Boomtown KOA is a handy place to take a break from the road. Check in was easy with friendly staff.

We were surprised to see how many people are now living at this KOA it changes the feel of the place that we have always enjoyed. Otherwise great stay!

Great place Sites are too close together however When you put your RV and then vehicle at the site you could end up partially blocking another site. Also, full timers are parking on the road, in front of their RV’s blocking incoming or outgoing RV’s until they move their venicle

All the utilities were in good working condition. More than enough space to walk my dog. Ample and convenient access to waste disposal. Would definitely recommend this location. If ever in Reno again will stay at this location. One of rather cleanest RV parks I have stayed at.

We have been staying here for many years and this time we very pleased with the spot we got this time I hope the next time we will be able to get it again We go to Reno at least 2 times a year and ave always been well treated here

Friendly staffs, Clean and tidy facilities as well as the campgrounds. The utility hook-up areas are always dry and clean, an effort of keeping things up is apparent and appreciated.

Sites are pricey and the Wifi is almost non-functional. Unfortunately, this is typical of a KOA campground.

The Boomtown KOA is one of the best RV parks I have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were immaculate, the restrooms and showers were very clean, and you couldn't ask for a better view, right above the Truckee River. If you are into gambling (my wife is, me not so much), the Boomtown Casino is a stone's throw away and a very nice facility. I will visit this KOA again!

Nice park with friendly staff. Spaces are 55’ in length but a bit on the narrow side. Still plenty of room for a large RV. Be careful of some of the trees as they have branches that are close to tall RV’s. Overall a nice park with clean showers. Just remember cleanup after yourself to help keep things clean for the next person.

We came in late and last minute with no reservation on a Friday night. Isabel was just the person we needed after a harrowing day on the road. It was like a safe port in the storm!

Assigned spot with a bad electrical connection (Open Ground per my surge protector). Went to the office and was told that it's usually the surge protectors that cause that, and their power is fine. I went on to explain that the power panel at the site was broken and would not stand straight. After some back and forth, they agreed to swap me into another unit but I had to pay the difference.

Very expensive. They charged us a Holiday Rate. According to their literature, it was Labour Day weekend. September 27th??. When questioned, the attending staff then said it was a local holiday. Upon arriving to my site, it was paved but I had to adjust my tires on one side with 2 blocks!! Difficult corners to get in and out of the campground. On the plus, staff was very pleasant. I will be contacting corporate due to the issues of our stay. There are too many to right in this little message. The staff was WONDERFUL! Maria, Chris, Isabel were all fantastic. We have been wanting to stay long term for about 6 weeks and have been givien the run around and at this point because of the way it was handled feels personal and discriminatory. The lack of communication was unreal.
