We stayed to visit friends and the National & State Parks. Very convenient location to do it all. Bathrooms were clean and the laundry room worked well. Site was a good size. The site was fairly level. You may need a long tank hose depending on how you setup. Park was quiet.

Conveniently located, helpful staff Utility hook-up and sewer dumps are at the very back of sights except for premium sites, make it hard to keep toad connected unless you have very very long cords/hoses/sewer pipes

The campground was quiet. It rained a lot and it was muddy. The spaces was not long and wide enough for a 39 feet RV with slide outs

Outstanding campground. We stayed 5 nights and had a great stay. Campground was easy driving to Mt Rushmore, Custer, Crazy Horse and the Badlands plus Downtown Rapid City. Nice pool and level sites.

Convenient location for exploring Mount Rushmore, black hills and badlands. Park was well organized, bathrooms and showers clean. The new office/store/bath house will be awesome. Rapid City is up and coming with great restaurants and bars. Airport close for rental cars and they have a couple cars to rent at the campground.

The pull through site that we were at was basically setup for a fifth wheel. We are a Class A so we had to detach our towable to get positioned correctly. The whole point of reserving a pull thru was so we wouldn’t have to detach as we were only staying one night. The laundry facility was good but could use an update. I was surprised by the pet fee, we had never been charged one at any other KOA

Three nights on the tail end of a 3 month journey. Terrible weather so we stayed put but were very comfortable. Did laundry, etc. There is much improvement since our last stay there in 2019, now that it is a “KOA Holiday.” New construction is ongoing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will return during the summer.

The spot that we had was great. The laundry room was clean and all of the machines worked. The staff in the office were helpful and friendly. The construction of the new office created a muddy situation around the office.

Staff was very accommodating with a last minute add on to our stay. Kampground was clean and well set up. Very convenient to local attractions - - - only err we could comment on is that GOOGLE kept taking us to a closed gate to get into the campground after our outings = HAHAHA

Made a reservation with a dog included, had to pay another fee at arrival for my dog. This ain’t the first KOA to do this but very deceiving when reservations are made. I will think twice before using KOA if this is there practice.

Initial check in wasn't as frendly as one would expect. We were 40 min early to check in and she seemed to be annoyed. Charged me $15.00 for early check in! When I went back to the website it did say no early check in, which I might have understood but no one was even close to our appointed site and with the cold welcome it just seems uninviting. Campsite was very nice!

Friendly staff nice facilities and no trash cans in our section except using the dumpster. Our site #76 overlooked the road below but the traffic didn’t bother us. We had a nice table and chairs and a fire pit. Like most KOA the price is a bit more but they are generally well maintained.

Stayed overnight. The site was a nice size. The facilities were great. I would recommend a stronger exhaust fan in the showers, but it had nice water pressure and the shower area was clean and well maintained.

We only had a 1 night reservation; however, due to weather/wind, it really was unsafe to travel. Theresa at the office was so helpful and we were able to keep our current site an additional night allowing us to ride out the wind. So grateful!

Due to high winds and road closures we had to stay another night here. I call the office and within 2 minutes they were able to help us out. We sat in the RV most of the day due to 30-60 wind gust. Final around dinner time we open the door for a walk. We stop by the office and talked to the staff for about 30 minutes. Great park and wonderful staff!!!

Nice campground.. a little tight and with the new construction and the dump station in the middle of the place, it was difficult to get around. Perhaps after the construction of the new clubhouse the campground will be easier to navigate.

Beautiful Campground! They do have some construction going on but they have kept everything going perfectly. Awesome area to visit there is so much to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hope to come back someday. Kim Roberts

OMG...this place is a palace. Brand new restrooms and showers and a wonderful view of the mountains in the morning. There are plenty of grocery stores near by and the campground was silent after 8pm. These types of KOAs make exploring America great again

Just built a new Store & Office with shower/bath both upstairs & down that are like a mini spa! Staff at the campground are very helpful. From 7-10am they did a breakfast downstairs that hit the spot.
