We’re trying something new: car camping. So this was our first time going to a KOA. We were very impressed with the friendly staff and how simple it was to have an easy overnight. Very clean and quiet. Beautiful campground.

Just a bit cramped. Website showed a rustic cabin which I thought I booked but they didn’t have it when we got there

Great place!!! Absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The only thing that sucks is the price. They charge us and extra $20 a night because we have three kids which made our bill over $100 for 14 hours.

An above average KOA. Staff was very attentive, grounds were kept clean. No real complaints except the occasional smell from over used sewer dumps. Unfortunately, we encounter that more and more from popular sites.

Beautiful, well maintained park, clean restrooms and showers. The staff is nice, accommodating and friendly! Access to a lovely nature trail is right there from the campground. Always our place to camp.

Great park very clean and well taken care of. The attendants were awesome. Trash was picked up at out site every day and the sites are very roomy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Rented a cabin for one night. It was very simple but quaint. Thought it was a tad pricey. Had AC, porch chairs, fire pit and picnic table. Bathrooms weren't too far away and were clean. Would have liked to have done the nature trail on the property but didn't have time, dog area was very much appreciated. Couldn't hear the highway in the cabin which is nice.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The nature path with the creek was amazing one of the prettiest KOA we stayed out in the last two years.

Called a couple days before my stay to see if you happened to have an extra space for the day before our arrival. I was happy that you did. We arrived on Sunday and everything was perfect. Beautiful park and very well kept. We will come again. Thank you!!

I was not only grateful for the tent site availability on 7/5. I was VERY grateful for swimming in the pool, showering well, and especially for the ice cream social & hospitality demonstrated by all the staff I met! Looking forward to returning and will recommend this KOA to fellow campers!

very nice and clean campground as well as laundry and shower facilities as well. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we were ever in this area again.

We really enjoyed our week here. The bathrooms and laundry area was clean every time. The pool looked great. We also really enjoyed the coffee truck! This is an ideal location, close to so many things. The staff was very helpful and always pleasant. We will absolutely return.

We just stayed one night on our way to visit family. Such a nice, clean campground that we booked it to stay again on the way back. Very convenient and easy to find from the interstate.

This KOA is very very nice, welcoming, and clean. I have been here once before and loved it. This time I brought my boyfriend and he is now excited about camping. We loved the ice cream social, the staff were very very nice. This KOA is probably the best campground I have ever stayed at.

Sites very close together. Felt like I was in my neighbors space every time I walked out of the door.

Very clean cabin. Courteous and helpful staff. Close to everything. Enjoyed the all you can eat ice cream. Would highly recommend this lovely campground!

Everyone is always so friendly and and every detail just right! The nature trail and the river make it extra special! This was our 4th year and we hope to have many more family reunions here.

Only 30 amp was available, but wasn’t a problem since it was over the 4th of July. Had a hard time leveling with air leveling but again we were on a 30 amp site so leveling a 43’ coach on a site made for smaller RV’s is harder. All in all we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the Spearfish area

It was only one night, however, I found the grounds and staff to be on point. The staff was super friendly and the grounds were very well kept.

Nice little campground in spearfish if you're spending a little while in town. The people there are quite fun.

Our stay here was fantastic! We were lucky to have a highly shaded spot tucked away in the back. Our neighbors kept to themselves, and so did we, which made it perfect for our introverted minds to truly relax and unwind. We stayed for 2 nights as a rest stop during our vacation, and it was the perfect break from long hours of driving. We prepared meals under the canopy of old-growth trees, which provided wonderful shade and a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was witnessing deer frolicking right in the field next to us—it was such a magical and unexpected moment. Every moment here was enjoyable, and we left feeling completely recharged, ready to hit the road again. The nights were quiet, allowing us to sleep soundly, and there was a sense of serenity that seemed to envelop the entire place. We would 100% stay here again and might even consider making this a vacation destination on its own, especially with how close it is to the canyon drive.
