroom facilities' floors full of dirt, hair and bugs. Seems like local kids come to use the pool, we saw cars driving up unloading kids, it was very crowded. We arrived just after 5 pm and office was closed as was the store, there is no security, no staff on site overnight and no shop in walking distance.

Just okay. Most Journey parks seem to be a bit run down.

Checked in on A Monday. When I went to the restrooms on Thursday, cleaning had not been done with the shower floors still the same as I found them on Monday. Only two shower curtains were up. Internet was not good & even worse in the clubhouse. Did have a pool table, ping pong, TV. Location is excellent & the Red Cliffs are awesome

Nice campground. Bit too expensive for what you get. Wi-Fi was nonexistent-frustrating

Overall, campground very nice, but the space we were in, and from what I observed most spaces, was way too small.

We've stayed here multiple times and love the location, but this trip we were disappointed in the maintenance and cleanliness of the bathrooms. Several times the stalls were out of toilet paper and almost all the stalls had large spider webs and live spiders in several corners. The toilets could use some cleaning as well. Dark streaks running down the front, outside part of the toilet.

Our main complaint were the bathroom and shower facilities. They were never cleaned one time during the five days that we were there. I even asked the lady who went to clean the bathroom if she could spray for the spiders and remove the spider webs and she said that she would. But when I entered after she was done I noticed that nothing was clean and all the spider webs were still there.

It was very easy to get into and exit my camping site. I had a hard time trying wash and dry my clothes. I do not have a smart phone to down load an app to use to start the machines. The young lady at the front desk was not much help. You need better instructions for us older campers.

Sites too tight and uneven

Sad to say but I can't think of anything good to say about this KOA. First getting to the park from I-15 is difficult at best. Once in the park the roads are very narrow. The sites are very, very narrow and short. It is very difficult to put slides out and not touch the RV next to you. We had to reach under the slide of the RV next to us to hook up our electric. Amenities are in usable condition.

Third year your the best for ust

Bathrooms were very dirty. Spaces were way too tight. Our least favorite KOA we’ve ever stayed at. Terrible!

It's a nice park the problem was it's just very unlevel and no Wi-Fi at all you could barely even make a phone call. We need Wi-Fi but other than that it was nice

We did like our stay but there were a couple of things that we thought were not up to KOA standards, such as the bathrooms, the floor looked dirty, the stalls had cob-webs. toilet seats needed to be replaced. The exterior needed some work on the eves, the shuffleboard court needed some clean up and paint and the mini golf needed a lot of work. ,

The staff were very friendly and the campground well maintained but the lots are extremely small and close together, actually felt like sardines in a tin can … a good campground for an overnight stay but not more …

2 really important things are: cell service, and good WiFi. The campground Fails Miserably on both counts. And they "fudge" the truth by saying things like my cell service must be with the wrong provider. This is later followed by an admission that cell service is better at the top of the hill (read mountain) ... not anywhere near their property! Get some WiFi if cell service is bad!

Someone else was in our reserved spot when we arrived at 8:45pm so we had to pick a random open spot. Did not see an employee at all.

Deluxe cabins have everything you would need to cook meals.

Needs upgrading. Few amenities and pool heater was not working while we were there

One of the nicest KOAs I have stayed at. Staff was great. The views from the campsites were really nice. My only complaint is that the campsite was not very level. It looked like many of the spots were similar.

Uneventful, nice location.

Staff was friendly, sites were okay, but showers in the women’s bathroom were filthy. Three missing shower curtains, one had shower curtain on the floor with no rod. Corners of showers full of hair and grime. I wore my shoes into the shower and even then it was gross. It was certainly not the caliber I expect from a KOA.

It seems like the tent sites are an afterthought. It was really hard to stake our tent because the dirt hasn't been turned over or repacked in what seems like a long time. That also made the ground extremely hard to sleep on, even with our layers of padding. There was also no shade at the tentsites at all, while RVs received trees. Some kind of shade feels necessary. And wifi unreliability is bad.

Very nice campground, a little out of the way but accessible.

No TV. Cell phone not very good. Everything else was great. You have one of the cleanest KOA camps we have ever stayed at.

The camping spot and hookups were good but bathrooms and showers were not clean.

Nice campground near beautiful views of Red Cliffs area, Silver Reef Museum and ghost town, and Zion NP. Drove about 2 hours to Bryce Canyon. Our campsite was a little small for our travel trailer and vehicle, but overall an enjoyable stay.

When I am on my way home after a long trip your KOA lets me know my last night out will be a good one.

The putt putt golf course could use a little TLC, but the staff was very friendly. We didn’t have a real long, stay, but looking forward to going back.

Kind of expensive for a tent site only.
Oct 11, 2023
Initial spot assigned to us was too short and not level, but employee went out of her way to help me find a spot that did work.
Oct 11, 2023
Had a great time.
Oct 11, 2023
WiFi is terrible. Needs cleaning through out the areas. Lacks attention to details on cleaning. Toiletries are missing, doors don’t close and lock. Management is blind to these details to make it a better place.

When I booked this site I ask for a LONG PULL THROUGH so I would not have to unhook my trailer. I was ask what length my trailer was. I told this person my trailer was 43' and I would need at least a 60' site. This Pearson said that would not be a problem. WHEN I ARIVED I WAS GIVEN SITE #130. WHEN I GOT TO THIS SITE IT WAS NOT EVEN LONG ENOUGH TO FIT MY TRAILER, MUCH LESS WITH THE TRUCK HOOKED ON.

The front desk staff was quite unfriendly when we checked in. The pool was NOT heated (it was advertised as being heated). The club house was in need of some repairs/attention and the outdoor walls were covered in spider webs. On a good note- our cabin was clean and comfortable; however, the kitchen sink sponge smelled horribly and was unusable. This was not a typical KOA stay.

We went for our first time to this KOA it was amazing. Staff was very friendly. We thought next time get a spot at Quail Creek State Park but sites to much asphalt and would burn our Bella's feet. So this is where we would go and just get day passes. Close to Walmart and liquor store god knows us old folks do like to drink. They do need soda pop machines.

Positives: VIEWS ARE INCREDIBLE! Spot 145 is best spot. Back-in to mountain and double car parking with tons of elbow room! (We have a 17' camper.) Negatives: WORST INTERNET ON THE PLANET! Laundry system is managed by an app and/or a prepaid laundry card! AWFUL SYSTEM! Trying to download app with their Wi-Fi took 20 minutes. The prepaid card system in the laundry room was out of cards! Directions were HORRIBLE! FINALLY, heavy construction all around campground can be challenging to figure out! West 5300 was scary…One way only but NO flag men to keep knuckle heads from making it a two way!!! Don't use this road unless going to Quail Park!!!!!
