GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome to our campground! As a family-friendly park, we pride ourselves on providing safe, quiet, and spacious sites. For the safety and well-being of everyone, please follow our policies:

Check In: 1pm 

Check Out: 11am

Registration & Kamp Store Hours: 9am - 5pm

Quiet Hours: 9pm - 8am, no generators during this time.

Pet Policy: All pets must be on a leash (max 6ft length leash); no aggressive animals.

OPENED DECEMBER 2024

We are proud to be a brand new campground! Opening the campground gates in December 2024 is just the beginning - with future expansion projects like additional sites and educational nature trails, Slidell KOA promises to offer you the best of the best!

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT

Want to start your trip early or stay a little longer? Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request for a fee, subject to availability. Please call to inquire.

AFTER HOURS CHECK IN

If you arrive at our campground after our Kamp Store & Office closes, please use the Night Registration near the front door of the Office.

WILDLIFE AWARENESS

As you immerse yourself in nature, you may encounter a variety of wildlife, both large and small, in and around the campground. Be sure to follow park rules and remain vigilant:
  • Give wildlife distance and respect.
  • Keep dogs on a leash.
  • Properly store food and cooking supplies.

Your safety and the future of wildlife depends on you.

RESTROOMS

Please do not wash any cooking items or dishes in the bathroom sinks.

LAUNDRY

Laundry room is available for guests 24/7. Change can be obtained in the office during
posted business hours.

SPEED LIMIT

Our campground speed limit is 5 mph throughout the campground.

FIRES

For your safety, please follow our Fire Guidelines:
  • The height of the fire should not exceed 2 feet above the ring.
  • Please do not move the fire rings.

Please do not bring in outside firewood. For your convenience, we have wood for purchase on the front deck of the registration office.

FIREWORKS

We do not allow fireworks at the campground. Thank you for helping to keep our park safe and serene.

TRASH POLICY

Please bring your trash to the dumpster located near the RV check in.

VISITORS POLICY

All visitors are required to check in at the front office to obtain a vehicle pass, register, and exit the property by 10pm.

CLOTHESLINES

The hanging of clothes, towels, or other items from clotheslines or trees is not permitted throughout the campground.

RVs

All RVs must be manufactured for camping with a RVIA certification. NO HOME BUILDS  Thanks

CAR CAMPING

Car camping is not allowed at our campground.

WASHING AND REPAIRING

Guests may not wash or repair any vehicles or RV's in the campground. If you are experiencing any problems with your RV, please inquire at the front desk and we can help find a shop that may be able to assist you.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

Charging electric vehicles (EV's) at our pedestals is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Violators will be directed to immediately unplug their vehicle, and are subject to any damages and/or will be evicted without refund.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES

For the safety of all campers, we do not allow the riding of ATVs or Side By Sides  on our campground.

FLAGS & SYMBOLS

Our park offers a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment for all guests and staff.

Flags and signs that display the confederate flag, politicians, political candidates, or signs containing vulgarity or profanity are not allowed to be displayed at your site or throughout the campground. Any guest who is found in violation of this policy will be immediately asked to remove or cover the symbol. If they fail to do so, they will be asked to vacate the property.
