My stay was for 1 night while traveling through, and I was accommodated quickly. It was easy to find, and my spot was quiet and dark. My lot was level requiring nothing but hooking up. The only issue was the initial after hours check in was a bit confusing,but I managed to sort it out as there was no help available. I called the number and never got an answer. But in the end I figured it out

Great staff. Clean showers and restrooms. Check in was easy. We have stayed there in the Boomtown KOA when traveling through the Reno area since 2016.

Site was two vehicles wide and long enough for trailer and tow vehicle. Friendly helpful staff. Site required one brick side-to-side, and sloped noticably front to back. Our site had a bare dirt area that had an edge for twisting ankles. Overall, the site was reasonably well maintained, but we noticed lots of little trash items about the park. The facility has only two shower/restrooms.

Wasn't able to fully extend my only slide out. Very disappointing and inconvenient. Otherwise, it was a typical KOA parking lot setup.

My wife and I had booked it for 4 night stay but my wife had gotten ill and so we decided to go home after 3 night stay and asked if we could get a refund for the night we weren’t staying and they said no. We went anyway and we were gone by 9am that Sunday instead of Monday.

Great property. Clean office area. Very clean restrooms/showers. Cleaned after each use. Available showers after office hours are very handy. Onsite laundry. Barbecue areas on each row of RV parking spots. Excellent dumpster placements. The best of all - the KOA management and staff. Very professional, welcoming, and having a sense of humor. Checking in is effortless and more like coming home.

Everything is great except for someone that's missing for clean up the park.i meant they need someone to clean the spots otherwise very quite area and friendly staff

Unlevel sites. Too short even though my profile shows our needs. Moved us to a wider site and then charged us for the move. Unprofessional and incompetent. DO NOT STAY HERE! Also not family friendly. Long term residential campground. Riff raff for sure.

I arrived about 20 minutes after office closed (due to traffic) but there was no information left for me on what spot to take which is common after hours practice for KOA reservations. Other campers had maps and spot assignments left for them. I ended up having to get their security team to come up and tell me where to park. When I told them the issue the next day - KOA dismissed my feedback.

This was a stop off to visit our daughter and family in Reno. It was nice and convenient, not far from town. The private shower room was great.

KOA at Boomtown is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly, the campground offers a clean quiet campsite. We spent 2 nights there. The location was good for the touring we did and it was nice to walk up to the Casino and restaurant.

The park is nice. The bathroom/shower-rooms were Awesome. Each bathroom/shower-room was spacious and had a door that actually locked. Very clean! The laundry facilities were great also 5 washers and dryers and they all worked. Tables to fold clothes on. Everyone in the office was so friendly and helpful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Camp was in a beautiful setting. Walked around the park a lot with the dog. A lot of sites were not very level and I would have had difficulty leveling my 38'class a in most of them. First sight we were given was by a long term stayer who had so much stuff around that we could not fit in the space next to them. Sites were narrow. Not the best KOA we have stayed at.

This is a great place to stay, with nice facilities and decent sized spaces. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Wonderful overnight stay at Boomtown KOA. We were only here for a stopover but the park is clean, staff is great. The only negative is that the residents speed through the park.

Overall a pretty nice campground. Office hours were pretty limited this season, but it worked out fine for us. Showers were clean. Sites a little run down but we had a nice stay.

The staff was fantastic. Unfortunately there was a concert near by that wa extremely loud and the train running through honking all night long makes for a rough night.

Took three different spots to clean power. Limited number of bathrooms. All the nice paved spots sit empty while us and others had to use the uneven spots (site 120). This could be a nice KOA with the casino so close but it appears to be very poorly managed.

I get you have to have folks that are there long term, to remain in business, but the fact that they all seem to drive like idiots throughout the park is annoying, I am one of those that likes to get a few steps in, but had to keep my head on a swivel

We stay here as to break up our trip in and out of California. The facilities are clean. They offer car service to and from the casino. The Steakhouse has always been great for a nice dinner. We don't gamble so can not speak to that. Staff always pleasant and helpful

We only spent the night traveling through, but it have wonderful staff and clean grounds. Would definitely stay there again.

While the park is mostly OK, we encountered two issues. The toilets were not accessible from 10 pm to 6 am. Entering the given code would cause the lock to briefly flash a green light then lock back up, The wifi was totally useless. We could connect about one try in ten. A connection would only last for a few seconds to a couple of minutes. The throughput was on par with old 2400 baud modem days.

Couple nights while we explored the area. Very nice facilities. Easy to get to just watch the signs. Whole little entertainment area right there. Casino and family entertainment as well.

Odd sizes for pull through spots. lengths/widths varied widely from too cramped to much more space than needed.

Renie, at the desk, was very sweet, friendly and helpful. Very welcoming, even though she was swamped with checkins. Too bad, campers don't pick up after their dogs....other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Stayed at the koa this last weekend and just wanted to say they have the cleanest bathrooms that I have ever been in at a campground in my life thanks for the great work
