We were in Site 50 with a patio, gas grill, fire pit with 2 chairs and a table with umbrella and 4 chairs. Great site for a motorhome towing. Great staff. Free laundry. Beautiful pond and pool. Lots of things to do at the KOA and locally. Close to New Orleans too.

The only negative that we experienced was the trash situation. One dumpster overflowing and trash had to be placed on the ground.

This little KOA was perfect for me. It was an easy on and off of I 10. Clean, neat, wide sites that I appreciated. Beautiful swimming pool and good trail around park. I will use this KOA again when I need a stay for a night or a trip into New Orleans.

Had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the pool. And we greatly appreciated the staff allowing us to check-in a couple hours early and check-out a few hours late. We were in town for my daughter’s soccer tournament, so the early check-in and late check-out was needed. The staff was nice, easy to work with, and super understanding.

Great new KOA! Large, clean, level sites in a quiet park. Easy in and out to New Orleans without being in the city. Staff was very helpful with site seeing in the area

The ladies that checked us in were very friendly and an efficient. The park, pond and camp sites were clean and well organized. One of our hosts even helped me through a minor medical emergency with her nursing experience. We had a very relaxing visit and recommend this new KOA very highly.

Had a great stay. Campground is fairly new so it’s continuing to improve. Cindy and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pool area and covered patio are always clean and nicely kept. We stayed for over a month in site 26. Plenty of room and quiet.

This KOA is VERY NICE! We stayed for a weekend in a RV spot, and it was very shaded, nicely cut, and all around clean. The amenities were very clean, the pool was nice, clear and well kept. The service was great! They had a playground for the kids, a grill for anyone to utilize, and a patio that can be rented out for parties or you can just enjoy sitting under it while staying in the shade.

Outstanding. Owners are onsite & take great pride in their park. FREE LAUNDRY. Never seen that in 21 years of rving. Great property. Lots of space on sites.

Our party of three campers were put in sites where there was a known water issue. We end up not having motor service for the majority of our stay one of the campers in our group moved and then had to share the water with a different camper because he had no pump system. No compensation was given. I’m sure eventually this campground will be updated to accommodate travelers. The staff was friend

The co-owner Cindy (Queenie) York was very nice and professional. The park is exceptional, very clean, and well organized. The people that work there are very courteous and friendly. Nice and quiet after a busy day in New Orleans. Looking forward to our next visit. Will be sharing about this park with Foley campers.

Had to have backflow preventer fixed upon arrival. Water pressure of 20lbs or less is UNACCEPTABLE!

Office staff (owner) was super friendly and very helpful with area attractions/restaurants. Park is extremely nice with very level sites. The bathroom and showers were in great shape. Would definitely recommend this KOA for overnight as well as extended stays. Pool and other facilities were in great condition. We’ll be back next time in the area!

Besides the mosquito truck coming in the middle of the night and waking us, everything at this campground was great. Super friendly staff, air conditioned bathrooms that were clean, friendly campers. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!

We arrived after hours and they made the check in very easy. Nice, clean park that was easy to pull in and out. The only amenities were used were the dog park. My dogs enjoyed the obstacles. We only needed a place to hook up while we slept while traveling but I could definitely see us stopping and staying as a destination trip. This was our first stay at a KOA but definitely won't be our last.

Nice camp. Very friendly staff. They went above and beyond. Pool and laundry a plus. Liked the private paw pen at our site. Wish more of those were available at KOA's camps. Quiet at night. Would definitely reserve again!

My boys and I had a great time. Very quiet and peaceful. The ownership and management we're all very nice and welcoming. The restrooms were clean, air conditioned, and surprisingly modern. I'm sure we'll go back.

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
