We had a great experience again! The camp site was clean, the cabin was in great shape. It was very organized and clean! We’re so glad we stumbled on the KOA option a couple of years ago. We look forward to staying at several KOA ‘s for several more years.

It was the first time ever staying at a KOA and it was fantastic!!! It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

Overall, great KOA. The showers were not very clean. One shower looked like it has dried blood in the shower floor. It was there several days.

Enjoyed the pool and cabin. Restrooms seemed to be out of paper towels often and garbage full and over flowing. Showers were also dirty and needed to be cleaned more often. Have stayed several other times and this year seemed not to be kept as clean as in past years.

We didn’t realize KOAs had such small sites and probably won’t be staying at another one after this. The different activities each night were nice and the pool and hot tub. Also, if you have a broken change machine, maybe consider having change at the park store so your visitors aren’t having to drive around town to different banks or stores to get some.

One of the friendliest KOAs. We tow a vehicle, but offering a car rental was a first! The sites were clean and well groomed. My only suggestion would be to have a couple chairs outside the main laundromat as it was quiet warm inside and lots of flies inside since the doors were propped open and no ac on.

We’ve stayed here 2 times summer 2023. 1st near the beginning of a month long trip, 2nd time near the end of the trip (during Sturgis). We tent/car camp. Plenty of space to spread out. Showers are individual-locking rooms… no worry about peepers or sticky fingers. A definite place to find comfort, quiet and relaxation.

Bathroom very clean and well lit. Had small playground for kids and even a fun train for children. Great amenities. Great staff. Pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. Really well managed KOA. They also had nice food options as well.

We had a last minute travel change and they were able to get us a site! We did have to change sites for the second night but it was super super easy and Shannon the manager was amazing!!!

Very nice RV park with clean amenities. Laundry room was good and even provided an ironing board. 5 star stay!

Absolutely cannot check in until 1:00 because "we have to clean up the site and mow." There was no grass to mow, and cleaning up is next to nothing in a campground. �� Also, for the price, I expect paved roads and concrete sites.

The staff were perfect and the sites were level and clean. The bathrooms and showers were clean and roomy. All in all this was an excellent stay and we will stay again and recommend to anyone traveling that way!!!

I very much liked the deluxe cabin, but with no linens/towels provided, it was not exactly "deluxe". With only 2 of these cabins at your KOA, can't you at least provide kitchen towels? We did not really mind the lack of bedding, but the sofa bed was just a bare mattress. A bottom sheet would have been nice. No bathmat meant water all over the floor, since we only brought one towel each.

Very clean and easy to navigate. Bathroom didn’t meet my cleanliness expectations. Very comfy stay. Queen bed was squeaky. Spendy firewood but overall a great place!

We paid a fortune to get the nicest patio site but it was weedy and uninviting. It was also difficult for a big rig to get into and out of the area.

We have stayed here for the past three years and have had different experiences each time. First time was during covid and nothing was open. Second time was the best with the new pool. This past time was just okay. People in the office weren't overly friendly or helpful, pool water could have been a lot clearer, and people would not stop walking through our site. Wish it would have been better.

This my favorite KOA. It is soo well run and maintained. Great pull thru sites, pool is great, laundry is clean and like new, and my favorite is daily breakfast pancakes eggs bacon orange juice. All well don, great job rapid city KOA

The guy parked next to us obviously lives there as the ground was covered in beer caps and the fire pit was loaded with cigarette butts. The bathrooms and showers are super small. Other than this it was a pleasant stay and I was able to sleep thru he night.

All the xtras are awesome. Ice cream, pancakes, train rides. Park cleanliness is outstanding, just need some upgrade to the showers.

Rapid City KOA is a very clean campground. The staff gave us a warm greeting, taking us to our assigned lot. The campsite was level and easily accommodated our 5th wheel. They have a nightly watermelon get together for the campers that was well received.

We loved the cabins, the pool and the pancake breakfast! We stayed 2 days. However, we did NOT like the fact that when my husband left his wallet at the campground that we could get NO response from the front desk nor the "emergency" manager's phone when we left 4 messages. Really? You couldn't call back and tell us that if someone turned in the wallet, you would be aware?

Poor Management and Maintenance! 4 dead mice in pool filters along with candy wrappers and clogged with other debris. Garage overflowing and bags being left next to dumpster. Talked with manager who stared blankly and didn't even get up from her desk to act on issues. Do not stay here!

Cleanliness and friendliness are so important and this this gave them a top rating. We also enjoyed the great gift shop and all you can eat pancake breakfast. Very easy access to the interstate as well

The park is very well maintained and customer friendly with watermelon tasting one nite and wine tasting another. We were on the front site ,and Friday nite the Blackhills Raceway motors were pretty loud. The sewer connection for our RV was near the street and our 40' connection was too short since we tried to put our 5th wheel so that we were on the paved patio when we stepped out, possibly our problem but didn't expect it to be so far away. It is a nice park and is handy for our travel to Rushmore, etc.

Well situated park that fully deserves its awards. Lots are level, park is well maintained with a ton of amenities. They even have breakfast, which we quite enjoyed, and have never before seen at an RV park.
