Different hours would be helpful. Should be open before 8:00, 6:30 or 7:00. Most travelers get early starts. Closing the pool and hot tub at 8:00 is to early. Sites were clean and staff helpful.

Add says shuttle to Casino. There wasn't one. Up hill walk. Kids on electric scooters racing around park. Small pool overun by kids. No security.

Nice campground. Beautiful views. Has long term campers there which is unusual for a KOA. At least they are towards the back of the campground. It was a good stay. Would recommend

Friendly staff. Good stop to be close to Lake Tahoe to take out motorcycle and go for a ride around the lake.

The park is pretty sketchy towards the back. Children were riding OHV's through the park at pretty high rate of speeds. There's an Old blonde woman on a golf cart at a minimum 40mph wearing a koa shirt. Upon departure I couldn't dump my tanks without blocking the roads so I drove to the dump area. It was locked. I asked to use it and got a lot of attitude & a "No you can't use the dump."

The staff was excellent very accommodating. However the hot tub was not open and the sewer drains were unreachable unless I drove straight in. Just a matter of old time engineering nobody's fault. All in all it was a good day and I met some nice people

Everyone was very nice, the site was clean, easy to get in and out of, and the park was very pretty. We plan on returning on our way home.

The staff was super nice upon check-in. After we parked we discovered the grass was really high around the picnic table. We asked for it to be cut down and was informed they only do yard work on Wednesday. It could have been a fire hazard. On a happy note the campground is beautiful and well kept. We would camp there again.

I stayed one night and my long term neighbor didn’t follow the 10pm quiet rule. Had to leave to another rv resort to get some sleep since I was not able to get hold of anyone to move. But Colleen took care of the reservation cost.

There was trash at our site, tall grass weeds at the picnic table, and a sprinkler came on (9:30 a.m.) when we were leaving which got our chairs and rug soaking wet minutes before we were leaving.

we were given a campsit number at registration..... after a while we left for dinner...when we returned another RV was set up in our site. No one available at the office to help

Easy check in, clean, well maintained and excellent facilities. It was probably the quietest park I've ever stayed in and it was close to everything you need.

We had a beautiful end spot with a grassy area, trees and rocks. The patio was lovely with a metal picnic table. It was quiet. We had mountain views. The bathrooms were immaculate! Our experience was fantastic!

Campground was excellent. Dining, not so much. Cafe was closed for "maintenance" and diner in casino would not break a $100 dollar bill.

Easy process to reservation, only thing that would make it better is access to restrooms after hours for new people coming in all hours of the night.

Very beautiful site overlooking river. We only spent one night, but enjoyed the view. We used no features except the hookups, but it everything worked fine. A little tricky off and back on the freeway, but we got there.

Called and made our reservation. Checked in with Ken. He was absolutely amazing. Full of information and seemed genuinely excited about us staying with him at Boomtown.

I’ve been to several koa’s and this one is simply ok. Nothing exceptional but at least clean. The store had expired items that were on sale but they tried to charge me full price. That was a bit confusing and it was a little turn off that they didn’t want to honor the sale price.

We had such a good time here. This koa is probably more for adults but there was some kid amenities like a pool and play structure. Very quiet, beautiful and clean place. The full time residents I met were very friendly and were a resource of knowledge as a first time visit to Reno. I was there 4th of July weekend and I slept through the night for the first time in 20 years on the 4th. So quiet and peaceful and my dogs were happy. Only 10 minutes from Reno Downtown action.

Very clean and well maintained RV park right outside of Reno. Casinos, restaurants and bars,are nearby too!

Nice campground. This is our first time at a Koa and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and nice. Store was clean. We were only here for one night so we didn't get to use the amenities. We were excited for the ride to the casino because we weren't unhooking. However when we called were told they were not giving rides due to staff shortage. So we had to walk up to the smaller casino, Verdi, and had dinner and walked back. It would have been nicer if there were direct paths to the casinos instead of empty overgrown land that you have to walk around making it 2xs longer, but it wasn't a bad walk. Even with our back and leg problems. We would consider staying here again. I would say 4.5 stars.
