Only spent 2 nights but friendly owners and staff. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry. They are doing a lot of work at this campground and it shows, including additional cabins. What I really liked was that it was not catering just to kids like some other KOAs. The pool was not open, but it was winter when I stayed.

The owner checked us in and was very kind and helpful with information about the local attractions. We stayed in a great patio spot with a nice fire ring as well as patio furniture. Our kids also enjoyed the playground at the campground which was well maintained. Thanks for everything!

Really nice park. Spaces are wide. Having the concrete patios was a treat. Owners and staff are very nice. The park is well landscaped and there are many trees. The park is close the Fishlake National Forest. It's only about a half an hour drive to the visitors center. It's a beautiful area.

This is a great little town right off I-70. The campground was absolutely lovely, quiet, spacious, and easily accessible. We had a 40 ft rig and dually truck, as well as a separate vehicle. They provided us with a slip that allowed all our vehicles to remain in one location. One of the gentlemen that works there gave us directions to a great dinner location...Steve’s Steakhouse. YUM!!!

Short stay. Very nice and neat campground! Would agree with others to just ignore the dated trailer homes out front. Lots of work going on to update sites. Staff courteous.

We stayed in a deluxe patio site. Fantastic site and great improvements have been made to this campground. This is our favorite KOA!!!

Very nice KOA. Under construction so we didnt have a picnic table. I did not expect to be charged 10.00 extra to have 4 adults stay. Didnt really appreciate it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

4 adults and 2 children in your party. We changed our rates so 2 adults and 2 children are included in the base rate. We just poured a new concrete slab on your site 2 days before you arrived so that is why there wasn't a picnic table on the slab.

Beautiful campground but under construction. All staying were together in one row. Nice new clean bathrooms with hot showers. Host was welcoming. We stayed just one night but would love to go back when trees are in bloom.

We very much enjoyed ourselves. The new building and site construction is great. We didn't use the laundry room but it looked very nice. We did use the showers. They were exceptionally clean and neat. It would have been nice to have a place to put clothes and soaps. The shower pads were a nice touch but it hurt my tender feet. Ha, Ha. Thank you for such a nice park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We pride ourselves in how clean we keep our campground. We will add additional hooks beyond the 2 we have in our shower rooms for hanging more clothes and towels. Shower pads are for safety. We have purchased new ones that will be better on your feet.

Nice campground in a residential area of town. Sites are large and lots of pull throughs, but all gravel and dirt. Top notch service, very friendly people.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have lots of lawn. The site you were in had a patch of lawn 15' wide and 60' long. Not sure how you missed that. We are in the process of improving the sites further with concrete pads at each site for picnic tables. Come back and see our improvements.

Location is very odd.... and inside of part of a trailer court.... sights are tight and very little Ammentities.... and was closed before we got there to check in at around 6pm... if you want a KOA experience like a Holiday or Journey..this is not one id recommend. 1 of only 2 KOAS I wouldn't recommend... the other is Wendover NV.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are NOT located inside a trailer park. We share an entrance road with a mobile home park but they are totally separate properties. Not sure what amenities you are looking for but our pool was closed for the winter season, we have horseshoes, Frisbee golf, corn hole, basketball, 2 dog parks and some very nice bathrooms, all open. You need to look around better to see our award winning park.

Owner, Mike, very nice and helpful. Weren't busy, so gave us a nice space with patio. table and chimnea. Didn't use with freezing temps. Laundry facility good and very clean restrooms. Good store. We didn't check out cable box, but should have. This campground is in town next to a school. Very quiet. Only drawback is run down trailer park in front, which will be improved as the campground grows.

We were there in early spring and they just opened, but you could tell that they had the right passion for the season and the people who are about to show up. It will be a great shady place to stay for a few days.
