I very much liked the deluxe cabin, but with no linens/towels provided, it was not exactly "deluxe". With only 2 of these cabins at your KOA, can't you at least provide kitchen towels? We did not really mind the lack of bedding, but the sofa bed was just a bare mattress. A bottom sheet would have been nice. No bathmat meant water all over the floor, since we only brought one towel each.

Very clean and easy to navigate. Bathroom didn’t meet my cleanliness expectations. Very comfy stay. Queen bed was squeaky. Spendy firewood but overall a great place!

We loved the cabins, the pool and the pancake breakfast! We stayed 2 days. However, we did NOT like the fact that when my husband left his wallet at the campground that we could get NO response from the front desk nor the "emergency" manager's phone when we left 4 messages. Really? You couldn't call back and tell us that if someone turned in the wallet, you would be aware?

Cleanliness and friendliness are so important and this this gave them a top rating. We also enjoyed the great gift shop and all you can eat pancake breakfast. Very easy access to the interstate as well

The reason that I am giving this KOA a 4 this time, is because we were in a cabin, and in the cabin next to us, there were people with 4 kids. They allowed their kids to ride their bikes & play on our site. They also let their kids ride their bikes into the pavilion when people were eating. They also broke the hydrangea bush in front of our cabin. However, the staff were friendly.

People with campers are probably fine but the sleeper cabin was not great. The “beds” were pathetic and in no way should pass as beds for grown adults. I came home in excruciating back pain after a few nights. The bathrooms/showers were dirty/not ventilated. The pool is not kept up well or checked daily. There were three dead mice in the filter mid day, wasn’t closed to be cleaned during/aft

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Were told to bring linens and bath,pool towels. We had no blankets, hand towels, pillows! I even emailed before asking what we would need to bring. Would have been nice to know. Other than that, it was great! Cabin was comfortable and cool!

People at the front desk were always friendly, the cabin was clean as were the washrooms and showers. I would stay here again.

Staff were friendly. Showers were dirty. Urinals in men’s restroom did not flush properly and one of the toilets had a broken seat the whole time we were there. Doesn’t appear that maintenance issues are a high priority; otherwise, it’s a nice campground.

The folks in Rapid City were phenomenal! We enjoyed our stay very much! the little store had great take away gifts for family. Super helpful during our stay. Cabin was exactly as we had hoped - clean and close to the bathroom (which were also clean!! )

Extremely well kept campground. The staff are very friendly. The campground is situated in site of the Badlands. Only problem I had, and it was put of KOA's hands, were the bugs. Bring bug spray.

Excellent stay from arrival to check out! Fabulous staff and accommodations. I’m spoiled now after staying in Rapid City! I was so impressed with this KOA location I purchased the annual rewards program. Wish ALL of the KOAs operated to this standard! Gold star and bravo to the management and staff at this location!

It was a nice clean KOA. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. And the pancake guy was a bright spot each morning. Only issue was we had to struggle with the cabin door lock every time.

The man who made the pancakes and served the watermelon was so great! Definitely the best person on the staff, he was so friendly and welcoming. Great pancakes and he even made a special mickey one for my daughter which she loved so much!! The deluxe cabin was nice and clean as well; we stayed back in 2020 and I'm sure we will be back again. Thanks!

Cabin was cute and comfortable-we loved the porch swing. Layout of camp and facilities was great! Everything was clean, great playgrounds and pool for kids. Pancake breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. We loved it!

The director recognized a couple reservations coming from the same area and reached out to us asking if we all wanted to be together? As best they could, our cabins were kept as a group so the silts and kids both had more fun!

The stay, though brief, was perfect for an overnight and so much more affordable than my favorite hotels during tourist season. Breakfast at this KOA was better than any I’ve experienced along my travels. Staff were accommodating, and the pancake chef was funny & great with all the kids.

When I went to bed, I could feel movement within the mattress. Mice feces in the pull out sofa. Called the afterhour line & was told they were unable to do anything about it. Since my children were already asleep, I stayed but did not sleep. Next day, my wife told the staff about it again, no resolution. I went in & emphasized that there is something in the mattress. Eventually was given a refund.

Cabin was nice and roomy, but very far from the bathroom. (Especially with young kids) Nice shower set up, nice bathroom. However, very dirty and smelly when we were there. They only clean in the afternoon, could have used more attention at peak usage times. Great breakfast, nice staff, good laundry. Kids loved the pool.

Great stay overall. Staff was friendly, cabin had heat and AC, cabins were private and campground was quiet. Cute playground and large dog area and pool. No soap in the bathroom, but the bathroom was clean. Individual shower stalls were appreciated.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.
