It's a really nice KOA. Not hard to get to from the North. It can be challenging coming from the South just because of the tunnel. We are not members and I'm not sure if that is the reason we never get a site with a tree? We took a month long trip and stayed at 3 different KOA's. I guess in hindsight it would have been better to buy a membership. Will that get me a site with a tree?

When turning and attempting to plug in our surge protector. i am bent over and bam right there at my feet is a HUGE Tarantula. Looking up at me, and not moving. after catching my composure, I go on, get going. Tarantula turns and walks away. Holy Crap!

I was welcomed by a friendly staff and helped getting parked. Only issue is the short shower timer. My wife is disabled and usually needs more than 7 minutes. Otherwise the shower rooms are the best I’ve seen at a camp ground.

Very clean camp sites & bathrooms. Nice to be offered a meal available for purchase & delivered to your site at a reasonable cost. A little too close to the freeway to not have noise. Otherwise very nice. Very friendly staff as well.

Great couple night stay, kids stuff to do, dogs had plenty of places to check their pee-mail, Its right off the highway near train tracks as alot are. Windows closed ac on, we definitely sleep well. The staff is pleasant and they off delicious pizza, on site and will bring it to your RV, and charge you card on file if you want! Very convenient out in the desert.

Beautiful facilities. However, once again there r no firepits. I'm sure it has a lot to do with geographics and elevated risks.

I had to walk down a dark dirt road to get to the dog park. I couldn’t find it, so I walked all the way back towards our campsite and I saw a nice gentleman and he showed us where it was. There are so many other places in this park to put another dog park. It was very scary. Please consider putting one in the Koa.

Very friendly the moment we checked in. They actually rearranged our spot so we had more shade. Bathrooms are very well taken care of and clean! The pool was great for the kids and the pizza was good!

The facility was very nice. However getting access to the facility is not easy. Seems the Colorado DOT thinks all of the underpasses need to be a tunnel with clearance of 13’3” and fairly narrow. Driving a 44’ motor home with toad was hard to get lined up due to the tight access turn. We drove 7 miles north before we found a turnaround. The whole experience was a bit trying!

Well maintained grounds, nice sized sites but the trees need trimming. The tree on our site was mashed against our slide and roof. Next time I’d ask for a site without a tree. The campground is Dog friendly with a large dog park and walking path.

The lots were level and long. Showers and bathrooms were always cleaned and stocked. The pool was clean and warm. A very pleasureable experience.

The highway is a little noisy at times; however, the friendly staff and cleanliness of the facilities make up for it. The people here are some of the best we have met on the road.

This KOA was perfect for our family. We had a playground right next to our cabin and we ordered pizza at the office and they delivered it to our cabin. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was equipped with everything we needed for the night. Shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, bedding, towels, and EVEN COFFEE!!! Oh and they even had a TV🤯 We love KOA's and this one is right off the highway (not much noise though) convenient location for long distance car travels. We will stay here again.

All staff very helpful and friendly. Restrooms and laundry room extra clean. Entire campground cleaned daily. Site plenty long, but not much room between sites. 2 playgrounds and swimming pool. Dog park all dirt and a little out of the way. Trash picked up at your site.

After getting caught in a massive thunder storm south of pueblo it was a joy to get here. First caution. When going through the one way tunnel turn right almost immediately on the frontage road, not the interstate off ramp. If you miss it you will go about 3 miles to be able to turn around. That said, once you get it here it is a great rv park. Like most Koa it is close quarters but laid out very well the bonus feature here is an house pizzeria here with salads and chicken wings available. We ordered the pizza, it was delivered to ur RV and it was hot and fresh, not a digiorno. The salads were crisp and very large. We will return here. Andvon top of that the entire staff was friendly and upbeat.
