Likely the best KAO stay experience I’ve ever experienced. Jim & Lynn in the front office, PHENOMENAL customer service! They care, which is so refreshing. Noreen & Logan made us feel like family anytime we had a question. They went above and beyond, all of them. The 7 night stay was flawless - not a single thing we would change. We’re staying here - every time! Thank YOU!!!

We loved it ! The camp grounds are beautiful. We stayed at the one with the deck and dog paw pen it was so cute and cozy . The worker and owners were so sweet and the pool was amazing �ϸ and only 30 min drive to New Orleans .

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Campgrounds are very clean and accessible. I especially liked enjoyed the pool . The site also provides a large area to walk your pets and exercise. My plans are to return soon.

Great stay! We ended up extending our stay an extra two days. Owners very friendly and flexible. The paw pens were adorable. Everything is new. Definitely recommend. Hidden gem.

We paid extra to reserve a site with a propane BBQ grill, however when we got there the grill was not functioning. Rick did his best to accommodate. Functioning laundry, clean bathrooms, clean pool. Great KOA site over all. Noreen and Rick did their best to accommodate guests with what they got. 4 stars due to broken propane grill.

It was wonderful! Great customer service. The area was brand new and very well maintained. My only issue was the bathrooms had spiders in the ceiling so I was afraid to take showers or pee in there incase they jumped down Or something.

Wonderful staff couldn't do enough to make us welcome. This park is very clean and well cared for in a very beautiful, peaceful natural setting. The pool/deck area and office/shop are all brand new and well appointed.

Not only is the campground clean & inviting, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They even helped us secure an emergency vet to take our dog to for care. Looking forward to our next visit on June 29 & 30th our our return trip home to Florida!

We had a wonderful time at Slidell KOA! The campsite is nice-it’s clean and is being kept up well. Our kids loved the pool, playground, foosball, ping-pong, and cornhole. Our dogs loved the dog park. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We will absolutely be back again soon!

Nice, new park. Helpful staff. Quiet. Beautiful pool area. Clean and roomy bathrooms/showers. Lots of water in the roads after a storm. Right near Billy’s known for boudin and crackling. About 30 mi from New Orleans. Nice place.

New park in great condition. Was a great stay. Pool and bathrooms clean. Very hot while we were there, perhaps that's why there weren't alot of campers or it is just not known about which was just fine. Would stay there again when it's cooler.

This is a new KOA, they have done a great job with the sites, the bathrooms are huge (3 family bathrooms) and the pool is clean and fresh, even a pingpong table for fun! The store was nice with icecream for the kids!! The only thing I found confusing was the one way road for the trash, maybe a sign directing campers from the backside would help we were in site 12. Would definitely return!!

We spent a week here and it was perfect! While there is a bit of distance from downtown NOLA, the Causeway was so much fun to drive. Also, the location was perfect for getting a tour on the bayou (Cajun Encounters), just minutes away; plus superb local seafood (Kenney's)...and the town of Slidell provided most everything one might need. We had the best time in New Orleans!

Fantastic amenities. Great pool and clubhouse area. Paid extra for the patio area at our site and were very pleased with the setup.

We showed up last minute after a break down and we were warmly welcomed and given a great site! The pool was clean and warm. Lots of space and the park is so clean!

Great park!!Only reason we did not give it 10/10 is because they posted pool hours until 9 pm but at 8:10 we showed up to take a quick dip and it was locked up already and that was disappointing.

This is the nicest RV park we have stayed on our trip. There is lots of room between spaces. The park is beautifully maintained and has a lovely pool. We had a personal paw pen and deck with furniture and a grill. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA Slidell very much. it was very clean, super quiet, the amenities were awesome, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Plus it was close to NOLA so we could enjoy all that Jazz!

What a beautiful campground, so peaceful and relaxing, I was only there for one night, I was sad to leave. Rick, the host was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. I will definitely be back!

We didn’t spend a lot of time at the campground as we were there to attend a wedding but the campground is new and very clean. We never tried the WiFi. There is a nice pool. The staff was very pleasant.

Stay was nice, however, didn't care for the huge limestone rocks for the pad the camper sat on. Very hard to walk on. Everything very clean and orderly. Very well run place. Will return again!

Would like to personally Thank Noreen for going an extra mile and understanding, were couple both retired, I told her that I really wanted to see French Quarter,but our Truck won’t start and had to go to a mechanic, Noreen extended our stay and on our last day, give us a drive to the mechanic on her lunch so we can pick up our truck and see French Quarter!!Thank

Close enough to the highway to be convenient, far enough to be quiet. Nice little KOA with full hookups. Seems to be a work in progress but they're off to a good start.

We had a very pleasant stay. The Campground is brand new and being built over a former trailer park. Water pressure was good. The showers were air-conditioned and clean most of the time. Only one concern and that is the Wi-Fi, which was hit and miss. On a scale of 1 to 10 the would be a 3. Often there would be no wifi signal at all. My phone hotspot worked so much better.

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
