Arrived at night in a rain storm. When we left out early the next morning, we could see what a really nice place it was. Great roads inside the park.

Great location. The park area and staff are great. The restrooms should be better kept, they were full of bugs and even though listed as newer the people who stay at this campground must be very hard on their bathrooms. Would also be nice for them to have more than three showers considering how large the campground is.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer, more efficient or more friendly. The park itself, and the site that we had was probably the prettiest one we’ve had on our travels. We will certainly stay here again the next time we come this way. Thank you for making it such a nice stay!

Very nice campground and location. A bathhouse near the rear end of the campsites is needed.

This KOA is very quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this KOA to our family and friends.

Great campground! Lovely amenities and bathrooms and staff was very friendly. I would say the only downside is the time the staff was cleaning the bathrooms. They were often being cleaned in the morning when ourselves and other campers were trying to get ready for the day

The dog park here is good and the k-9 kamp at my campsite was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a new disc golf course set up and have a large selection of frisbee discs available for purchase.

Great for a stop on our trip. We stayed 2 nights and did some touring in the area. Then came back to our large pull through site.

This is one of the best KOAs we have ever stayed in. Quiet, shaded, well thought out. Everyone who stayed here were very respectful of the quiet hours. So special that they have a couple of sites that have dog pens. Bath and restrooms. very clean and well serviced. We so look forward to staying here again.

Love the wide spaces..much nicer than average KOA where everything is so tight. FREE Laundry�ϋ� no scrounging for quarters or apps that don't work. Beautiful large pond with fish... friendly staff great pool. All around A+

Second time we stayed here and is now a favorite campground for us when traveling to and from the east coast. Beautiful landscaping and great amenities. A friendly and caring staff. Doc greeted us, escorted us to our site, helped me back in, made sure water and electricity worked and we swapped military veteran experiences. He made us feel welcomed. Just a great experience for us.

We love KOA. We arrived late afternoon and “Doc” was there to assist in anything we needed. Such a nice man and we always find all KOA staff to go above and beyond their duties. They all truly care about their guests. Great job Doc! Thank you !

This has been , by far, the best KOA experience yet. If we are ever back in Slidell area, I know where we will be staying. Most KOAs have fairly decent bathroom and shower facilities. It was a real treat taking a shower this morning. Well done!

Very nice park that was clean with plenty of space for our rig! The check-in process was easy and the people very friendly. This park will be on our list of places to stay next time in the area!

Quick check-in process. Clean facilities. Shady campsite with ample space, offering plenty of privacy. A very beautiful pool, but the water temperature was too cold.

The campground had excellent amenities, and everything was still brand new. I couldn't talk my wife into disc golf, but maybe next time I was through? The campground is conveniently close to Cajun Encounters which is a great wildlife tour. Next time I'm passing through I'll do it again.

Nice new park. With a few changes it could be a fantastic park. Keep the gas grills cleaned, Clean them after every visit. Our grill was disgustingly dirty which I had to clean before use. Ants need to be addressed as they are everywhere. More attention to detail with your lawn service. Edging and trimming is not happening in may areas. Pickup branches by the trees and cut down the dead trees

Nice new park with plenty of space between sites. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. My dogs loved the grass dog park and all the walking trails. One of our favorite KOAs.

Pull through sites had plenty of space. Facility's and grounds were very clean and very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and welcoming especially Rick. All around safe area to let the kids roam around without having some car speeding around. We will definitely be back.

Nice park....normally do not care for most KOA parks, but this one is exceptional. Lots of space, not cramped, quiet, nice staff. We will return!

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
