We had a wonderful stay at the Slidell KOA. The friendly staff was efficient at checking us in a very good resource on how to navigate New Orleans. The site was an easy pull through that accommodated our 43 foot Solitude. We will most definitely be back as it is easy access to RT 10

NICE AND CLEAN PLEASE TO STAY. OUR SITE HAD A WOODEN DECK, FENCE FOR YOUR PET, GAS GRILL, HAMMOCKS, TABLE AND CHAIRS W/ UMBRELLA, AND FIREPIT W/ CHAIRS. WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER!

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! The owners were so nice and helpful. They even worked on Christmas and went around to check on all their guest. We would definitely recommend our friends and family stay here if they ever have the opportunity.

We had a last minute detour when we were headed home and am VERY thankful we found this KOA to stay for 3 days. Super clean, very roomy sites with all the amenities we needed including free laundry which was an unexpected surprise! The staff and owners were so nice and always helpful. We would recommend this property again and again.

This is a beautiful campground. The facilities, the pool, the camp sites are great. The staff team are fantastic. You can tell they love what they do and the campers that visit. Easy access to the interstate too. I will definitely be back.

Very clean and well managed park. I had reservations but no packet was left on the late arrival board after hours. I made one phone call and was immediately helped by Rick who escorted me to my space and made sure I was good to go. You know after a full day of driving the last thing you want are complications at arrival. They made sure I was immediately helped. Thank you!

This is a really nice KOA. They have made concerted efforts to beautify the grounds and add activities that individuals and families would enjoy. Everything is clean and orderly. The bathrooms in the main building were immaculate. It is convenient to stores and restaurants if desired. It is also pretty convenient to New Orleans for a day (or night) trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Generous and spacious campsites and getting into the site was very easy and smooth. The staff was exceptional and we would recommend this campground 100%. Our son and family live in Slidell so we will definitely be back. Thank you KOA Slidell LA.

We really enjoyed this KOA. Very quiet and clean campground. If I had to search for something negative, I would suggest a larger or increase the number of dumpsters we found them very full the majority of times. The staff made us feel like we were part of a family while we stayed there.

We were there only overnight so there's not much to rate. The electricity was out at our site as they were working on it, but one of the crew came and explained things to us. Not a problem at all and when we came back from our visit to New Orleans the power was on. Overall a nice visit.

Very clean and quiet campground. We were here for 2 weeks and loved the easy access to New Orleans. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Great people, I felt very welcome throughout my stay, and they were available to answer any questions anytime I may have had one. The facilities were clean. This is a newer campground that everyone can enjoy.

I got a friendly welcome text the day before, and I texted back a question about my route to make sure it was RV safe, and they didn’t respond until days later after I left. ���� Staff is very helpful and friendly! It was amazing. You have the perfect location to access New Orleans. Your faclities are clean and safe with a nice choice of activities. The owners were so incredibly helpful! I wrote a long review on Google today! Thank you so much. We will be back whenever we visit our son in New Orleans.

Slidell KOA was a perfect stop for us. We spent a few days in New Orleans. The campground was quiet, clean restrooms and showers, level pull thru spots. Highly recommend this one on the NE side of the Causeway.

Super clean, separate bathrooms and free laundry. Sites have plenty of room between them and they are level with all the utilities working the way they are supposed to work. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to every store you might need. Plenty of restaurants within a 5 mile radius.

I was stayed at the tent area with access to electric. It was near the bathroom, the store and the dog park. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend, especially for single women traveling alone.

Great new KOA. They are working hard on this new property. The only concern I have is over the lack of lighting. Periodic street lights would help with the darkness. Likewise lights are needed near the playground and especially the dog park.

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
