The people at the KOA at Boomtown were friendly and very helpful. But, the bathrooms are not open all night. That can be a problem for those who are up once or more throughout the night.

Staff were so kind in helping us when the storm was coming and we needed to move our arrival date. Thank you we appreciate you.

Electric pedestal had been severely damaged by a previous patron. Management set us at this site without any knowledge of this damage. Site 53. This was very dangerous and should not have occurred.

Stopped because we were having rv pump problems. They recommended a local mobile tech. He replaced our pump and we were back on schedule the next day. Park personnel were friendly & helpful. Park was clean and in good shape. We would stay here again.

Office staff friendly. Park nicely maintained except for site 52 and ours 53 which had lots of garbage and some dog poop. My husband stepped in a huge pile of poop when we set up. Granted we were in the least expensive sites but all that garbage ( papers, oil container, cushion and poop) should have been picked up just as the rest of the park had been. Not likely to stay again

It was a pretty good stay. The park is pretty quiet. My only problem was the WiFi connection never worked.

It is a quiet RV park and only 10 minutes from downtown Reno. Showers are not meant for people above 5'9 (shower head at chest level (6'3)). Big rigs unhook tow vehicle before entry as tight first turn—enough room to park Prevost with crew cab pickup in front of Prevost.

We stayed there for 27 nights and were very quiet good tenants. The last payment I called to have them authorize and they never ran the card then when I called to tell them they never ran the card and to run the full amount owed they said I am sorry but we have a tow truck on stand by and you have 30 mins until you are towed. They then made up a bunch of rules that they all of a sudden enforced.

Firstly, Reenie (sp?) is a delight and very helpful. Here are a few helpful comments: 1) the cable does not work 2) there is a lot of garbage collecting along the fence overlooking the Truckee River 3) the lights at the capsite are rather bright

I stayed at KOA Boomtown for almost 4 months and my time there was excellent! Larry the manager is very kind and helpful. The grounds are nice and well kept. I would stay there again.

Camps are too close together. Restrooms locked from 10pm to 6am regardless of security code. That was very frustrating. No TP in one bathroom for almost 2 days. Does have free shuttle to boomtown which was good.

I liked this KOA, clean, level spots, lots of nice room to roam with my pugs and free ride to the restaurant/casino which was a very nice comfort on a very cold late November evening. I also enjoyed a nice dinner then a few lucky spins on the old fashioned slot machine and I was very happy!

Larry had great customer service, made us feel welcome . He gave us important information about the area.

My stay was for 1 night while traveling through, and I was accommodated quickly. It was easy to find, and my spot was quiet and dark. My lot was level requiring nothing but hooking up. The only issue was the initial after hours check in was a bit confusing, but I managed to sort it out as there was no help available. I called the number and never got an answer. But in the end I figured it out

Great staff. Clean showers and restrooms. Check in was easy. We have stayed there in the Boomtown KOA when traveling through the Reno area since 2016.

Site was two vehicles wide and long enough for trailer and tow vehicle. Friendly helpful staff. Site required one brick side-to-side, and sloped noticably front to back. Our site had a bare dirt area that had an edge for twisting ankles. Overall, the site was reasonably well maintained, but we noticed lots of little trash items about the park. The facility has only two shower/restrooms.

Wasn't able to fully extend my only slide out. Very disappointing and inconvenient. Otherwise, it was a typical KOA parking lot setup.

My wife and I had booked it for 4 night stay but my wife had gotten ill and so we decided to go home after 3 night stay and asked if we could get a refund for the night we weren’t staying and they said no. We went anyway and we were gone by 9am that Sunday instead of Monday.

Great property. Clean office area. Very clean restrooms/showers. Cleaned after each use. Available showers after office hours are very handy. Onsite laundry. Barbecue areas on each row of RV parking spots. Excellent dumpster placements. The best of all - the KOA management and staff. Very professional, welcoming, and having a sense of humor. Checking in is effortless and more like coming home.

Very nice place. Great people & a nice spot. Only complaint is they need to level their sites.

Everything is great except for someone that's missing for clean up the park.i meant they need someone to clean the spots otherwise very quite area and friendly staff

Unlevel sites. Too short even though my profile shows our needs. Moved us to a wider site and then charged us for the move. Unprofessional and incompetent. DO NOT STAY HERE! Also not family friendly. Long term residential campground. Riff raff for sure.

Thank you Renie for the recommendation, we caught the KOA shuttle to the casino and had a great meal. Thank you Michael for driving. Made our day

I arrived about 20 minutes after office closed (due to traffic) but there was no information left for me on what spot to take which is common after hours practice for KOA reservations. Other campers had maps and spot assignments left for them. I ended up having to get their security team to come up and tell me where to park. When I told them the issue the next day - KOA dismissed my feedback.
