Great area for a stay! Mountains in all directions! Updated and clean bathrooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Even helped us to plan when we return in a month with visiting daughter and grandson. The covered outside area looks so inviting for cooking out and sitting to finish the day. Thank you and see you in a month!

Jamie was wonderful from the moment we arrived! The campground was clean and well laid out with all the hookup's we needed! An easy location for getting around! We stayed for 3 nights this trip while on our way home, but are planning to be back at this park for a much longer stay for sure! Everyone was so nice to deal with!! Thank you!!

Very clean & welcoming! Bedding was provided as well as extra towels. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Would stay here again!

The highway noise is ever-present. It was a bit hard to find (Apple maps took us on a bit of an adventure in the opposite direction). Many guests don’t bother cleaning up after their pets. Other than those, perfectly workable. Staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Such a beautiful Campground!! The hook ups were very nice....some of the nicest I've ever seen at an RV Park. Jaimie, was so very nice and helpful with information about the KOA park. The main office is a beautiful log cabin with neat souvenirs. I can't wait to be able to come back again and hopefully, stay longer the next time. Thanks for the awesome hospitality Jaimie!! Tommy

Very nice bathrooms, quiet, has everything you need right on site (firepit, picnic table, hookups, dumpstation if you pay extra, and if you don't want to pay extra there is a dump station for all available). Right off the hwy and nothing to do nearby, no trails or interesting things around. We had fun though, just stayed in our camper and did some puzzling and reading.

Nice and clean! Several options for rv, cottages, it tents and the rates were very reasonable for Alaska. Great to see a KOA in this area.

The campground host was very nice. The restrooms were clean and warm. The trash can was accessible easily. Only thing I noticed that was not positive was the campers would leave their fires unattended. I think you should have a sign that states very clearly you should put out your fire and not leave it unattended. Otherwise you had a great day and Jamie was very nice. Thank you Eric

To many campers that live there permanently that don't clean around their area so those camping for a weekend have to deal with their mess.

Checking in was easy, camp spots were easy to find. Full hook ups was a plus. The facilities like bathroom, shower room and laundry were exceptionally clean. Kids have plenty of room to play perks for a playground.

This is a good campground. I have stayed here many times before it was KOA. Easy to park and the spots are not too close together. I visited in the off season which meant there was no staff for assistance. We were greeted by loose dogs and a lot of waste not disposed of properly. I would recommend during the off season check the space.

I wanted a different spot than the one assigned. There were plenty of available sites. However, the office was not staffed. Nobody working at 3:pm?? That is ridiculous.

I came in late, but my envelope was clearly visible and I found my spot easily and got plugged in for electric. The weather was not cooperative, but someone came out in the rain to help me get into the washroom. The building was very clean and inviting. I slept well in my camper van, with heavy rain and chilly temperatures outside, but a nice warm electric heater to keep me warm.

This was our second time staying here. It is conveniently located between Wasilla and Palmer. Very clean, great customer service. There is a bit of road noise.

These people are 'EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING' we had to change our site and cut our stay short and they handled it perfectly. Very nice and clean, shower facilties. Excellent KOA, we will be back!!!!

We reserved online after hours. The thing I don’t like about KOA campgrounds, is that they do not give you the # for the spot you pay for. So we showed up and luckily it was late in the season so not many of the spots were reserved. Sent a message for the spot #. No response. The office was closed and no one to help. We picked a spot & not kicked out mid night. This campground has a great layout

I enjoy the park layout & that they accommodate late evening arrivals, & are very responsive to requests. Onsite propane refill & dump station are some big reasons we keep returning. I don't think there is a potable water refill station for folks that just opt for just the 30 AMP hook up spaces only, so adding a water refill station for us to use on our way out would be my only suggestion. Thanks!

Nice quiet campground to stay near anchorage. This campground is converted from a pvt camp. It is small and close to the highway.

I stayed at this KOA on three occasions over a three week visit to the area. The campground is immaculate and the bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities were exceptionally clean and fully functional. I all so made use of their on-site temporary storage. And the staff - outstanding folks. I highly recommend this KOA.

It looked like some recent renovations have been done in the bath/shower house and I would like to make some recommendations. Previously there were benches in the main area when you first go in which was nice for setting your toiletry bag and towels on. Motion detecting faucets have been installed for the sinks, I prefer a faucet where I can pick to have cold or hot water or adjust the temperature

A 5 night stay and chose no water hook up to save some on the bill. Staff friendly and helpful to say that restrooms and potable freezing cold delicious water were just steps away from our site. We are returning in June and love the updated bathrooms and central outside space! Yes, we hear some vehicle noise, but looking at the snow covered mountains makes that tiny negative go right away. Thanks so much- see you next month! For us, the Wifi worked great!

Lots are spacious, the managers have been good to work with. My only issue is they don't allow you to use the restrooms and showers in the winter time.

This is one of the nicest KOAs I have camped at. I read some really negative reviews of this place before it became a KOA, but clearly whoever purchased it for the KOA franchise has made some very nice improvements. We camped on site 26. The electric pedestal was in good working order. The bathrooms were recently tastefully updated and the showers were clean. The laundry room was also clean and the staff was attentive to an issue with one washing machine. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They offer a dump station and propane as well as a large covered pavilion (which allows campers to be outside but under cover on the many rainy days Alaska has).The location is near the highway and was a bit noisy, but the flip side of location is that it is very convenient to Palmer and Wasilla and is great for folks who want to get on the road to another destination without driving through a lot of traffic lights in town. It is also very near a hospital, should an emergent situation arise. I highly recommend this KOA for upholding the standards we expect in a KOA.
