Easy entry from I-95. Friendly staff. Very accommodating sites and beautiful lake. Clean bathrooms. Perfect stop while traveling.

When I made Reservation I explained that I was traveling alone and did not want to disconnect as this was 1 night on the way type of stay. Luckily I did not have to connect to sewer because it was right in the middle of site and don't think many would have enough sewer line to reach it. the site was just barely long enough for me to not stick out in road at either end.

I broke down and most likely wouldn't stay at a KOA, I loved every thing about my stay and even became a member.... can't wait to do drop in again, everyone was AWESOME there including the clientele...to be continued

The park is nice and we really liked our site location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the cable was very fuzzy, not a good picture at all. We’ve never had an issue before, nor since so we’re sure it’s the connection at the site. Also at about 8:00am the morning after we arrived, a tree truck arrived and set up right next to our coach and proceeded to take down a

The people at the desk were wonderful. When our arrival was delayed several days, they moved our arrival date forward each day without charging a fee, which the nearby state park would have done. They also held a package we had delivered there. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. Laundry is only open 8AM to 8PM. The lake was nice. The sites were tiny, just parkinng spaces with hookups.

This place is perfect. Nothing more needs to be said. Not just WiFi- it’s HIGH speed and every person I dealt with was friendly and the facility was flawless.

Super clean bathrooms, super clean campsites, exceptionally attentive staff, fantastic lake with swans (for real), easy in and out, facilities are up to date and fully functional. All the amenities KOA can offer.

Wonderful, but too short, stay at Savannah South KOA. Good communication before and during check in. Staff friendly and polite; explained my site and the route to it, then escorted me to it. Level site with enough room to put our awning out. We only stayed for a night, but will be back soon again to explore Savannah!! We stayed in a 40 ft. motorhome.

We were only passing through, but accomodations were good. Clean and pretty setting. We enjoyed the natural aurroundings while being so close to stores, restaurants, and the highway.

We love the park. The people working there are very kind and helpful. The pull through spots are a bit tight but to be expected in a park so close to a prime city. Would love it if they continued to add patios and more upgrades to the sites they have. We will definitely be back!

Convenient from the 95 freeway. Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff! However the camping cabin to which I was assigned (#3) had a very strong and unpleasant smell that permeated my clothing. I had to wash everything I took into the cabin when I arrived at my destination the next day. I believe it may be the cleaning fluids that are being used.

Campground amenities were nice, but if you want to explore Savannah itself you are on the outskirts, a half hour drive away from the river walk and other city areas of interest. KOA Staff suggested we contact Manny Taja (912) 344-8120, a campground local. He drove us to downtown Savannah, explaining a bit about the city along the way & as arranged picked us up a few hours later. Cost is up to you!

Clean cabin, nice location on a pond with swans. inflexible cabin rental policy-the KOA lost money rather than let a cabin be rented for one night...really should review this. Bathrooms were smelly and mildewy...not like this our previous 2 stays. Front desk folks not real friendly, except the young lady in the morning, but all were efficient.

We enjoyed our stay it was a lovely Campground very friendly people many amenities even cable TV which we were very pleased about had a shuttle that took us into Savannah and we stayed most of the day and the shuttle bracket was back home that was very helpful would stay there again

In our 35 years is traveling we've stayed at many, many KOA's and they have always been hit or miss for us. This one however is a hit. Well organized, clean, friendly and conveniently located. Best of all it was easy to get into and out of with our VERY long rig. We always stress how long we are and have still had issues with being put in spots we never should be in. But here they listened and gave us a nice long and roomy site. They have a week stocked store/office, a pool, game room, big lake, cabins and more. Our utilities were well placed and steady. All in all we'd be happy to stop there again.
