We visited for a Savannah weekend getaway! From the efficient check-in by friendly Phyllis to being shown our lodge by Ken- this exceptional customer service was a welcome respite from the daily grind. Highly recommend this KOA for its proximity to Savannah, clean facilities and friendly welcoming staff!

First time in cabin. Wonderful and on the water. Mattress was terrible. Broken down. Deal breaker for us. Hair dryer didn't work. Everything else great. Don't know if we will stay in a cabin there again. Mattress way to soft and bed awful. Should fix that in cabins because most staying there are in big rv and have their own bed. I came home with a backache. KOA is beautiful.

We were booked in cabin 3. The cabin itself was what we expected…we stay in a bunch of KOAs. The picnic table was placed on a hillside where no rational person would put it and also expect a guest to have to move it so they could enjoy a meal and the view of the lake. $15 for our dog. No tv, frig. Could have stayed in a hotel with a bathroom for the same price.

Our stay very relaxing. Inside and outside is beautiful. Me and my kids enjoyed the nature, in the morning and night time setting. Everyone, staff and residents are very kind. We will be staying on the campground again Thanks

Our stay was marred by miscommunication and inconsistent policies. Despite requesting a late checkout days in advance, I was given conflicting answers and no follow-up. Staff failed to relay my request, then mentioned police involvement instead of offering a simple paid extension. The experience left me feeling rushed and distressed while unwell. Customer service needs serious improvement.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Magnolia cabin was peaceful, beautiful, clean and spacious. Made for a very relaxing stay. Would recommend to any travelers heading that way!

The staff from check in to check out and in-between was professional, courteous and most helpful. The roads through out the campground on the other hand needs serious repairs to the pot-holes. We love our stay and will most certainly be back in the future. The location was perfect for everything we want do do and see.

The club house is nice, staff was friendly, appreciate the use of the freezer for a few hours. One knock is, the new ramp needs strips of grip and too bad they cut the two 4x4s off so short on the handrail.

It started out a little rocky with the gas alert going off in our cabin but the staff were diligent and took care of us in a timely manner and the accommodations that they put us in was absolutely beautiful! The Theresa is a cabin I would bring my family and stay in. Thank you l!

Stayed in one of the cabins on the lake. Had everything we needed bbq grill worked great. Cabin was clean. Pillows were alittle hard but bed was good. Only thing would like to have some cabins with bathrooms that allowed pets �

A big thank you to all the staff who helped this be a perfect, Girl Scout trip! This is the second time our troop has stayed here and it’s always perfect. I am in a very large Facebook group for Girl Scouts traveling to Savannah and I always share and recommend you all.

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in Cabin 3 and were right on the water for beautiful scenery all day. Our kids enjoyed the playground and recreation room as well. We were treated so nice after checking in late the next morning. Our kids are already asking when we can come back to this location. I think its safe to say that we might be back the next time we are in the area.

We had 3 young adults in a deluxe cabin by the Lake #104 and I had site 14 for my motor home. We enjoyed our stay and loved the lake and the swans. We will be back! Staff was friendly and attentive making for an awesome stay. Thanks KOA, Wes

Staff was amazing helping us with our late arrival. We did get to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the the water. Next time hopefully we can explore more. A one night stay was very convenient for our journey home. Thank you.

Savannah South KOA is always our first stop going north from Florida. The staff is very friendly and professional. We've never been to a cleaner or more peaceful campground. These folks do a great job making campers comfortable

We stayed in a rustic cabin and it smelled musty/moldy, and all the floors or countertop was cleaned with a lacquer it seemed and was bubbling up in places. It was so humid and sticky in the cabin the AC barely provided relief from the Savannah heat.

Very clean Campground with a great scenic view of the lake. Nice little park and pool area very clean bathrooms. We stayed at one of the lodges right on the lake. Everything worked as it should. My kids loved seeing one of the alligators in the lake everyone had a great time. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful, well kept and staffed! I stayed in a primitive Kabin and had a great time. The view from the front porch was so relaxing. The shower facilities are SUPER clean and well maintained. I had my fur pups with me and there was lots of space to walk them.

I've stayed here numerous times since 2021. Due to having medical appointments at one of Savannah's hospitals, I've found that the cabins are perfect for a few nights. The location in Richmond Hill is very convenient to all of Savannah's attractions.The town itself is easy to navigate with great restaurants and parks for leisure activities. The men's showers have been very clean with most visits.

We only stayed a single night in our travel trailer while passing through Savannah, but we will definitely come back again and stay longer. We loved how many swan, geese, alligators, etc we saw. We hung out at the pool mostly but we could still see everything in their lake. I had no idea they had cabins for rent until we started to walk around the KOA to look at what other animals we could find. We made sure to keep our distance from the wildlife, even though they did not seem to be afraid of us. The cabins looked really nice, clean, and well maintained. Some of the trailer spots were a little close but if you're just passing through it shouldn't be a problem. We reserved a premium spot that gave us more room and a nice level area to park on. This KOA appears to be small from the front but it goes really far back. If you have kids, there is a playground in the very front by the pool.

Easy on/off I95 and very pleasant helpful staff. Our site was a FHU pull thru and level. Only stayed one night but Red our dog enjoyed the dog park and walks.
