We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tri-Trails KOA! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how welcoming, friendly, and accommodating the camp hosts was. The campground is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and has a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Everything was clean and well cared for, making our stay enjoyable.

This is a campground that is well organized and on top of things. Well positioned away from freeway and quiet w some trees. Ogallala had a nice lake (McConaughey).

Make sure you request a back site. And I wish they had the pool open. But otherwise, a very pleasant place, well located and very friendly staff. And brand new, well maintained bathrooms.

The campground was nicely maintained and quite. The bathrooms were newly remodel and clean. The host was friendly and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We will stay here again.

Friendly staff and very clean. We were disappointed that the pool was not available. It was listed as having a pool.

Thank you for highlighting our friendly staff and clean facilities. We want to clarify that our current website accurately states the pool is permanently closed. It is still listed in the KOA directory, but that guide was printed in 2025 before the pool closed in 2026. Please come again!

The campground advertises having a pool, but it has been out of service for quite a while, and they have no intention in fixing it. They should update their advertising to reflect the truth. One of the main reasons we booked that campground was for the pool.

We understand your frustration. When you booked in March, we planned to open the pool, but unexpected repairs forced a permanent closure which the website reflects. Please let us know about any issues while on property so we can address them in person, as we desire to give you a 5-star stay.

The staff are courteous and the campground is well kept. While we were looking forward to the swimming pool, having stayed at this campground numerous times before, we certainly understand the exorbitant cost of getting it repaired! The bathrooms are extremely clean. I noticed a number of poor reviews because of bathrooms that are not air conditioned and I person feel that is extremely unfair.

New looking patios, great patio furniture, wonderful staff very nice. We only stayed one night but if we wanted to stay longer, we wouldn’t… their pool is broken - CLOSED indefinitely) there were a lot of black ants on the patio and around our campsite. Other than that it was kept up nicely bathrooms/showers were clean.

Exceptionally clean and well cared for. The pool being out of commission was disappointing, especially as I was trying to stay at a place with a pool.

The only complaint I have is that we arrived 10 minutes early and we were not allowed to check in until 1:00. The camp host opened the office door and told us we would have to wait until 1:00 to check in. We sat outside in the heat and 10 minutes later at 1:00 the camp host opened the door for check in.

Thank you for your feedback. Our website and confirmation emails do state our 5 PM closing time and that we have no pool on site. We maintain these hours due to being short-staffed and apologize that you missed out on ice cream after dinner. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

Wonderful campground! We will definitely stay here again! Easy and convenient check-in, clean restrooms and showers. Hot water is always available, and the restrooms and showers are open 24/7. Electricity and water hookups are also available at the campsite. We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend! The only downside we noticed was the lack of a coin change machine. The washers and dryers only accept quarters, and not everyone travels with coins. So, if you're planning to stay here and use the laundry facilities, make sure to bring some quarters with you! We would also like to suggest that the campground owners install a bill-to-coin change machine. It would make things much easier for guests and make an already great campground even better:)

We liked the escort to our site. It was a nice, level gravel site with a KOA stamped concrete patio and nice table, chairs, a gas grill that we thoroughly enjoyed. They also have PawPet fenced options for some. We only stayed one night, and appreciated not digging out our gas grill. We did laundry right away and found the laundry room very clean and mostly in good shape.The washers are in excellent shape, water temp.was good. One dryer by the door has been abused by customers-it had a hole-y lint collector and didn't seem to dry well. That one and the dryer near by both got very hot on perm press setting, but we were able to check it out and change the setting. It would be great to know how long the dryers run on a cycle. The cost was very reasonable -$2 wash, $2 dry.

Not the most scenic koa out there but it's got all the necessary amenities and a very friendly staff. I had a tent site here not long ago and me and the pups were very happy with it. Also, if you buy firewood there, they'll bring it straight to your site which is nice.
