Very nice campground with lots of privacy but walkable to town. Tent sites were big and clean. Bathrooms very clean. Nice place to stay.

Excellent. KOA was quiet yet with a lot of occupants. The only noise from the nearby hwy - expected. I used a tent spot T04 which was fine overall but it did seem a bit of a 'last minute thought' about having them in amongst all the RV spots. Probably makes sense given how few folks actually use tents anymore. Take a look at hornets/wasps in table tubing. Maybe not a problem. Great place to stay.

Ann checked us in and she was delightful and gave us great recommendations for eating (Black Bear Diner was the best!). The bathrooms were modern and clean, pool was great and there were plenty of spots to sit and relax. Staff were friendly & helpful. They have newer owners who are really making nice improvements at the campground and we really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend!

Very happy with our stay. Such a beautiful campground and pleasant staff. Bathrooms were clean and comfortable. There was even a friendly neighborhood dog to keep an eye on us.

I just had a short overnight stay on my roadtrip back to California! The campground was well maintained, bathrooms were clean, and the amenities were great! Will definitely stay here again during future adventures!

The facilities were clean and quiet. The store closed at 6pm - I’ve been to other KOAs where the stores are open until 8 pm so that was frustrating. When the stores opened at 9 am the next day, we looked in. There was no food offered only some sodas. It also looked like quite a few spots were for long term residents which made the park feel a little strange.

Five stars for friendliness. The camp hosts were welcoming and informative. The campground was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay there and look forward to staying there again in the future. It’s close to town, but quiet. Definitely recommend.

Excellent campground with awesome Hosts! It's in a great, convenient location, yet not next to a highway or under an airline flight path! Has all the comforts of modern life like wifi, showers, laundry, etc. Richfield itself is very beautiful and convenient to the natural wonders Utah has to offer like Fremont Park and Escalante National Monument. I had a great stay for two nights.

We had a nice large grassy spot which we really appreciated after the rocky spot in Hurricane. The washrooms were clean, firewood was available and the location was fairly close to amenities.

Fantastic campground. Great location near the city, but also secluded enough to feel like you were still camping in nature. The host was very nice and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The restrooms and showers were very clean and never too busy. Our tent site had a picnic table, electric hookup, and fire pit with cooking grate attached. One of the best KOA's we've stayed at!

When I stayed I came in very late due to long road construction detours. Everything was ready for me. I didn't have time to really see the place but I did notice how well the staff worked to maintain it and that says a lot to me. Even their extended stay people seemed to help out. Given a chance I would like to try this place again. It was pretty peaceful.

Everything was awesome here at Richfield KOA. The campground was easy to find and had everything we needed. The office staff and camp hosts were great people, super friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the playground and pool. We loved being so close to recreation and convenience, but still being living life outdoors.

Our stay was terrific and accommodating. The restrooms and showers were clean, well maintained. Cute store and friendly KOA staff. Would highly recommend and suggest Richfield KOA Campground to friends and family that are traveling through the area.

Well, maybe this is the thing for city people but to stay in a gravel parking lot surrounded by RV,s screaming kids and barking dogs is so not camping... It is also expensive. We typically stay on BLM/FS land for free with nobody around for miles in the most scenic places. Once a week or so we may stay in a state park where it can be as low as 6 dollars with the vet discount and the spaces are sep

This is a sweet little campground. There is a lot to do for me one of the smaller KOA I’ve been to and the camp host and the workers are friendly and keep everything so very clean. I really loved staying here and I really would stay again.

The place was clean and had great amenities making tent camping more comfortable. We were there for our son's mountain biking camp; part of that camp was fostering relationships with teammates. The staff were nice and helpful, but they had such strict rules that didn't allow the kids to be kids and hang out at night or ride their bikes around camp.

Overall, a nice campground. I was very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, and the residents. Campground is clearly well-maintained and clean. Very noticeable. I'm not sure it's really a holiday, though - didn't really feel like it. It was missing some of the usual amenities of a holiday. Very obvious ATV destination and quite a few long-term residents. At one point the traffic by our site was non-stop. A little bit of a trailer-park feel in the back section. We chose pull through since we were just passing through. I would recommend some of the newer patio sites - those seemed a lot nicer and away from the traffic. All that being said, though, I would still stay here again, although I don't think I would spend a lot of time here.

Nice and helpful gal working the counter. Lots of hot water on the showers. Our camping cabin was spotless. A little noisy at first since we were by the pool, but once it got dark, the whole place was very quiet. We will stay again.

Update June 2026: Aaron a beautiful KOA, well kept, friendly staff. Original review: This KOA is a pleasant stay, Comfortable sites, clean and neat. My site was nicely shaded. The campground is adjacent to a residential neighborhood so it is quiet. The KOA staff were friendly and helpful. I had a good ATT signal. My only concern was dead branches in the tree above my site, that during a summer afternoon thunderstorm may come down on me. Other trees in the campground had dead branches over campsites. Regardless, I'd stay again, just in a site with no trees.
