This is now one of my favorite KOA's. The staff are very nice, our site was level and big rig friendly, the property is nice with lots to do and explore and it is so quite and peaceful.

KOA Slidell was very convenient to New Orleans. It is a new campground and still expanding. The grounds are very clean and the sites to be a good size. The employees were very nice and informative. We did laundry during our stay. We found you had to pay for the washers (normal) but what a surprise to find the dryers were FREE. We would stay here again.

We suffered a flat on our RV and installed our spare but hubby wanted to get a new tire when stores opened in the AM. KOA was kind enough to accommodate us after hours, were very understanding of our situation. Very nice park, big sites and everything you'd want and expect from a great KOA.

I love this KOA ~ it’s new, very well maintained, clean & owners are very friendly & accommodating. One of the reasons I chose to stay here is because of it’s close proximity to New Orleans and it’s located in a nice, quiet, safe area. This was the 2nd time I stayed here, was as satisfied as my 1st time & highly recommend it!

This campground is fantastic! Close enough to New Orleans without being in New Orleans. Bathhouses are clean and fantastic! The pool is beautiful. They had tons of great activities for the kids. The dog park was a good size with activities for the dogs. Check out LA Pines nearby for some amazing beignets!

This brand new KOA in Slidell is amazing! It's well off main highways, so it's super quiet. Sites are spacious, the bathhouse is amazing with an awesome ADA shower, and the dog park is huge for playing ball! Only a 30 minute drive to the French Quarter and a 10 minute drive for a Swamp tour at Honey Island Swamp tours.

Very easy access from I10, easy access from road, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful office and community space near the pool. Very close proximity to New Orleans, already contemplating a stay for next winter when we travel to Texas! We are 65 feet total length truck and 5th wheel and we were able to manuever in park and they had sites long enough so we didn't have to unhitch for our stay.

Slidell KOA is brand new and it's a work in progress. Lisa at the front desk is very friendly and gave us some good tips on the area. Jason and Eric, the grounds keepers, go above and beyond to answer any questions you may have. It's about an hour drive to New Orleans and all the attractions. The pool is still not open due to permit issues. It's very quiet and all utilities worked properly.

Not allowing Tesla charging is an issue. My car only draws 32 amps which is well below the 50-amp breaker rating. I charge without issue at all non-KOA locations over 50 times a year.

The campground was very relaxing and nice. The facilities were clean and operational. The manager was very friendly. One downside was we arrived late and the lot number assigned to us was not labeled (nobody's was labeled), and we had to guess which one was ours. Other than that, we would stay here again.

Slidell is a new KOA campground. We stayed there because it was close to New Orleans. Very quiet and clean campground. Wish they had a hot tub! Staff is very friendly.

Slidell KOA is fantastic. It is very clean and quiet. The amenities are wonderful. We stayed for one month during mardi gras season. It was a quick drive to New Orleans. Also close to activities, restaurants and shopping in Slidell. We will be back next year.

Everyone at this KOA was so friendly and helpful always had smiles on their faces. The campgrounds are a clean nest and lots of room at your space. We look forward to coming back here and see what else that they are going to do! The outdoor patio overlooking the water is beautiful, the check in was easy and so very neat. You will see us again!

Great location! Close to shopping and restaurants but quiet from heavy traffic. Easy in and out. Grounds are clean, office super friendly. Live music and food trucks on weekends. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice quiet location. Easy access in and out. Facilities were bright and clean. Staff very friendly, especially Lisa!! Food truck and live music were a nice touch. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Great campground for an overnight or two. We stopped here for two nights, arriving in a driving rain that didn't stop for 24 hours. Staff was great, getting us checked in and reminding us about the crawfish boil the next day. The roads are paved and sites are gravel, with easy hookups. The sites are raised above the level of the road, which is a good thing, as the roads flooded the next day! We were snug and dry however, and with good wifi, we relaxed and streamed media while watching the rain fall and the water rise. The flooding drained away and we were able to leave on drying roads the next morning. Sorry to miss the crawfish boil! Maybe next time.

First time at this campground, and we loved it! The owners are super nice and accommodating. We forgot to pack our grill! I mentioned it while in the camp store, and the owners offered to bring us one. That was pretty impressive. The pool is HUGE and perfect for all ages - they even have a large “ledge” section of the pool that is perfect for toddlers. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. I love that the bathrooms in their bathhouses are independent from each other instead of the dorm style like many campgrounds. They even have a teak table to hold all of your shower supplies and clothes while you shower. Slidell has so much to offer any traveler - great food and scenery. Ate a fancy dinner one evening at Palmettos, and they, too, were extremely accommodating. We had reservations for 4, but then another couple wanted to join us - Palmettos added another table and chairs to our set up and acted like it was no big deal - but it WAS a big deal to us. Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire long weekend that we were there. While that is NOT the fault of the owners, the site we chose (65) was almost entirely flooded the whole weekend. Other than the flooded site, THAT is the ONLY reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5!! We will come back, but we will book a different site. *We have our eye on the one with the patio set up and dog pen.
