Lots of rules that are not enforced. People parking in the road, kids screaming and dogs barking during quiet hours. Driving fast on the roads going each way and through empty sites.

This campground is just a big parking lot. I was assigned a space in the half of the park which appears to be the side where people live permanently. Grass is all dead, sites are extremely sloped and have potholes to park in. Neighboring spaces have ramps built to doors, potted plants, makeshift patios, among other hording piles of stuff around their trailers. Way overpriced for what you get.

Had to evacuate from the fires in our community and KOA didn’t even help more of us with our rates when the rest of the hotels had their rooms for a discount price for us during this bad situation Thanks a lot for your help

The only issue was we reserved an end site and at check in we were told it wasn’t available. After we drove around to find our site we saw end sites available? We reserved an end.

The only real complaint I have is that the back in spots have no out door area , you are literally parked right beside your trailer and have room to roll out your awning and set up an outdoor sitting area

On our first day our surge protectors keeped tripping saying open ground and we had to run our generator all night with it being over 105 out side they came and tried to fix it but a few hours later the same issue. Had to pack up and move to another spot and after that no more power issues. They tried to tell me it was just our surge protector but in the end it was their power.

Beautiful view of surrounding mountains and Truckee River. Spaces are nice but not very level. Very friendly staff security was good. Nice stay.

Terrible experience. At 9 p.m., sprinklers unexpectedly turned on at our campsite while we were enjoying a campfire with our dogs. Everything was soaked within minutes, and our site appeared to be the only one affected. We were given just $9 for the inconvenience. The on-site staff were great—this is an ownership/management issue. Avoid this campground.

The pool was dirty. The employees on the golf carts drive too fast and so do the people staying there. Maybe let people know that if you put your stuff on the grass, the sprinklers do come on. Thank you

The site are very close, ours had a leaking sprinkler which attracted a multitude of bees right where the hookups were. Such a simple thing to fix! No privacy due to spacing. We would not stay again. Sorry.

It’s is a highly overpriced parking lot. The sites are over 3” out of level side to side. The pool was closed because according to the front desk the filter was installed backwards allowing the water to turn murky. The entire back of the campground is full time RVs that have junk everywhere with several vehicles per site. I would not recommend staying here not to the standards of most KOAs.

Good location, convenient proximity to casino, restaurant, gas stations, very friendly staff and service. Amenities are great, although we only spent one night so didn't use pool or laundry/showers. There are one or two rows of RV's that appear may be very long-term residents actually living in the KOA which didn't look the best, but would still stay here again in the row we were located in.

Pool was not in service. our space was very small especially when the rv next to us moved in. Also, several rvs looked to be in poor condition with a couple of tents being used. The back row looked a trailer park instead of a RV park. I would not return nor recommend this place.

We stayed in the back over looking the river. Beautiful view. There are a lot of weeds around that could be taken care of. James was great at checking us in and giving ideas to our next stay in September.

Traveling home and stopped for the night. It’s clean and they were very friendly. You can get a free ride up to the casino and restaurants. This is our second time staying here.

The campground was nice, but reason we stayed so we could walk a trail to casino. It was gravel and rough. No signs where to go and at night absolutely no lighting. Not safe at all and we are hikers! We won’t stay again. Probably good for kids they had a pool

It was easy to get in and out, and was very clean. Loved having security and being able to have our pets along with us. It was very quiet in the evenings and your store staff was very helpful and friendly. I left ly phone in the restroom and the staff was already bringing it back to me when I went back to look for it. Loved staying here and will definitely be back. 5 star rating for everything.

It is always a great place to stay! Friendly staff. Quick check-in. Great sites. Although, I have to say I was surprised to find a few sites looking so JUNKY! I was once a long term resident and never saw sites looking like that. A shame really. But despite a few junky spaces, we will be back in the future.

The staff here was probably the most welcoming and friendly we experienced during our travels. They made a great first impression and were genuinely helpful. The campground itself is essentially a parking lot, and the sites are narrow and a little awkward to get into. That said, the views surrounding the campground are beautiful and definitely one of its best features. Boomtown Casino is just a walk up the hill, and the campground gave us several coupons for activities and attractions there. We didn't really use them, but they would be a great bonus for families traveling with younger kids. Overall, the sites weren't our favorite, but the incredibly welcoming staff, convenient location, and great views made for a good stop.

This was a bit crowded, but the Tall guy in the office was able to get us into a great level spot. And security even took us to the Casino! Will stay again if we're on the area!
