Close to the casino, dogs allowed in the shuttle and in the casino. Small space to park the rig but great location for one night to drive on to your further out location.

We had the worst site we have ever had in all of our stays at any KOA, or at any other park. I booked in advance. When we pulled in an saw our site, I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a different site. She said there wasn't any other sites available. Then I asked if we could get a refund since the site was not acceptable. She said that we could not get a refund. AWFUL.

Meh. Reminds me of the old KOAs we stayed at with our kids 40 years ago. Service was friendly enough, but not particularly helpful (“No, we don’t have a list of TV channels. Would you like to buy an ice cream bar?”) And what’s the deal with restrooms being closed from 10:00 - 6:00?

We needed a place to stay with the wildfire evaculations. The staff were friendly and helpful. Park is clean and maintained.

“Renie” gets 10 stars!! Cleanly bathrooms gets 10 stars. We left campground at 6 am and the dump spot was locked so that was frustrating.

We were evacuated from our home due to the Davis Creek Fire, and pulled our small r-pod over to the Boomtown KOA. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The facilities for laundry and showers were clean and well kept. We had paid in advance for 3 more nights when we got the word we could go home, and the staff very kindly reimbursed us for all 3 nights. Definitely recommend this campground.

Staff was amazing!! Had an issue with power and was immediately moved to another spot. The campground was clean and quiet. I only stayed one night as I was passing through, and will definitely stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you

Camp has transformed itself into an even better KOA. Three years ago visit compared to last week's visit.... WOW, place looks great! Also love the new feature of being able to be picked up and dropped off at the casino! Trees are filling in. Grass is greener. Good Job!

We really love it here, The employees are very nice and helpful, the view is awesome in the back! Quiet and peaceful. We’ve invited two other friends to stay here also, Rossiter’s and Hillmans stayed at the hotel!!

Location was being closed in on by new houses. Did not feel like camping. Some long term residents were loud and obnoxious with a bit of tweeting going on and racing of their motorcycles up and down the roads. Felt like we really needed to watch our things

Not maintained well, water from m broken sprinklers, a lot of “resident” campers with sheds and personal belonging laid out. Looked like homeless encampment. KOA used to be a nice place to camp. This is the second KOA I’ve seen this way.

The site was littered and covered with pine needles. It's a huge RV park but only has two bathrooms that are available 24 hours a day

Laundry was nice. Staff was friendly. Wifi was the worst and everyday there was mud when you stepped out of your camper. Was.my least favorite of.the KOA campgrounds we have stayed at

I have stayed at Boomtown several times,and have always been very happy with the staff and Larry! They are kind, courteous, and go out of their way to help you when needed. The sites are paved but not level side to side. Bring leveling equipment to avoid problems with tanks draining properly. The grounds are always clean, and maintained. I look forward to staying again!

When we arrived, I was told that my reservation was for the next day. I was told that they were full. Then I showed her my email showing my dates and she proceeded to find me a spot while saying this happens all the time. It was in long term rental or I would have had no place for the evening. Obviously your online reservations. I may have to look elsewhere in the future!

I don't know what was going on but during the late evening water was running through my campsite all night long and completely drenched my outside run. I could not find where it was coming from. You may have to do some research! Staff very friendly, the pool was a pleasure and we had a great time!!

The campground was clean enough and they had several dog bag stations with trash cans. We did not use the facilities, but be aware, no bathrooms or laundry facilities after 10 pm until 6 am. We had made our reservations 3 months in advance and when we arrived they did not have a pull through site for us, so placed us in a back in site. To date, the charge difference has not been refunded.

This may well be the worst KOA I've ever stayed at. Our site had a deep mud puddle that we had to drive through to get into it. There was just dirt where the grass was supposed to be. The picnic table was filthy with bird droppings and so worn out that we couldn't sit down on it due to fear of splinters. There were so many worn out trashy RV's that I felt like I was in a homeless encampment.

This is by far the best KOA crew I have encountered. They maintain the property very well and will go above and beyond to help you with your stay. I stay in the area about 2 weeks out of the year and this will be home base from now on!

Larry is the best! We had truck issues and he made sure that we could stay in our space a couple of extra days….just in case. We didn’t even need to ask. He just gets customer service!

Our back in site was filthy, no grass, just patched pavement, weeds, flaking paint on the picnic table that looked like it hadn’t been used for months maybe years

Leo made our stay better by letting us select an unused spot we really liked, plus, Reno could be my fave. Lots to do, places to go or not. The nearby casino makes this one, one of a kind!

Site length was good, width not so good. Our slide out was apparently too close to The neighbor, he left a nasty gram on our door and then called us names as we left. There wasn't much more room we could have given him. The dog park needs improvement, a patch of dirt is not what I call a dog park. The pool area was nice, staff was pleasant.

It is a quiet RV park and only 10 minutes from downtown Reno. Showers are not meant for people above 5'9 (shower head at chest level (6'3)). Big rigs unhook tow vehicle before entry as tight first turn—enough room to park Prevost with crew cab pickup in front of Prevost.
