The camp ground has changed over the past 9 years. IT IS STILL A SAFE PLACE TO STAY. some stays I want to help out n cut the grass and do some trimming! People behind the desk are always nice. We look forward to our next stay.

Each site is a 55 foot, full service, asphalt, pull-thru site. Reno KOA at Boomtown has an incredibly helpful office manager.

Larry was incredibly helpful! We were stressed about not being able to travel west due to a snow storm as planned but Larry made our stress go away! Gave us a great spot for the night! Thank you Larry and KOA!

The check-in staff was very accommodating. We have a 43 ft Class A. Some of the sites are not very level side to side, and he happily moved us after we checked in.

Do you need a place to stay for the night? Plenty of spots open when we came in without a reservation bathrooms were big and clean. Staff was super friendly. Make sure you bring your leveling blocks.

This was our second time staying here, first time in 2021 boy how things change. New housing development right next door. Kinda sad how progress changes the view. It’s still really beautiful here. Staff is very nice but a few of the residents here aren’t. They speed through the park, they don’t pick up after their dogs and they don’t abide by quiet times. I definitely would stay here again

Very nice camp hosts. The park is clean but noisy, no cable TV and the Internet was down. I was told that they were in the progress of upgrading their systems.

This KOA is clean and felt safe the 2 nights we stayed. It is basically a parking lot with hookups. The staff is very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. The laundry facility is clean but we did not use it. Took off a star because the facility did not call us back the night we pulled in to try and find our spot. They were very accommodating when we just chose a spot and went

It was absolutely incredible. The staff was super nice. The manager goes over and beyond to accommodate you. I can’t wait to tell everybody how awesome and relaxing my stay was thank you.

We arrived late. The bathrooms were locked and we were not provided with a code. We left before the office opened in the morning. So, we were unable to use the bathroom throughout our stay. We would have been better off sleeping in a Walmart parking lot. It was a waste of money.

litter typically in campground, hookups typically damaged or worn (i.e., 30A power plug falls out), cable has never worked, wifi range is very limited.

We only stayed for one night. It’s a great location and the staff that I spoke with were very accommodating!

I was late arriving due to traffic. The office was closed but the host left me a campground map with my name on it, bathroom lock code, and the WiFi info. As well as a highlighted route to my campsite. Very nice touch. The staff was helpful and very friendly! Will definitely stay again

Quiet. Friendly. Clean. Easy in and easy out. Reliable hook-ups. Always friendly front desk personnel. Nice to see security present all day and night every day. The internet could be better. Lot #160/Row H could be made to be less wet. Snow removal could be better. Overall very pleased with our stay. Thank you! �

The stay was great. Just make sure to wrap water lines with heat tape if you are staying in the winter. The people are amazing there and the place is nice, clean and quiet.

Was here only a couple days but really enjoyed it. Aside from the casino at Boomtown there were lots of places to visit and get outdoors. This was off-season so the park was about half empty so it was very quiet (except for a big construction project next door). Would happily stay here again, staff is awesome, friendly and make you feel like family

Staff went above requirement to accomidate us, including providing us with additional infomation and assistance to assure our 95 year old mother was happy and could access her scooter and get around. Everyone there was helpful and pleasant. This was 2nd time we stayed at this KOA and will definately be back. We recommend this KOA to anyone staying in the Reno/Boomtown area or just passing through!

Nice clean spaces. Somewhat close together, somewhat unlevel. Nice, friendly people. Restrooms were clean and in great condition. Despite being close to the Interstate, it was not noisy.

We asked gor s premium site, if that site 88 was that I would hate to see standard! Plus the park was empty and they put us right next to a full timer whose area was NOT the nicest looking! I understand that they cannot control the construction next door but the should warn you on the website $160. To stay and it was a bad bad experience i fo not think I will be back.

Overall a nice campground. Bathroom/showers were a little limited in the times they were open. Wanted to buy a tank of propane at 10:00 am, but was told the propane guy wouldn't be in for at least another hour. WiFi was very slow and unreliable -- not really usable. Spot was spacious and the setting was nice.

Agree with others...its a parking lot with hookups. Lots of really large rigs here. However if you're here when it's a little less crowded you'll find it more appealing. Clean and well kept shower areas, bathrooms and a laundry facility. Lots of pets traveling along for the trip with their owners around the park. Folks walking dogs walk by often. Some follow park rules others don't. Watch where you step! Housing development just being built on the north side of the park. It won't be nearly as private soon.
