We arrived at 10:30 because we were trying to get settled before a rainstorm moved in. We were told it would be an extra $15 to check in early. We had already paid for the last site at $120. We arrived at 11:00 and told we needed to wait till 11:30 when the site was empty. It’s starting to rain. We left early the next day at 7am. Other campgrounds will allow early check-in without a fee.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We always accommodate early arrivals as best as we can. With check out being at 11 am sometimes if guests arrive before that the site will most likely be occupied from the previous night, and needs to be cleaned for the arrival. Our fees are listed on out website but we are sorry for any confusion.

We had a great stay. It’s a wonderful campground. Staff and hosts are very friendly, everything is kept very clean, lots of amenities including delicious pizza.

We stayed in Sara Fe, NM on September 20,2025. We loved our spot, it had a little fences in area with chairs and table, and a burn pit. So nice to sit and let our fur babies play in our spot. The place was really clean and well taken care of. Would love to go there again!

Staff was wonderful. Made us feel at home. The set up of the grounds was very nice and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Thank you for everything. You all were very kind to us. The only reason you got a 4 out of 5 is you need a pool.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Historic Santa Fe! EZ drive to The Plaza for World Class shopping, art galleries, fashion and authentic Mexican Food. The camp had everything we needed and friendly, helpful hosts! Try the pizza, it's great!! Thank you to all the helpful staff!

We were in for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. The amenities were awesome, from the dog park, restrooms, sites and camp store. The employees were very friendly and informative.

Bathrooms very clean, nice and quiet, but $85 a night is kinda pricey for a place without a lot of amemities, (And that's after my KOA discount.) but things went smoothly until 5 minutes after the 11:00 checkout time we were approached by a young lady who works there who told us that if we weren't out in 10 minutes we would be charged a late checkout fee.

Nice KOA, and very well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites were just a tiny bit cramped, but we do have a 40 foot fifth wheel - perhaps it’s due to the odd configuration of the campground and sites, but will say they were in the process of expanding, so perhaps they plan to reconfigure some. Would definitely stay again!

The Santa Fe KOA in Santa Fe, NM is one of the better KOAs we've stayed at. It's a beautiful park. We loved our assigned space. It was perfect. It was easy to get in and out of. The campground is nestled in between lots of trees. They're also expanding the campground. It should be ready in time for the balloon festival next year. The people were incredibly nice and welcoming, and the bathrooms and grounds were immaculate! The only down side (due to location not the other campers) was the highway noise, which seemed to quiet down at night.

Great stay! All were gracious and friendly. Offered great ideas for visiting the Santa Fe area as this was our first visit. Delivered firewood and pizza to our site. Pizza was delicious! We had a Paw Pen site and our dogs loved it! Thanks to all!

Nicole, the host was so welcoming, friendly and professional. The laundry room was immaculate and our clothes were cleaned quickly and well! The sites are very well designed! Would definitely stay here again if we're closer to PA!

We had a great stay at the Santa Fe KOA and the dogs enjoyed the Paw Pen! The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the pizza is great too!

Do not stay here if you are a woman traveling alone or with children. It is not safe. One of their employees acted completely inappropriately and the entire staff including the owner was quick to double down, stick together and reassure me that he’s “a really good guy, he’s a retired police officer.”

In all the KOA’s we have stayed this is the ONLY one who charged us $15.00 for early check-in and we arrived right before the ‘close’ for a lunch break from 11-12:30pm EVERY DAY! The gal who check us in was not very friendly and seemed put-out that we were there ‘early’ and at her break time. The park is great however customer service was severely lacking…

Very good KOA with an extremely friendly staff. The crew cleaning, checking and keeping things running outside seem to never stop working. We were pleased with our stay and the campground was quiet and peaceful. We recommend if you’re looking for a place near Santa Fe or Albuquerque this is a great place to stay.

They accommodated my Tacoma, plus the 12-foot trailer I was pulling. My stay was outstanding. Everything worked: the bathrooms, shower facilities, and laundry room. I stay at many KOAs when I'm doing photography and Art Shows, and honestly, this was THE BEST KOA I've ever stayed at!

Our stay was very short but wonderful!! While there we used the bathrooms (very clean) and showers were great. The staff were all super helpful and friendly!! We even received an escort to our camping site! :)

Staff very informative and friendly. Our pull thru, full hookups up site was long but very unlevel and narrow. Our slide was up against tree branches. WiFi was good. Cell service ok if you have AT&T. They are constructing new RV sites which look to be very nice.

I had a great stay at the Santa Fe KOA. The deluxe cabin was clean, cozy, and perfect for my first solo trip. I felt very safe the whole time. Susan gave me a warm welcome & tour of the campground, and David was kind enough to bring firewood to my cabin so I didn't have to carry it. Perfect base for exploring Santa Fe & nearby parks. Would 100% stay again.

This was a great campground with unique amenities. My kids like the outside games and game rooms. The park was so clean. We stayed in a cabin and it is so mcuh fun. We appreciated the heater. The thing that I would like them to improve, is to put paper towels in the bathrooms. Trying to dry your face with an air dryer stinks. The camp managers were amazing-friendly folks!

Jessica and her staff were both friendly and helpful. The site they assigned us fit our 30 ft. 5th wheel and truck nicely with room to spare. Bathrooms were very clean and shower area was good size with hot water. Only minor complaint I have was the large storm duct and green debri bag that was in our rear window view. Probably could have easily been relocated out of site.

Stayed mid May in RV. Very nice campground, nice facilities, clean and organized. Staff was incredibly nice, friendly and professional (make you feel like family). Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Such a nice KOA. They got the important things right: clean and modern bathrooms, friendly and helpful staff, smooth check-in, lots of information on the billboards. It was also the little things. An impressive general store with local art and gifts, beautiful patio, kid/pet areas. They allowed EV charging conveniently in front of the office too. The only snag was, like many KOAs, it's not very distant from the interstate so there is constant road noise for the tent campers as highway 25 never really dies down. Bring ear plugs or buy some from the general store :)
