I wanted a different spot than the one assigned. There were plenty of available sites. However, the office was not staffed. Nobody working at 3:pm?? That is ridiculous.

I came in late, but my envelope was clearly visible and I found my spot easily and got plugged in for electric. The weather was not cooperative, but someone came out in the rain to help me get into the washroom. The building was very clean and inviting. I slept well in my camper van, with heavy rain and chilly temperatures outside, but a nice warm electric heater to keep me warm.

This was our second time staying here. It is conveniently located between Wasilla and Palmer. Very clean, great customer service. There is a bit of road noise.

These people are 'EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING' we had to change our site and cut our stay short and they handled it perfectly. Very nice and clean, shower facilties. Excellent KOA, we will be back!!!!

We reserved online after hours. The thing I don’t like about KOA campgrounds, is that they do not give you the # for the spot you pay for. So we showed up and luckily it was late in the season so not many of the spots were reserved. Sent a message for the spot #. No response. The office was closed and no one to help. We picked a spot & not kicked out mid night. This campground has a great layout

Nice campground. Not scenic but clean and convenient. Staff was excellent and price was reasonable for the season mid September. I would stay there again.

I enjoy the park layout & that they accommodate late evening arrivals, & are very responsive to requests. Onsite propane refill & dump station are some big reasons we keep returning. I don't think there is a potable water refill station for folks that just opt for just the 30 AMP hook up spaces only, so adding a water refill station for us to use on our way out would be my only suggestion. Thanks!

Nice quiet campground to stay near anchorage. This campground is converted from a pvt camp. It is small and close to the highway.

I stayed at this KOA on three occasions over a three week visit to the area. The campground is immaculate and the bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities were exceptionally clean and fully functional. I all so made use of their on-site temporary storage. And the staff - outstanding folks. I highly recommend this KOA.

Spot clean bathroom and shower room. We really enjoyed the showers. Full hook ups, propane, fresh water. The wind at night during our stay was crazy.

It looked like some recent renovations have been done in the bath/shower house and I would like to make some recommendations. Previously there were benches in the main area when you first go in which was nice for setting your toiletry bag and towels on. Motion detecting faucets have been installed for the sinks, I prefer a faucet where I can pick to have cold or hot water or adjust the temperature

I booked online. The woman I spoke to told me our papers would be outside the office when we arrived (after their office closed). The site they gave us was occupied. We called the number but were unable to reach anyone. We left a message and waited for a return call. No one called back. In the AM they called and said a mgr would call us. Mgr didn’t. No refund, discount or apology, bad servi

Nicely kept facilities (bathrooms/showers) appear to be brand new. Good sized sites; and level! Grounds were nicely kept. Good location just outside Palmer. Easy access.

Very pleasant and industrious staff. Clean, organized, convenient location. Would like to see a “family” full bathroom I.e. one that is larger for ease of movement so that parents with a toddler could utilize; a bathroom that elderly could have spouse/partner there to assist with bathing or toileting.

Would have been a 5. The mens shower and rest room; (1) no lights in the camode stalls; (2) no hot water at the sinks; (3) shower stalls were to small and not well lit

Well maintained and quiet campground. Showers were clean. Only gripe is the shared water between some of the sites and power every other camp site. If you don’t bring extensions for power you might not be able to reach and if you both are trying to use water at the same time you may not have enough water pressure for anything. Would go back but will be picky about site selection.

Helpful reception. Enjoyed the free HOT showers and the chance dump and refill our tanks before heading to dry camping at state parks! PS laundry was perfect too!

Our family needed a campground with amenities to use as a base camp so we could visit and enjoy the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, Alaska. It was so convenient to be so close to the fairgrounds while still being far enough away that we could go to our pristine and quiet campsite to get a much-earned night's sleep. This was a great weekend for our family and we will definitely come again!

This was one of our favorite stays on our long journey through Alaska. We drive a 38’ motor coach and the sites were spacious - side to side and front to back. But best of all- it was beautiful with thick grass and no mud!! There are large open spaces with lots of room for the kids and pets to run. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this campground.

Our stay was only for one night and our family enjoyed the accommodations. The grandkids had a ball at the playground. The park was well taken care of and convenient to the highway. During our travels elsewhere we count on KOA and this new campground didn't disappoint.

This is one of the nicest KOAs I have camped at. I read some really negative reviews of this place before it became a KOA, but clearly whoever purchased it for the KOA franchise has made some very nice improvements. We camped on site 26. The electric pedestal was in good working order. The bathrooms were recently tastefully updated and the showers were clean. The laundry room was also clean and the staff was attentive to an issue with one washing machine. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They offer a dump station and propane as well as a large covered pavilion (which allows campers to be outside but under cover on the many rainy days Alaska has).The location is near the highway and was a bit noisy, but the flip side of location is that it is very convenient to Palmer and Wasilla and is great for folks who want to get on the road to another destination without driving through a lot of traffic lights in town. It is also very near a hospital, should an emergent situation arise. I highly recommend this KOA for upholding the standards we expect in a KOA.

Stayed for 3 weeks and would definitely stay there again. The park is very nicely maintained. The showers, bathrooms, and laundry are very clean!! Lots of grass for the fur babies & a nice play area for the kiddos. The Koa workers are always out working and making improvements . Thanks , Ginger, James & Allison and the lady that drives the tractor like she stole it!! ( sorry! Didn't get her name but she did a great job ) for making our stay pleasant!!!
