Great stay overall. Staff was friendly, cabin had heat and AC, cabins were private and campground was quiet. Cute playground and large dog area and pool. No soap in the bathroom, but the bathroom was clean. Individual shower stalls were appreciated.

Price was good, campground was beautiful for being inside a big city. I really enjoyed the small cabin. Had everything I needed and was very cozy. Restrooms were okay, but the showers were definitely lacking. Unclean and not very nice like I would expect at a KOA. Other than that, would have been 5 stars.

The deluxe cabin was great, we highly recommended the place and would gladly stay again in the summer time when everything would be available.

Over all stay wasn't bad. We did have something stolen from our cabin site while we were gone sight seeing one day.

I was there for just one night but they put me in a cabin that I could park a car with a trailer which allowed me to not unhook or park away from the cabin area. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Our cabin was amazing. So so so cute. Loved everything about your KOA palace. Wish pool was open. It would have been great to jump in , weather was perfect for some pool time. Ee's were great, kind, helpfully. Laundry and bathrooms always clean. 3rd time there. No complaints. Thank you.

We had a 6 x 12 trailer that fit next to our cabin and was made to take it to the parking area by maintenance. It fit perfectly next to our cabin and should not have been made to unhook it. I do not feel like it was safe because yor facility was very overcrowded. Not much security I am unimpressed with your facility and will not recommend it

Stay was great everything was pretty good too many people packing in the hot tub not willing to share it with other guests would be my only downfall of our stay but we loved it there and we're definitely going to come back next year probably get a nicer cabin

We stayed in a cabin. The beds were pretty comfortable considering it was just a basic set up. I wished the Hot Tub would have been open a tad later for adults to enjoy after the kids were off to bed. I have kids too, but had a sore back that could have used a soaking. Lol! Great location. Easy check in and out.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean, comfortable and had a great air conditioner. The pool, hottub and patio area were great for kids and adults. Very nice tables, chairs and lounges at pool seemed new! The BEES were awful. It was hard to eat and sit outside. At least 5 in our group were stung. Pancake Breakfast prices were high.

I stayed in a small cabin. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the grounds were well kept.

The cabin was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and amenities were nice. I was disappointed that we had wasp hives on our cabin and had over 20 wasps or more swarming when tryimg to cook or be outside the cabin. I let them know and matinence came and removed hives bit didn't help. He sprayed fly spray amd said thats all he had. We bought wasp spray and made due but was not solved.

The staff is amazing, housekeeping girls need some training or someone checking on them. Everything else was great and we'll definitely stay again and recommend staying.

I told the girl in the front desk that I'd be out of the cabin before 11 a.m., which I did and I was out in the yard rearranging my belongings in the car and I returned the key about 11:15 a.m. I found out that I was charged $10 late fee and I talked to the manager. She said I was supposed to return the key and leave the ground by 11 a.m. Even hotels/motels are not such strict. BAD STAY!!

I love the Rapid City KOA, we stay every summer. Wish you hadn’t taken the trash bins out of the showers and the stairs from the office to the breakfast area is in need of repair. The skid strips are gone, the paint is peeled off and they are slippery when wet.

We had a great experience again! The camp site was clean, the cabin was in great shape. It was very organized and clean! We’re so glad we stumbled on the KOA option a couple of years ago. We look forward to staying at several KOA ‘s for several more years.

Overall, great KOA. The showers were not very clean. One shower looked like it has dried blood in the shower floor. It was there several days.

Enjoyed the pool and cabin. Restrooms seemed to be out of paper towels often and garbage full and over flowing. Showers were also dirty and needed to be cleaned more often. Have stayed several other times and this year seemed not to be kept as clean as in past years.

Bathroom very clean and well lit. Had small playground for kids and even a fun train for children. Great amenities. Great staff. Pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. Really well managed KOA. They also had nice food options as well.

I very much liked the deluxe cabin, but with no linens/towels provided, it was not exactly "deluxe". With only 2 of these cabins at your KOA, can't you at least provide kitchen towels? We did not really mind the lack of bedding, but the sofa bed was just a bare mattress. A bottom sheet would have been nice. No bathmat meant water all over the floor, since we only brought one towel each.

I really liked our stay here. The KOA is conveniently located to Rapid City downtown, Mount Rushmore, etc. Our site was long with concrete pad, tables/chairs, and grass! Probably one of the best sites we have had as we didn't have neighbors on one side which meant more grass! Very conveniently located. Friendly staff. Laundry on site is convenient. I will definitely stay here again.
