Very clean campground, pleasant staff. Would have given a higher rating except that the bathrooms are closed from 10 pm to 6 am. Otherwise no complaints.

We just got back from other RV parks in Butte, Pocatello and Winnemucca and Reno was by fare better.

This campground is easy access from the freeway, close to fuel and restaurants, and very quiet. There is a large number of pull-through and back-in sites. Sites are on asphalt and level. The restrooms & showers are updated and kept very clean by the staff. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. The BEST part was the friendly and helpful staff. There is nothing better than a big smile every day.

We were disappointed the hot tub didn’t have enough water and wasn’t hot, but things happen. Over all, it’s a nice quiet park.

Sites are a little narrow, such that there is little room between the power pedestal and tree with an RV with slides. We couldn't open an awning because of the proximity of the trees. The repaving is nice, but the grass needs to be improved. Quite a few full timers in the park changes the vibe a bit.

This is the first KOA I have felt unsafe walking my dog at night. One perimeter had some very sketchy full time residents. The dog park is at the side of the KOA by what looked like a dump (probably a workshop) and the entrance was partially blocked by a truck. The lock on the dogpark was broken. What looked like person who was a druggie was pacing just outside the dog park. Trash behind my site.

Three nights and loved all the new up grades. We were there when it first open and all asphalt with baby trees. We will be back in the future.

the staff was great. had a bit of an accident with our dolly and they all came running to help. the only bad thing was how uneven the space was. very hard to get the motor home even.

We asked for a different spot but were told it was reserved, no one ever used it, meanwhile we had no bbq out, no grassy area. The hot tub was out of order during the stay and pool out of order for most of it. Never offered a discount or rebate although other campers were given one and coupons for boomtown casino and used their pool. Laundry was good, park maintained, but coast a lot for no pool.

The bathrooms were closed from 10pm to 6am this made it difficult if Mother Nature called during these times. I’ve never been to a campsite where the bathroom closes. I believe since we are paying guests with a bathroom code that the bathrooms should be open 24/7. Also there should be bathroom stalls separate from the showers for those people that just need to use the toilet.

When strived at 9:00 pm my space to marked as 113 well went over to the area that this spot was block by two cars in the next spot . Plus this 113 and 114were curved which ever hard to get my over 30 to bend to get in the spot. Well , I decided to go back to the office and see if any other spots would work again the spot was curved. So I went to the office to get the number of the emer night cler.

Only 4 restrooms available when the office is open, 2 after that. I know my family isn't the only one out there that prefers not to use our camper for #2's. Check in was quick, but not friendly. Many people staying were long term residents.

The park is nice and well kept. Site was roomy. Staff friendly and helpful. Good security presence. Pool clean and comfortable temperature. Not given 5-star rating because site not level requiring use of leveling blocks, showers/restrooms often closed, hot tub closed part of time, pool furniture needs to be washed off regularly because of bird droppings.

The description was “big beautiful sites, landscaped grounds”. This could not be further from the truth! While some had grass the majority had dirt! We had the tightest site and had to park part way in the road to use our pull outs! No table! I took pictures for my google review! Cable did not work and we were told all the staff was gone at 2pm. Thank god we were just stopping for one night on

Had a great stay for one day. The Boomtown provided shuttle service that came and picked you up from your lot to the casino or eatery nearby. Quiet and very convenient to the highway. Very friendly staff but I suggest having a guide to the lot since it was a bit confusing. The backend lots had 2 lines or maybe redo the line. Will stay again.

Only 2 toilets/ 2 showers in whole camp. Open @ 6am, but went to use bathroom/shower @ 7:40am & they were just being cleaned then. Why would you not clean before opening rather than when it’s open for use? Toilet was full of poo stains, no toilet paper. Sprinklers came on at 8:30am, when brochure says “wee hours of the morning”. Restrooms were spotless and private. The staff were helpful and friendly. My only concern was there was trash around the campsites. We came on a Sunday evening so it could have been because the weekend.

We've stayed at the Boomtown KOA multiple times. This is a convenient location for a much-needed rest on our way home to the Elko area after visiting family in CA.

good morning. 1. the two shower/bathrooms that are available to paid guests, via a keypad given at check in should be open 24/7 (closed for cleaning signs posted when cleaning) as closing them overnight, makes it hard on guest coming in late or early risers utilize that service. maybe even have a port-a-potty available. site paving - great idea, - let guest know they will not be pulling through

Unfortunately, it was extremely windy. We weren’t able to enjoy the facility. Also, the dog park area could use some improvement. Half the fence line in the dog park area were actually too low. Some dogs could jump out and escape.

The sites are not made for today’s RV with pop outs. Parking lanes are very narrow. Our driver side pop out came within an inch of the electrical box requiring power to be hooked up before extending. Given our “full time” neighbor had his dog cage enclosure at the edge of their site there was no room to walk around. Those with 5th wheels had to park their trucks on the street portion.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We did have an electrical problem with the pedestal and were moved, thank you. Maybe it’s the environment there, just not as upbeat as we’ve experienced in our recent travels. Not sure how that could be remedied.

Nice campground and friendly staff. No luck whatsoever at the casino, but that’s a different story. I would recommend Boomtown KOA and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the koa this last weekend and just wanted to say they have the cleanest bathrooms that I have ever been in at a campground in my life thanks for the great work
