Shower Facilities were not very clean! There 3 days and a soap dispenser never got refilled. Our site was poorly designed as septic near road so pull thru I had to disconnect my car trailer and put in front so RV could reach the septic. Upon checking the KOA employee was not very friendly. We will not be back.

The electrical needs some we work. Our site had sparks and power surges all night long. Once the construction is complete, it will look really nice. I’m not a huge fan of the small spaces, but they are maintained

As I walked in to register, a woman yelled at me "NO DOGS ALLOWED!" It stopped me in my tracks. I'd read this site was dog-friendly and I'd spent extra for her. I'd driven 6 hrs, it was a hot day so I was tired, and I could not leave my 15-lb dog in the car down the lane. I finally got registered but found my kabin was about 90 degrees. No AC for another 5 hours until fixed. Won't be back!

Great pool. Tent site was really awkward and not great but was a place to stay on our drive.

My cabin was very clean. The swimming pool was awesome. It took me a little while(probably longer than it should have)to figure out that to open the cabin I had to turn the key and then use the rope to unlatch the door. My only suggestion would be to explain how to open the door at check in.

Stay was very good except for so many potholes in the roads. Very bumpy going and coming. Sites were nice and some shade where we were.

Staff was lazy and said lightning strikes were 10 mi away but they were 12 there was 25 min left before close that my kids could have swam but didn’t get too. Sad

We were asked not to put out our rug but there was no grass, just mud. The sewer was uphill from the parking spot so it was a bit of an issue to empty the tanks. Also, the laundry room closest to the pool needs attention as there are 5 washers with 3 large dryers, which I can appreciate however only one dryer worked. The bottom left runs cold + top right dryer coin slot is jammed. No bill changer.

No mention in any of the emails about needed all bedding for beds as well as pillows. And also needing all bath towels. This should be very clear in the emails sent out. Also had several maintenance issues, clogged shower, broken toilet and A/C that quit working our last night. Also was never noted anywhere that the cabin sat in a constitution zone. Very noisy and got woke up every morning by it.

The park was nice enough and most of the people were very friendly. BUT the lady that checked me in was somewhat rude. We are retired and try to keep our travel days around 200 miles. I didn’t realize we were crossing a time zone so we ended up arriving 30 minutes before check in. I was told I had to either wait or pay $15. Have checked in early at many KOA’s and early check in was never an is

Sites were small mine specifically was right next to an unfenced basketball court where we got hit multiple times by balls in our tent and our vehicle was hit full adults not just children and teens walking directly through our site and our site was directly next to construction. Staff extremely rude kicked me out and called police on us while we were at Rushmore because I left an honest review.

Clean campground with level site. They have some construction going on for a new main building but it didn’t really hamper check-in or getting into the campground. They have fun activities going on at the park— s’mores on the night we were there. We were only stopping for the night but we enjoyed our stay.

We usually stay at this park when we visit Rapid City. It is convenient to downtown with lots of options for sites. Next time we will definitely choose one of the sites with concrete pull throughs and patio furniture, as the gravel sites tend to get a bit muddy when it rains. Which it often does there in the summer.

Park is upgrading the facility resulting in construction noise and a huge amount of mud to go thru getting to our site. Restrooms and showers were clean. When construction is finished shoild be a better park.

Everything was great, the weather was misty and cool, would have been nice to be able to open the windows for air circulation, screens needed to be fixed. Parking in our cabin area was small and could use some gravel to help with the mud. Otherwise, a good stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I wish either more shade trees or an umbrella was available to rent during our stay. Even with the awnings out the sun was too hot to enjoy the upgraded patio until the sun set in the evenings. The laundry was clean and machines were in proper working order.

Great pool and hot tub area! The new main lodge is going to be beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very quiet park with easy access from highway.

This was a nice campground. Clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay. The one thing I didn't like was that our spot was very muddy. It could definitely use some gravel.

We stayed for two nights in a single room cabin and had a great time! The place was so cozy and the AC was amazing to battle the heat. The swimming pool was great and the showers were great to have there. Can't wait to plan our fall cabin adventure!

The whole park could use some gravel to help oth the mud. Bathrooms were very old. Nothing great about it.

I would not recommend staying here. Grounds were nice and had full h/u's. As soon as we walked in the door only 7 minutes early to check-in we were greeted by a woman who immediately got snippy and said "you have 7 minutes until you can check-in". No hi, hello or welcome to Rapid City KOA. She was immediately aggressive and made us wait in the small store. Staff around the park were also rude

Was first put in a location next to the construction. After walking around and seeing how pretty other areas of the park were, I went back and asked to be moved and the staff did so with no issue. Stay was great. Thanks

I was a walk in and they had a site available for 2 nights, unfortunately, if you get there early, they charge $15's to get a site before 1pm. I've been to a lot of KOA's early without this extra fee. Sites are tight, I had to back out to leave so I wouldn't scrape the side of my unit with a tree. You are required to go drive through construction to get to your unit, only 1 way in.

Sites are spacious, well laid-out, and amenities nice. On the downside, when it rained, many of the access roads were very messy, perhaps add more gravel.

OMG...this place is a palace. Brand new restrooms and showers and a wonderful view of the mountains in the morning. There are plenty of grocery stores near by and the campground was silent after 8pm. These types of KOAs make exploring America great again

Just built a new Store & Office with shower/bath both upstairs & down that are like a mini spa! Staff at the campground are very helpful. From 7-10am they did a breakfast downstairs that hit the spot.
