A mixture of brief and long term residents. Some but not many shady characters. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Location is a little remote but close enough to Reno’ amenities, I will stay there again.

The facilities are always clean. The staff are professional and friendly. The daily text messages on weather, road conditions and area event are very helpful.

This is our third or fourth time staying here. We had site 124 this time and it was our favorite as it was an end site with plenty of shade most of the day. Staff is friendly. I'd like to see some of the outer lying areas cleaned up as its junky looking.

Entire staff was great. Facilities were spotless. And the groundskeepers were working very hard to keep all the green areas maintained.

We love KOA and this is the first time we’ve given a bad review. The park was remodeled, the spots are so small we couldn’t even put all our slides out. The RV next to us had their tow vehicle right next to their rig (as did everyone due to lack of room) so we couldn’t put our slide out. We paid $90 Per night to park our truck 1’ from our rig. The site was basically unusable!

The was a very disappointing stay for a KOA Journey. This was the earliest luandy cut off I have ever seen at a KOA especially a Journey designed for travelers. No laundry past 6pm makes it nearly pointless. The pool closing a 7:45 is an odd time but okay. The playground was terrible from size, and location, worst I have seen at a KOA. The sites were very cramped and only 4 fire pit sites.

Good, quiet, easy in and out. Gave us information on the local Casino that owns the KOA. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were great, pool was nice, our site was spaced out nice but was very uneven, there were a lot of assault spots but for some reason we got a not so nice spot. We needed a ride to the restaurant and the security guys picked us up and brought us back to our trailer, thanks guys. Would we come back? YES. Only I will make sure to get a better site.

The only negative is the WiFi barely works. Can’t even do email. Luckily that was not a priority for us.

Reno KOA was very clean and in a beautiful location. It was a nice jump off point for all of our day trips. Truckee, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Carson City, Virginia City, etc. Each RV site was asphalt with a patch of grass and most sites had a shade tree. Walking distance to Boomtown Casino and restaurants.Nice office staff and daily text with weather and things to do.����ϋ�

The KOA has cleaned up quite a bit in recent years. I would like to see a fenced dog area.

KOA at Boomtown is a pleasant campsite located by the Truckee River. Clean, neat and nicely organized. Would definitely stay here again.

Crowded, parking lot style camping. Also there were more people that clearly were living there, than recreational camping. It it not a good vibe for recreational RVing.

Nice campground located by the Boomtown Casino complex. Lots of choices for food. We had a nice view of the Truckee River as well.

I was pleasantly surprised, the park was really nice. There are live ins but they seem to be all in the back. If u stay here, u must visit Sasquatch tavern about a mile away. Great food and great time

Everything was great except for the sprinklers. Our spot was muddy when we arrived. The sprinklers came on when we were packing to leave. We had to close our trailer door to keep the water out.

We discovered this KOA on our way back to California from a trip to Idaho. Had a beautiful campsite overlooking the Truckee River. Easy on/off exit. We were able to walk to dinner at the steakhouse at the neighboring casino (no smoke in the restaurant!!) and watch a soccer match before returning to our campsite. Quiet spot. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Different hours would be helpful. Should be open before 8:00, 6:30 or 7:00. Most travelers get early starts. Closing the pool and hot tub at 8:00 is to early. Sites were clean and staff helpful.

Add says shuttle to Casino. There wasn't one. Up hill walk. Kids on electric scooters racing around park. Small pool overun by kids. No security.

Nice campground. Beautiful views. Has long term campers there which is unusual for a KOA. At least they are towards the back of the campground. It was a good stay. Would recommend

Friendly staff. Good stop to be close to Lake Tahoe to take out motorcycle and go for a ride around the lake.

The staff here was probably the most welcoming and friendly we experienced during our travels. They made a great first impression and were genuinely helpful. The campground itself is essentially a parking lot, and the sites are narrow and a little awkward to get into. That said, the views surrounding the campground are beautiful and definitely one of its best features. Boomtown Casino is just a walk up the hill, and the campground gave us several coupons for activities and attractions there. We didn't really use them, but they would be a great bonus for families traveling with younger kids. Overall, the sites weren't our favorite, but the incredibly welcoming staff, convenient location, and great views made for a good stop.

This was a bit crowded, but the Tall guy in the office was able to get us into a great level spot. And security even took us to the Casino! Will stay again if we're on the area!
