Great Location and about an 30 minute drive to NOLA. The grounds were well kept, considering there was some bad weather. The office staff was so accommodating and friendly. We would stay again.

Overnight on the way to Gulf Shores Alabama. Since the park is new everything was perfect. Main thing is the owners and staff were very nice.

Park is relatively new. We talked with the owner who gave us the story of how the park came to be. You can tell it’s a labor of love. She gave us really good advice for our visit to New Orleans. When we came back on a Friday night there was. Gentleman singing and playing a guitar. We had a great time, and someday will stay again.

This was the nicest KOA we've ever stayed at- and we've stayed a quite a few! large sites, which we love. Saltwater pool. free laundry. Very clean and nice. Great playground if you have kids.Walking paths that were beautiful. close to many things- groceries, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

They are trying hard to create a very nice park. Bathroom clean, gravel site level. Obvious efforts to keep water out of low place, but following rain all the grass (at site & elsewhere) was saturated. Seriously muddy wet feet when I stepped off gravel pad.

Conveniently located to visit many areas within easy 30 minute drive. This is a relatively new KOA that is still adding in amenities and making improvements. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nice quiet place to stay.

Fairly new campground and it’s adorable!! Staff is doing a great job!! Loved the pool and flowing fountains. Very relaxing. Beautiful surroundings!!

It feels like we don't belong there i think it was the wrong way to treat people the the lady treat that owner is she just there for the money not for the fun for people if she smiles maybe she could be like

This was one of the nicest KOA’s that we have stayed at with friendly staff. I am not sure why it is only classified as a Journey, vs a Holiday. They have a large veranda, with rocking chairs, that wraps around their office/store, a nice pool, outdoor game area, large spaces and clean restrooms. No street noise or trains. It is only a 25 - 30 minute drive to New Orleans. Highly recommend.

We were here just overnight but it was a quick and easy check-in and easy to get in and out of our level sight. Nice wooded area, too.

Very nice and quiet. We had a back in site and the only things we had an issue with was that the site was a bit narrow and it was raining and the hook ups were under water. Scary hooking up the electric standing in 4” of water. Other than that the place was great

We were there for a one night stay and we were not able to enjoy any amenities or outdoor time due to the weather- heavy rain, thunderstorms, etc. But the park was certainly suitable for our one night stay.

We had a very peaceful stay here. Access was super easy and the location was perfect for our needs. Abundant walking availability for you and your dog too. Marilyn, who takes great pride in maintaining the restrooms, is a super sweet lady and invaluable employee. They’re lucky to have her!

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
