The WiFi was very unstable. Upgrade it if you are making this available to your guests. The staff on the other hand was great. Everyone was nice and accommodating.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Please let us know when on site if wifi is being slow as we have high-speed throughout the entire campground that is streamable. There are wifi boosters throughout the park and 2 of them within 50ft of your site.

Wow this Journey is every bit as nice as the KOA Holiday I'm at currently. Tri Trails KOA really is the best in the Midwest! It's clean with the best showers and bathrooms I've seen. The spots are beautiful with the nicest patios and Paw Pens of the 4 KOAs I've stayed at this spring. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Lots of greenery and trees; it's just beautiful. Really well cared-for.

Enjoyed a quick overnight stay but would have been very nice if we had more nights and less rain. We had the patio and paw pen site. Was very private with a dividing fence and spaces very wide and level. Laundry room came in handy for a quick load of wet dog towels.

We booked on the road as we approached and they advised us of a Tornado Watch for the area, including the campground. As a retired county emergency manager, I was impressed with their emergency plan and how well they communicated it (electronically as we were arriving after the office was closed), and liked the after-hours check-in process. Great site.

On late arrival we had the problem that there are two KOA campgrounds at Ogallala and we entered the wrong. A resident told us about that, no one was answering telephone calls. Maybe it would be easier if at both sites there was a hint about it. We ended up at the right place and everything was as usual at KOA sites: Late arrival perfect prepared, we exactly knew where to go and how to connect.

We absolutely loved our stay! The campsites with the Paw Pens and privacy fences were absolutely amazing, the BBQ was clean and ready to use! We couldn’t believe how nice they were, well worth the extra money! We loved the showers, hands down the BEST showers in any campground I’ve ever been to. The staff is very courteous and helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Well taken care of facility with friendly owners/staff. Far enough off the interstate and other busy roads to allow for a quiet nights sleep. Would definitely stay again when passing through the area.

Small simple little campground. Great staff, excellent bathroom and shower. Could use better stock in their store and maybe a cabin or two. Great Paw Pens with privacy fences. Quiet and peaceful place to stay.

The bathrooms were clean and the shower stalls large which was GREAT. The campground was well maintained and the pull through sites were spacious. This is a wonderful KOA campground.

This is a very nice RV park. We stopped to and from visiting family for a night. We're trying to think of other things to do in the area now that we know that there is a nice RV park within a 4hr drive for a quick getaway. After hours walk in check in was easy. Bathrooms/showers good. Sites all rock but level. Glad we found this KOA for our I80 travels!

Very nice KOA. Well kept and clean. Close to everything and far enough off the interstate that you don’t hear the road noise. Exactly what a KOA Journey should be.

Exceptional KOA! Check in was quick! Our campsite was very nice with plenty of room. This KOA is also far enough from the interstate to be quiet but close to shopping and eateries! We will definitely be back!

It was early in the season (April 11-12) so campground was slow but they did a great job of spreading the campers out. Even so, the campsites are larger and you aren't squeezed in tight like so many campgrounds.

We stayed for an over night on our cross country travels and appreciated the quiet location just a bit back from the freeway. Excellent service, friendly hosts.

We were really impressed with this campground. Check in was quick and easy. The lady at the office was very pleasant and friendly. A young gentleman lead us to our site. The campground is very well maintained and the landscaping is immaculate. The antique wagons and farm implements are an added bonus to the landscaping. Our site was level and water, electric and sewer connections were very conveniently located. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to any friends and family who would be passing through the area.

Bathrooms clean and shower great. Quiet. Dog Park very nice. Has laundry facility well maintained. Resturants and grocery stores close by. It is a campground.
