What a very nice campground. From check-in and the friendly welcome to a spotless, clean swimming pool we enjoyed our stay. The text messages with a little more information about what was going on and the traffic in the area was a very nice touch. Keep up the great work.

Lovely campground convenient to Reno and Lake Tahoe attractions. The sites are nice with green grass around.picnic table..Bath rooms were clear, though only 2 are available after the office closes.

We were temporarily and urgently displaced related to a wildfire and evacuation. The staff accommodated our needs and let us renew day by day until we were able to return home. The park is clean and well maintained and the staff was professional and understanding.

Very nice people, clean park. K-9 area left a little to be desired. My dogs had more room to run in the motorhome. A few more people living there than I care to see. Would stay again.

first off the staff is excellent, and the first 4 r0ws beginning g from the north. and nice. After thst there are fulll time resident:"Low lifed" occupying the park and they give what would other wise would be a 9 to the park overall our stay was OK, but the lawn is dead, and not edged neatly there appears to br no attempt to blow the leaves away from the sites, our hook up had debre

The Hawk Fire was a very stressful time for my family. Having this KOA nearby really made this situation much more bearable. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Thank you KOA at Boomtown for making our crazy few days much more enjoyable.

Hello, are stay started out Bad the spot we had booked (last May) was being repaved along with a lot of other sites so they just puy us in any available wife was very up-set (could not sleep 1st night) The next Day I went to the office and I talked to Larry he took care of us and moved us to the site we booked. He was very, understanding he had seen our dates we booked. GREAT PERSON :)

We were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire. The KOA at Boomtown is only a few miles from us. They had a spot for us and blocked it for us and set up a day to day reservation since we had no idea when they evacuation would be lifted. It was such a relief to have a nice space for our RV and our car while waiting this out. Thanks to Colleen our Camp Host for all of her help! ��

Only one night. Arrived late but still got a good spot. Clean grounds with dumpsters and pet bags in lots of places. Real grass and level parking spaces. Security good. We will be back again.

The first site 105, was under repair, 2nd site 97 was good, liked the new pavement. Maybe trim some branches, they are starting to hang low, hit the rooftop.

Twice, we stayed twice in August and both times I requested a pull thru site upon ck in and both times we got put on the edge sites. The first time it wasn't too bad, at least the hookups were in a good spot. The second time the hook ups are right on the street and we had to park slightly in the road way to make the hook ups reach. A pull thru site across from us was empty all night. NOT OK!

Park was clean and staff was friendly. Entrance into and out of the park is tight and the road coming in is narrow. A truck was parked on the curb at exit and with a 40’ trailer, I had to ask the driver to move so that we could get out. Also, maintenance workers were using loud equipment before 7:30. I know that improvements are being made to the park, but quiet hours should apply to all

Campground was clean and well kept. There are a lot of rules and the information in emails and online all say slightly different things for rules and hours that amenities are open. Pool was closed for 2 days during our stay due to lightening in the area, didn’t see any near the campground but there were storms in Reno. Again, lots and lots of rules so be sure you read through all of them.

Very nice level shady spots. Easy access to I80 and to the Casino and restaurants at Boomtown. The only negative comment I have is that there are only two restrooms. They are very nice if you are wanting to shower. They are big and private. But, if you just need to use the restroom, and they are occupied because someone is taking a shower, you have wait a long while to use the restroom.

The staff here was probably the most welcoming and friendly we experienced during our travels. They made a great first impression and were genuinely helpful. The campground itself is essentially a parking lot, and the sites are narrow and a little awkward to get into. That said, the views surrounding the campground are beautiful and definitely one of its best features. Boomtown Casino is just a walk up the hill, and the campground gave us several coupons for activities and attractions there. We didn't really use them, but they would be a great bonus for families traveling with younger kids. Overall, the sites weren't our favorite, but the incredibly welcoming staff, convenient location, and great views made for a good stop.

This was a bit crowded, but the Tall guy in the office was able to get us into a great level spot. And security even took us to the Casino! Will stay again if we're on the area!
