This campground is beautiful! The grounds are very well kept and it's pretty plus the restrooms & laundry are well done (restrooms are beautiful) and kept very clean. Marilyn does an excellent job keeping things clean at the laundry & restrooms. The office is nice with a nice gift shop too. The pool is beautiful and the park has a beautiful walking trail. We didn't want to leave.

The office staff were awesome very friendly.Our camp site was very spacious and clean. The park is nice and quiet and very well maintained.They have lots of activities there to do.We will definitely be back.

This was a great park that was only 30 miles from New Orleans. The staff was very friendly. The park was clean and it looks like the new owners are ready to expand. I would stay there again if in the area

We only stayed overnight, but it was very enjoyable. Doc was very friendly and assisted us by showing us exactly where we needed to put our RV. Once in the slot, he showed how to get the water to come out by demonstration and where the electrical box was located at. all in all we were grateful for his assistance.

This is probably the best KOA we have stayed at. The site and facilities were immaculate! Marilyn was so delightful and takes pride in her work! We would definitely come back! It’s quiet, nice store , real bbq, level site, lots of areas to walk . Overall great stay!

Facility was OK but the other guests had too many noisy dogs. Dogs are fine, we have one, but not tied outside barking.

We had very nice relaxing time in Slidell KOA after Mardi Gras. Campground is clean and quiet with a nice swimming pool, bath house and laundry. I would recommend anybody who’s coming to that area to stay here.

The staff at the camp were very friendly and helpful. The KOA was very clean and well kept and the Wifi was excellent.

Beautiful new RV resort, love all the wooded spots. The people were very friendly. And free laundry is a winner. Close to route 10 and easy drive into New Orleans.

Mainly just came and went each day as this location is convient to lodge at while enjoing the festivities in New Orleans during Mardi Gras week

I don't immediately give a rate of five stars or quickly recommended anything until I've visited a few times myself. But the Slidell KOA is the exceptional. I felt welcomed from my initial conversation during the reservation process. The kind hospitality I received during my very late night arrival, the humble greeting of the staff as I enjoyed my morning stroll and the interaction with other camp

We stayed a few nights at the campground and spent time in New Orleans. The campsites were clean, well kept. The staff were pleasant. The only issue we had was that the water was oily. We could feel it on our skin after washing. We had a new filter on our trailer. The next place we stayed, it was fine, so it was not the filter. They offered free laundry, which we greatly appreciated.

We only stayed 1 night, but we were treated like we were staying forever! we were greeted by the friendly lady behind the desk. Every one we encountered was so very welcoming. We were in site #2 next to the dog park, easy pull in and out. would stay again when we are in the area.

We had a great stay. Very friendly staff, bathhouse had very large individual rooms with great hot water and water pressure. The grounds were emasculate. The rv sites were very spacious. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend them to others.

This park is fairly new. It is well laid out and sites are clean and well spaced. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Lots of room to walk the dog and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We stayed here 3 nights. The sites are nice and long where we could have left our truck hooked up if we chose to do so. There is space between sites so you aren’t on top of each other. It is so peaceful and quiet at night. There is free laundry- huge bonus. The staff is incredible. So helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again and for a longer period of time. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at this campground- Jan and Feb. This was the nicest Journey we have stayed at. The sites are wide/level. The bathrooms and showers are all separate and clean. Laundry facilities are nice- and free. They have a great pool but it was too cool to swim. They have other activities that we didn’t try- disc golf/fishing pond. We would definitely recommend this campground

We felt positively about seeing the continuous presence of ground staff - both in the office and driving around the resort. We want to mention “Doc” who was very helpful checking us into our site and providing valuable input for our stay. Due to unexpected weather, we had to extend our stay by a few days. The request was promptly accommodated. We recommend a visit to historic Slidell for good

Late arrival was great. Rick the late evening guy guided us to our campsite and made sure we got set up properly in the dark. The property is neat and clean. Showers were especially nice. Plenty of walking space in the park to get your exercise in.

We had a wonderful stay at the Slidell KOA. The friendly staff was efficient at checking us in a very good resource on how to navigate New Orleans. The site was an easy pull through that accommodated our 43 foot Solitude. We will most definitely be back as it is easy access to RT 10

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
