Very nice RV Park. We had a gated dog pen and patio. Great spot, lots of room, a fence between spots and a fire pit. Pretty and well maintained.

We always enjoy our time of stay here. It has become a regular overnight stop on our way home from visiting our family in Montana. It is clean and well-maintained. Staff are professional, friendly and patient.

We stayed overnight on our way to Kansas. Our site was lovely with a patio, gas barbecue, and patio furniture. Staff are attentive and friendly.

We had reserved a campsite with a patio area. The patio area was all disheveled. Chairs were all scattered and there were leaves all over the patio area. For $100 per night, I expect it to be clean. Over by the bathrooms it looked like they weed eated the grass, but never bothered to clean the sidewalks. Overall, it just seemed like the campground was way behind on keeping up with maintenance.

I am so sorry that this was your experience I know you came in right after back to back storms but this is not an acceptable or a normal experience and we are sorry and hope you do give us another chance to make this right!

We booked to arrive around 7 pm on a 100 degrees Friday evening. We were exhausted from our travel and the kids were ready for a dip in the pool, but it was closed. I was told it closed at 7 pm this time of year. All the other koa we stayed at closed at 10 pm. We will never return to ogallala/trails again.

We apologize that this was your experience. Our pool was closed the night you stayed due to equipment failure. Typically the pool does close when the office closes. Please call prior to making a reservation if you are planning on using the pool and the office can give you the pool hours.

We only stayed overnight but we got there before 1 and office was closed. Had to wait and we had a site in the middle with no trees. Campsite was gravel and a little uneven. We ate at margaritas and it was good. We drove out to the lake to but since we are not from there we paid $14 to go into park.

Stay was great, although the entire area is gravel, I also paid extra for a Pup Pen and would not do that in the future if the weather is hot, as we just did not use it due to a lack of shade. Staff was very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again for quick overnights. Location is very close to I80.

Highly recommend staying here! There was severe weather for our stay and we got multiple messages letting us know the weather was headed our way and the couple running the campground came to check on us first thing in the morning. The campground itself was very clean and perfectly laid out.

We had RV mechanical issues, and the staff was great about moving our reservation to a large easy-access site that our mobile RV repair people could easily get to and work from. Also, the bathrooms, showers, and laundry room were incredibly clean.

Very nice site. Has laundry, bathrooms/showers, a pool and kids playground. I have stayed here twice in the past year. The internet is fantastic and handled streaming with no issues. Store has necessities.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. A lady lost her key fob and the young man working there weed eater the dog park to help find her key fob. A couple of campers helped with the search and we found them in the dumpster in a box she must’ve dropped her key fob when she threw her coffee cup away. Restrooms and showers were very clean. We went sightseeing and enjoyed everything we did!

This koa has very VERY level and mostly long sites. Well maintained. I appreciated that when the severe warning came, not only did they text me but also sent someone to my rv to make sure I knew where the shelter was! There are two koa off the same exit so type the address specifically, they send you a text about that as well. The Walmart is less than 5 min. I enjoyed my stay here.

Always clean and easy to get into and out of. Some don't like the gravel base, but for us... when it rains there is nothing that leaves our trailer cleaner than that. It's a great stopping point whether we are heading east or heading west. This was our second stop at Ogallala and we will probably be back.

The WiFi was very unstable. Upgrade it if you are making this available to your guests. The staff on the other hand was great. Everyone was nice and accommodating.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Please let us know when on site if wifi is being slow as we have high-speed throughout the entire campground that is streamable. There are wifi boosters throughout the park and 2 of them within 50ft of your site.

Wow this Journey is every bit as nice as the KOA Holiday I'm at currently. Tri Trails KOA really is the best in the Midwest! It's clean with the best showers and bathrooms I've seen. The spots are beautiful with the nicest patios and Paw Pens of the 4 KOAs I've stayed at this spring. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Lots of greenery and trees; it's just beautiful. Really well cared-for.

We were really impressed with this campground. Check in was quick and easy. The lady at the office was very pleasant and friendly. A young gentleman lead us to our site. The campground is very well maintained and the landscaping is immaculate. The antique wagons and farm implements are an added bonus to the landscaping. Our site was level and water, electric and sewer connections were very conveniently located. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to any friends and family who would be passing through the area.

Bathrooms clean and shower great. Quiet. Dog Park very nice. Has laundry facility well maintained. Resturants and grocery stores close by. It is a campground.
