My site 184 needs to be leveled and add gravel. The shower that I used has a broken handle to turn the water on the off. It actually fell off onto the floor. Also,. You cannot read the time on dryers in the laundry, which was very annoying.

We arrived with intention of staying in a tent. Do to the weather, we decided on a small cabin. It was so cute and cozy. The bathrooms were clean, although very cold on the brisk mornings. It was so quiet throughout the campground and the staff were very helpful and so friendly. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Everything was great! From Wi-Fi to facility to peace and quiet. We enjoyed the location to Rapid City food and coffee. For exploring the Black Hills this is a great spot to stay.

Lousiest park on a 3-month RV trip. Arrived 10am willing to pay $15 early arrival fee. Asked kindly if it was really an inconvenience and if they would waive the fee. Surprised with her attitude - demeaning and condescending - we were an inconvenience to her. Paid our balance, feeling very unwelcome. Tight site with our table only a foot from the neighbor sewer drain. Bath house was quite cold.

We would have liked if they would patrol the areas better for trash and dog ma manure. It was quite and the showers and laundry were very clean. It was a nice and friendly stay. Just lots of dog poop that customers didn't pick up.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained. It is pre-season so not terribly busy. This is my three year and I was able to snag a pull through. The view of the hills was gorgeous. Table, swivel chairs, and bench with fire pit was nice. Very convenient location. Because it's in town it was a bit noisy with traffic & sirens but that is too be expected.

Great location, super clean private bathrooms, friendly staff, and great store! I bought several cute items. The private baths are literally amazing. Will come again if passing through this area!

Super friendly staff, beautiful park. Most of the cabins have a tulip gardens, several rv sites have BIG concrete pads and ALL have heavy-duty patio furniture, including a viewing beach. Two laundry rooms, and the BIGGEST store/gift shop I’ve ever seen at an RV park. We’re coming back in August and staying on a site that looks out over the city. Thank you Rapid City KOA!

Great location. 30 min from Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hill City, & Sylvan Lake. New Market, bathrooms & laundry facility as of Mar 2026. Came in the off season. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hookups were great

Everything was extremely nice and clean and the park is very dog friendly, which is important to us as we travel with two fur babies. Location is great with easy access to anything you could ask for.

The folks running this campground were super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were brand new and spotless. We had a winter experience so most of the recreational amenities were understandably not open. Highly recommend.

Nov. 10th and they had all hookup sites available. There is a huge office area and in the future will be serving pancake breakfast. The couple that checked us in was very friendly .

Nice end spot, pull through with lots of room. Hours of office limited as its "off season" and there is construction in the campground but we had a very nice stay.

We stayed one more night so we could take a shower and do our laundry which was open when we got there and the facilities were closed down. No communication.

We were in and out just one night. Not a chance to check out the facilities at all. Very easy to get to, very easy to get in, and very easy to get out. Lady at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful.

Even though your KOA was in the middle of a million updates, you found room for us. What you're doing is fantastic. Looking forward to stopping to see when the project is done. The bathrooms and facilities are top notch. Grass...lots of grassy areas and the view of the mountains are great. Great staff.

Our rating of 3 is based on terrible weather conditions, Lots of rain and the clay based dirt created lots of sticky clay and puddles made a mess. One could ask why were there puddles on level (?) lots. On more than one occasion employees were not adhering to the 10 mph limit tenants were ask to maintain. Office help was great, lots of smiles and assistance.

Good location , laundry but no big machines, private showers. They need grass in the dog park all black dirt and there is NO LIGHT in or over dog park can't see The gate latch is broken just held by piece of chain which does the job I guess. Looks like they have gotten some new things so one day at a time Would stay here again Make sure and get a spot n the back The front seems like a gravel parking lot next to a business ?!

We are on our way to visit some Northern States National Parks. On our way to Mt Rushmore we stayed at this location. What a fantastic site. It is well maintained. The check in person was so helpful - she helped carry a bundle of wood to our car. We also saw other employees guide others to their sites. They all seem to be professional and friendly. The bathrooms are super clean! The store is well stocked. The only bad is a bit of noise from traffic and occasionally helicopters. Glad we stayed here.

Ladies, if I say nothing else about this place let me tell you the showers are heated, huge, clean and loads of hot water!! I have never stayed ANYWHERE with facilities as nice as these. It was windy, cold, and rainy when we were here so I have no idea about the rest of the place since we mostly just stayed in. But on a day like today those showers rocked
