Just an overnight stay but it was amazing! Everyone was friendly, grounds were immaculate and bath house was very clean!

Spacious sites, new bathrooms, trees and shade! This new KOA is beautiful…wish the weather had been better to use the pool.

I believe this campground was once a mobile home park that was destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. We were also told that this property was recently purchased from the local government to build the KOA Campground. But anyway having said all that its a very nice campground with a work in progress but once finished it's going to be great place stay, it has a new very nice pool and new club house.

The staff members are all helpful and friendly. This campground is well planned out with sites that are generously sized. The pool, playground, clubhouse, restrooms, showers and the fishing lake are all nice. There is a good sized fenced in dog run. Easy access on and off the interstate. We will be back. Thank you

This is a beautiful place and one of our favorites! Easy on and off the freeway..but far enough away to be perfectly quiet. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff couldn't be any nicer.

Nicest RV park in the area! Very well laid out. Really incredible private bathrooms, and very pretty and clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very nice dog park and pool. Will definitely stay here any time we are in the area. One of our favorites!

Nice Campground! Managers Jim and Lynn were EXCELLENT!! Beautiful pool. Clean, new restrooms/bathhouse--so clean they smelled clean even!!!

This is a very nice RV park. Beautiful, quiet, great grounds. Very conveniently located within a couple of miles of shopping and a 30 mins to NOLA. The owners are very nice people who aim to please. Only reason I did NOT give this location a 5 star rating was because of the laundry room that had 2 washers, 2 dryers and they looked pretty beat up so we passed. But we would return.

The ladies in the office were extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The park is quiet and very clean and well kept. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Probably my worst stay ever. Sandy mud was impossible to avoid and we tracked it in every time we went out. Concrete pads are an absolute necessity at this campground. Also, our last night there we awoke to no water. Called the office and were told there were wild hogs in the area and they dug up and broke the pipes. WILD HOGS!!

Really nice place to stay! Glad they were working on getting their laundry room straightened out; there were only two washing machines and one working dryer...not fun when three people are trying to do their laundry! The sites are very roomy and it's a pretty area. We did get a site with a fenced area for our dog, but she didn't like it at all. There was also fresh poop in it...yuk.

Score is for the restrooms only. Restroom 1 was full of spiderwebs with a black widow spider in it. A spider ran across my feet & the shower mat was gross. Bathroom 2 looked like someone pooped on the floor then smeared it around & the toilet had blood in it. The worst was taking a shower at night & the lights went out. It was pitch black. Restroom 3's TP holder was so low you couldn't get TP out.

Really good campground with spacious lots. We came with a tent and really enjoyed ourselves. Clean and big bathrooms. Wonderful pool!

This is a very nice park. The staff was very friendly. The pool was excellent. It's convenient enough to other activities. My only problem with it is, the laundry facilities could be a little bit better.

The new KOA is very nice. The layout is perfect for all RV shapes and sizes. The owners, managers and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. You will not be disappointed when you choose this KOA.

Slidell KOA was an awesome site, very clean and the staff was super friendly. Have stayed at a lot of KOAs around the country and this one was top tier.

This is the best KOA campground although it is new very clean and well maintained. We had the patio and paw pen so worth the little bit of extra money Very nice owners and workers. They still have work to do there but still a beautiful place. We want to cone back again and see the place when completed

Originally booked 3 nights. However due to storms forecasted on our route home, we added 2 additional nights. Queenie in the office took care of adding the additional nights with no problem. Will definitely stay here again.

Have stayed twice. the second time a new employee had been hired and I found him very patronizing. He called me “kiddo” (I am a 45 year old woman) and when I asked to be moved to a different site so that I would not wake up my neighbors the next day I was told that this was how RVing was and was not allowed to move. 10 mins later a new arrival (right on my other side)asked to move and was allo

Jim and his wife , the General Managers are kind and accommodating beyond words! I arrived after hours, tired and needing a place to sleep. Jim saw my rig, opened back up the office and finessed a site for my wife and I when none were to be found. This kind of leadership and customer care should be rewarded with a raise - we loved them immediately and we highly recommend this KOA for it's beautiful (NEW) pool, the level clean sites, crisp clean bathrooms and well-cared for BBQ pits, grills, dog park, and play spaces. We've traveled nearly 100 KOAs from Washington state east and this one is made special by its management in particular. Thank you Jim for a great stay! -Kurtis & Hitomi Holmes

Nicest RV park in the area! Very well laid out. Really incredible private bathrooms, and very pretty and clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Very nice dog park and pool. The water is extremely soft, but I am not sure they can fix that. Seems like it's always that way when we are in this area. (and we have been here many times for the past 15 years and stayed at other rv parks) But if they could, would be great. Will definitely stay here any time we are in the area. Only wish you guys would have been here 15 years ago when we started coming down hehe. It is the nicest one in the area.
