Only interaction with staff was on check in. Larry was professional. Just be aware that every site is lower on one side. Every rv needed blocks. Also grass sprinklers come on at random times, even while cooking dinner outside. Used security to take us up to casino. They arrived super fast however after calling to return, they forgot us until I called twice. 35 minutes later they arrived.

Very convenient location and clean

Friendly staff, easy check in, reasonably priced and a much needed relaxing stay.

Rene at the campground was awesome; the best camp host we have had on our trip! She was friendly, knowledgeable about fun stuff in the area, and fixed my errors on registration that would have screwed up our time in town. Give that woman a raise!

The park was clean and the hosts were very friendly. However, the sites were very narrow, and not long enough to park a vehicle in front of or behind the RV. Most of us parked by the door, in front of the picnic table. Our neighbors had a large truck and we couldn't extend 1 slide-out without hitting their truck. Fortunately, they were willing to move it closer to their camper.

Only have 2 bathrooms/showers,1 was out of order. Waited a half an hour for the bathroom and finally ended up driving to a gas station. Same thing happened in the morning. Would not recommend staying there.

Site was fine but we had an older wood picnic table while most of the other sites had newer ones.

Too small an area. No places to walk the dogs. The dog run was dusty. The person at the office wasn’t the most helpful.

The first three days were ok. Then on Sunday evening we returned to a fire burning and there was a lot of smoke. It was pretty overwhelming. There weren’t any staff to advise campers !! We had $ 40.00 extra to refill propane used to run a CPAP machine. Entire unit smells like smoke.

My trip to Reno was cancelled. We stayed at journey KOA in Red Lodge MT. We enjoy staying at KOA campsites. Hopefully we can stay at Reno KOA next year,

Our stay was cut short because of a forest fire we warned that the Sheriffs Department was going to evacuate us so we left soon after that warning snd the power went out thank you

Bathrooms are minimal and closed more than open.

The park is very crapped. I almost hit a tree trying to swing into the assigned space. The maintenance of the park left a lot to be desired.

Great clean park with well kept grounds. Pool and spa well maintained. Quiet. Love all the trees and they don't interfere with spaces. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Our dog was welcomed. Would definitely stay again

KOA Boomtown worked out fine for an overnight. The bathrooms are not available from 10 pm to 6 am. The bathrooms otherwise were kept clean and the laundry area as well. Friendly staff. I am not into gambling so that amenity was not an attraction. It was a hot (mid-90s) day and unfortunately there are not a lot of trees for the back-in campsites along the northern fence + apartments right there.

The park was clean and the staff were very friendly.

The bathroom that was “open” in the AM when all the others were closed, was closed for cleaning. The newer spaces on hot black top, that we were assigned, were made incorrectly and we could not hook up the cable since it’s too far forward, instead of in the rear like every other space & campground. Someone stole our rug The staff is SUPER friendly,1 lady was hard working on the gar

Not very accommodating. WIFI didn’t work. No one would answer the phone. Sites are very small. Won’t be back.

I had put the deposit down and then I received an email telling me they don't allow tent camping. So I told them fine, give me my deposit back,no deposit but a receipt telling me thank you for my stay. I never stayed there, never Checked in, but they are collecting money and ignoring emails.

The staff in the office was AWESOME!! We had to extend our stay during a usually busy time and they were able to help us stay in the spot we were in and not move all around the campground. Thank you to Larry for all the help!

A quick overnight

When we arrived our campsite was not clean. Cigarette butts, paper food wrappings, and dog droppings greeted us. Unfortunately, one of our lawn chairs was stolen overnight. The WiFi is excellent.

Nice people, clean facilities, well kept RV spots, and decent location! They, like many RV parks, need a greater WiFi signal. Lastly, if you’re going to have a nice, warm spa, open it at 6am (not 9!) so early risers can enjoy it before it gets to hot out.

It is a quiet RV park and only 10 minutes from downtown Reno. Showers are not meant for people above 5'9 (shower head at chest level (6'3)). Big rigs unhook tow vehicle before entry as tight first turn—enough room to park Prevost with crew cab pickup in front of Prevost.

We spent 2 nights at the KOA at Boomtown. The staff at check in were great and the campground is clean and quiet and easily accommodates big rigs. Location offers a walk up to the casino and restaurants.

I came for work at reno. I rented a long-term spot, and prices are very considered the only thing I never saw anyone come to clean my spot. Otherwise, security always comes to patrol, very quiet .. Thank you
