What a great KOA. Nice, nice staff. Clean park. The landscaping is newer so this is only going to get better with time. Already nice big trees. We'll definitely be back.

Was a very nice place to stay. We went in December so a tad chilly to swim but the pool looked so refreshing. Very clean, the employees were full of energy and very helpful. We will be back

I have never left a review before, but my stay at the Slidell KOA was so great that I just had to. The sites are spaced well apart and the staff is extremely helpful (shoutout to Gail). The location is great, far enough from town that there is no traffic noise, but close enough to go into town to enjoy all the great restaurants. I will definitely be coming back next year and plan to stay longer.

For the most part, our stay was alright. However, the campground was out of water over night and lasted until we left the next day mid day. No one from the campground came around to inform us of what was happening or when we might expect the water back on! Even a note taped to our door would have been better than no info at all!

Great sites nice and big. The owners fantastic. New Orleans about 30 minutes away. Unfortunately we could take just one day to tour and that was not enough time. Don’t pass this KOA for someplace else

There are not enough characters in this to adequately describe how wonderful this Camp site was. It’s new, less than a year old and very well run from the time you check in with Queenie and her husband until the time you leave you will feel welcome and treated exceptionally. This is a lovely new campground. Plenty of space. Some shaded sites, some wide open. Friendly and helpful staff. Will try to stay here again for longer than overnight.

My first time staying and I will be back. Sites are nice and not to close together. I have a 40 foot fifth wheel and in and out was very easy. The amenities are very nice as well, I highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed overnight while passing thru. Easy to get in. We arrived at dark. Pool looked really neat. Everything was clean and kept up. We stayed at the site that had the private fenced dog area with it. So nice after driving all day to let the dog loose! Other than the mosquitos �� in the Fall it was perfect!

We stayed five days and visited the NOLA and Gulfport areas. We really enjoyed the campground. The one negative point is that the laundry facility is inadequate. For a park that size there needs to be more machines available.

The park if about five miles off the highway so it is nice and quiet. It has an absolutely beautiful pool but the weather was too cool to give it a try. Lots of things for kids. This is a great RV Park.

Everything was perfect there the campground was more like a park big sites, trees, the restrooms are clean and the the people couldn’t be nicer! We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area!

Was a great little campsite! AFTERHOURS was easy to navigate and find our assigned spot! Uber had a challenge finding the campsite but we worked it out. They are clearly adding to the space and looking forward to seeing the improvements coming!

Enjoyed our stay. Plan to return. A nice quiet location for experiencing restful sleep. Wish the pool was heated. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to the Frisbee golf course being completed. Appreciate the friendly staff and the well maintained property, clean bathrooms, and the variety of available recreation activities. Thank you!

Wonderful KOA! Excellent facilities and really friendly staff. The woman in the office even offered to go get milk for us. We were only staying one night and didn't want to unhook. We had checked two gas stations on the way. The place is beautiful. We will be back!

As managers of a different KOA we truly appreciate the work and dedication that the staff at Slidell KOA has put into this park. It’s clean, the sites are large and level, the staff is very friendly and helpful, there is so much to do. Can’t wait to stop back by on our way back through.

We highly recommend this RV Park. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The park was clean and updated. Each site was spacious and quiet. We really enjoyed the free live music.We will definitely return. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Lovely oark with spacious and clean sites. Huge dog park with many obstacles for your furry friends. Bathrooms and showers were private, large and clean. The sites were level and the roads in the park were concrete and wide. Great location with a 30 to 40 minute to New Orleans.

We've stay at this facility numerous times and enjoy it very much. Our one issue is the continuing challenge created by the intermittent WIFI signal strength.

Everyone is friendly and helpful! It's east to drive around and set up. The pool is GORGEOUS, clean, and a beautiful area to relax!

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
