Soo Line Trail / Onamia KOA Reviews

Our stay was fine. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the campground is just sitting in a field. Granted it is right next to Soo Line trail so maybe that wouldn't matter if you come to ride the trails. I have also never stayed at a KOA before so maybe they are all this way. I was just expecting some trees or something.The staff was friendly and helpful. Good experience.

Facilities were very clean and well kept. Love that we had access to the utv trail directly from the campground.

Beautiful place near Mille Lacs Lake. Great for fishing and boating.

New owners only had it for 6 weeks. Supper nice people. They have plans for the campground. As of now there is no shade at all. Very buggy. Deer flys were terrible. No pool. Nice level lots. Lots of grass. No shade in dog park. Sooline trail right at park. If pressed for a place to stay overnight it's ok. We were there for week.

We’re there four nights and put over 300 miles onto the trails. The koa was very clean. Workers are very friendly and helpful.

Overall loved our stay. Great accomodations and friendly staff. On our last day, we got a flat tire on our boat trailer. Mack offered us the use of their heavy duty jack and lug wrench since mine was too small to lift the trailer. Definitely saved the day for us. We'll definitely be back.

This was a great stop with friendly mgmt. well cared for property. Would love to see more trees or privacy between spaces but sites were nice and level. WiFi didn’t quite reach us though. We loved the two person shower inside, it was perfect to families with little kids, best shower in all of our stops!!

Barking dogs No trees so no shade Old showers with poor drainage and no mats Might as well stayed at a state park for half the cost

Very clean and quiet campground. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Had some issues with the new to us travel trailer we were using and they came out and helped us fix the problems. Very thankful! Will definitely be back and already told our camping friends about this place!

What a WONDERFUL campground! Owners on site, very hospitable, immaculate grounds and perfect grass, everything is in like new condition. The bathrooms and laundry are amazing. There is a trail that connects to the campground and we used it to scooter to town where we hit the post office, dollar general and local watering hole! Thoroughly enjoyed this visit to the Onamia KOA, 5 stars! -Rob Rogers

Very enjoyable.

Was told different information at check in vs. Online info. Was given a spot near where I chose as a "comp" privilege. Only 2 sites available for grandfathered in MOR/TRA members, not full hook up. A 5 year agreement is in place. The campground itself was clean and the new owner was nice. Trail entrance needs a bit of TLC. Protecting the sand pipers nests was nice.

This KOA is under new management and they are doing a nice job of campground maintenance. They are updating the facilities and adding amenties. The campground and bathrooms were very clean. Work has been done to level out the camp sites. Campground is directly on the Soo-Line trail making it convenient for biking or ATV activities. Able to bike or ATV into Onamia or Waukhon. Owners are welcoming.

New owners were great, everything was so clean.

We were in the process of closing on our home at end of the week; only got to sleep there. Sorry we missed your Halloween fun!!

The campground was very well maintained, and the sites are large. The staff was amazing! We booked for next year!
