It was ok- just very pricey for a basic hookup of power, water and sewage. Showers were hot with enough water. The campground was quiet and clean.

Sites on the pull thru side could be better, lots of fine silt and gravel, worse when it’s rainy. Laundry room has one chair to sit in, needs more and also more of the washers to work. Showers and bathroom were great!

Nice park. Easy access. Very clean looking. Bathrooms were super nice. Good shower pressure. Only thing I might mention is the pet pin could use a little attention. Other than that fantastic stay thank you very much.

It was a beautiful park, clean bathroom, shower stalls, well-maintained. We had the full service hook ups for our RV. Absolutely love the idea. I just wish we had a better reason to come and stay there rather than medical issues will definitely be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Palmer/Anchorage KOA. Sites were a good size, lots of grass, bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. Propane refill on site was also super convenient!

I stayed there from July 5th, to July 31st, 2024. I was very impressed with the staff, the cleanliness of everything. If I had a complaint, it would be that it was a little high priced, other than that I would recommend it to any who would care to listen

Staff were friendly, quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. We needed to have some repairs done on our RV, and had to change our departure dates, as well as leave time. They were very understanding and went above & beyond to provide great service and affordability for us. The campground was quiet with very little road noise. Our best stay ever at a KOA (campers for 24 yrs. +).

Big gravel parking lot with a bit grass between sites. We were placed at very end of the campground next so some long term residents (had bit of trailer park Charme). Nearby freeway was noticeable all the time. Showers were renovated and clean, but not all had bench or something to put your stuff onto. Three out of six washing machines were out of our. $70 without sewer (just water and power)

Best - was close to an uncrowned Walmart Supercenter. Could stock up before heading out!!!

The staff is wonderful!! They are there with smiles to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our sites were pretty level and spacious by Alaska standards. The laundry room was kept up and clean. This was our second stay at this location. If we are ever I. Alaska again we would come back.

Pot holes in the drive through out the park. Water pressure low and wifi was weak. Wash machines were expensive but 2 out of six were broken, how ever the laundry room was clean. The staff was very pleasant and friendly.

Great location for our trip. Staff was great. Laundry had issues, probably could use an update on the washers. If you stay here, request one of the campsites farthest away from the road as there is quite a bit of traffic noise on the front side.

Clerk ,in office , figured out how to change my last name on my KOA account. I had asked several people at the KOA offices to help me change it. She was very helpful and friendly.

this is a nice campground, recently converted to a KOA. They are making improvements, and it looks like more to come. There is plenty of space between sites, navigation within the park is good. Wish they had a good size dog park though.

Not enough space to explain why I will never return to this KOA and recommend that everyone else avoid it unless you are willing to put up with the cranky, condescending woman in the office when you check in. If you want details on my experience, check out my review on Google.

The KOA in Palmer, Alaska illegally towed my truck and travel trailer without giving me 48 hour notice. I left my credit card on file to charge me for any additional nights required. I told the KOA on July 19 I was coming to pick up my vehicles in the evening. They refused to stop tow truck when there was still time to cancel. Tow company said had they know ai was coming they would not have towed

Of the many campgrounds we used in Alaska this trip, this facility is the best we stayed. Very nice facility.

Palmer/Anchorage KOA staff were very helpful. RV sites are well-maintained and pleasant to use.

Most of the washers in the laundry room were broken and the WiFi was nonexistent-performance was unusable. In the plus side, showers were clean and water was hot

I showed up 1 hour & 15 minutes before check in time. I asked if my site was available, the answer was yes”but it will cost you $20 to check in now”. I asked why and was told I might plug in and use electricity. Really!! It was a rainy nasty day but We had to go sit at a Walmart & wait the 75 minutes. Also the laundry had 4 of the 7 washers out of order.

This is one of the nicest KOAs I have camped at. I read some really negative reviews of this place before it became a KOA, but clearly whoever purchased it for the KOA franchise has made some very nice improvements. We camped on site 26. The electric pedestal was in good working order. The bathrooms were recently tastefully updated and the showers were clean. The laundry room was also clean and the staff was attentive to an issue with one washing machine. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They offer a dump station and propane as well as a large covered pavilion (which allows campers to be outside but under cover on the many rainy days Alaska has).The location is near the highway and was a bit noisy, but the flip side of location is that it is very convenient to Palmer and Wasilla and is great for folks who want to get on the road to another destination without driving through a lot of traffic lights in town. It is also very near a hospital, should an emergent situation arise. I highly recommend this KOA for upholding the standards we expect in a KOA.

Stayed for 3 weeks and would definitely stay there again. The park is very nicely maintained. The showers, bathrooms, and laundry are very clean!! Lots of grass for the fur babies & a nice play area for the kiddos. The Koa workers are always out working and making improvements . Thanks , Ginger, James & Allison and the lady that drives the tractor like she stole it!! ( sorry! Didn't get her name but she did a great job ) for making our stay pleasant!!!
