This tent site was all I needed for my visit to the area. Affordable, quiet, clean and surrounded by natural beauty were all additional perks that I enjoyed. Thank you!

Good place, and an excellent location! Amenities were slightly less than most koa's. But maybe its in progress with new owners or something. It Would be nice to have pool, cabins, outlets, and water at tent sites, etc

We were late on the road and needed a place to camp for the night. Even though it was after hours we were able to rent a spot for the night. We set up camp, was able to take nice hot showers after a long day of driving. We broke camp early the next morning and we were back on the road by 8:00 am.

Nice people so that part is great. Looks like the RV section is the drawing card. We camped for 2 nights and the tent section is worn out, fences down, small amounts of trash. Bathrooms need upgrading. But we just camped and it all worked for us.

I didnt make it in the day of reservation do to car trouble but the host called me to see if I made it. when I told him about my car issue and that i could make it in the next day he offered to move my reservation to a new date at no extra cost. this was very kind of him to do and it helped keep my vacation from becoming a disaster.

Tim the campground host was awesome! He let me borrow a shovel when I needed to dig out the wet soil in my fire pit from dousing the fire the night before. I didn't mention it to him but the men's room needs attention. There are spiders and the main drain line under the sinks needs to be snaked. Other than that the place was awesome.

I was not at all impressed with the lack of amenities at this campground. With that said, the bathrooms were clean but not particularly well constructed and the price was not as high as some other KOA campgrounds that have more amenities. The site we were on (a tent site) was not level at all. This made sleeping pretty uncomfortable. So unfortunately I cannot say I would stay here again/refer.

Arrived late but we still got the instructions! Very quick and easy check-in and check-out. Staff is extremely friendly!

The camp grounds are clean and are divided very well so you are secluded from the other adjacent campers to the sides of you along the creek tent sites where we stay every year. The wash rooms on the other hand are a little bit outdated and could use a remodel badly, the shower stalls are way too small and scuzzy, and the locks on the toilet stall doors are left to be desired.

Nice location and quiet , absolutes clean campsite, but poor Wifi Service, the restrooms are too small for all the people of the campground, and it is Quote a walk, for tent campers.

Very nice site/ facilities. Very painful reservation process. I drove for 3 and a half hours last month to walk the site for our future trip (with 6 motorcyclists). I met with staff and confirmed 3 sites together. I paid in full and that was a painful process. We showed up for our reservations a month later, none of the sites were as discussed or reserved. VERY disappointed!! Call me please.

We camped. Our 2nd night there a group of motorcyclist arrived around 1030 to set up camp. They were pretty loud until pretty late. Our 3rd night, campers several sites down played very loud music until after 11pm. My son and I hiked several miles daily and came back in the evenings wanting to relax and then go to bed by 10. The campsite itself was ok. It was mostly the inconsideration others.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great near some of the 14ers in the area. The bathrooms were clean but can use some updating. The store had minimal items for sale. Coffee was available but the office did not open until 10am

Site T-11 is small compared to the other tent sites. The WiFi did not reach our site. Overall the WiFi was weak even when you’re close to the office. Bathrooms are nice but a bit too far away. Otherwise, we did enjoy this KOA

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even lent us a drill so we could mend our awning. Facilities were clean and just what we needed

Loud, bathrooms far,no handicapped ramps from camp site to restroom, camp site smalland not far enough from others no privacy, could hear airplanes all night and highway traffic.

Great little tent spot right on the creek! It was a newer koa according to the sign but it reminded me of summer camp as a kid. Very friendly staff, bathrooms need some work but they were clean. Was a pleasant stay would go back.

Tent area felt tired and uncared for. Also WiFi didn't work in that area and it wasn't obvious where we should get water from in the tented area . So overall disappointing.

The facilities seem fairly "tired". The picnic table at our site was in terrible condition and I wouldn't have wanted to eat a meal on it. One of the showers in the women's bathroom was out of order and another guest said that it had been that way for years. On the positive side, I did appreciate the size of our tent spot.

The women's bathroom needs more outlets and the shower on the end really needs to be fixed! Never times when there weren't enough outlets and showers and people had to wait.

We loved our stay at the Salida KOA! We were out exploring during the day and the campground was just what we needed when we came back each afternoon. We loved having a tent site along a creek, the area is beautiful. The bathrooms were a bit of a walk from the tent sites but they were always clean and bug free so I’ll walk for that! We would recommend anyone passing through to stay here.

Comfortable, but couple of inconveniences: bathroom is pretty far from the tent sites and the location is right off of 50, so the road noise is unavoidable and ever present. Close to town.

Stayed in a creekside tent camping site. Very nice. Bathrooms and showers are clean.

KOA Salida is fine. The tent sites by the creek are nice. Facilities are clean. RVs are much closer to facilities; tents are far away and wifi doesn't reach out to tents. Office hours are only 10-4, we would leave by 9 and back after 5 so didn't see anyone the whole time. Kids liked the playground, not much to do otherwise.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom facilities were a bit run down and a long way from the tent camping. It would be nice to have a more centralized bath house, or possibly even an outhouse or port-a-potty for tent users. The tent sites had a lovely little creek running along the backside. It’s not the most glamorous of accommodations, but we would stay again.

Very nice and clean. We stayed in the Camping area. It is quite a long hike to the bathroom and you have to cut through campsite number 17 to get to the bridge to go over the creek to get to the bathroom. He would probably be best to not have a campsite number 17 right there at the bridge. Everything else was great

This was up at the Mt not far from the KOA. The KOA had great sites for RV and tent. The staff was very kind.
