We only stayed for one night but the park was very nice and quiet. The owners were very accommodating and helpful.

We so enjoy this particular KOA due to the quiet area. It has that out in the country feel. My wife found that the restrooms and laundry facilities were clean and well kept. We will return again and again.

Really nice staff but we absolutely weren’t happy about being charged 75$ to park in a parking lot with NO actual “campsite” amenities. After a long day on the road, we look forward to a nice spot to sit outside, enjoy a fire, etc. This was like sleeping at a quiet rest stop which we’d never do plus we got charged 75$. The end site with grass, fire pit, etc was only $67! Won’t return

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have portable fire pits upon request that are FREE to use. We also have a pool, laundry facility, very clean restroom facilities and an office full of good camping goodies.

Very nice place to stay. Very accommodating. Only downfall are the thistles and weeds need to be cleaned out and replaced with grass.

From reception to departure and in between, a friendly, personable, professional, and very helpful staff. Grounds well kept and very clean. Bottom line, a well run KOA. We will be back

All KOA's should be modeled after Ogallala! Be campgrounds and amenities I've ever seen. Barek checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this KOA to anyone and everyone.

Very peaceful and clean setting. Enjoyed our 1 night stay. Only issue, the gravel site needed to be compacted better, our automatic levelers sank 4 inches before hitting solid ground other than that, it was a great stay, Also, your service personnel were top notch.

Two night stay in a class A motor home, towing a car. Big space, lots of room. Level, good hookups and some shade. Over all an enjoyable experience.

Great for an overnight or a couple of nights to chill out. Ogallala doesn't offer much to do or see, at least from our experience. If you need internet that was great.

We booked a patio site to spoil ourselves for a night and then it ended up raining. Bummer. This KOA is well loved. Very clean bathroom and showers with warm water. The kids enjoyed the playground. We only had one night as this was a stop over on the way to Colorado but we would stop here again. The site was level and clean. Overall, great campground!

First of all, being handed a card stating that we should give this campground the best rating is very aggravating. The rating should be based on the merits of the campground and the staff. We were placed right next to the road, when asked if we could be moved, we were told "oh the road is not that busy" We had to listen to farm equipment and large trucks during our stay.

Great place, near the freeway. Grounds well kept, folks very helpful and friendly. Has a fenced dog park. We would stay here again.

Wonderful restrooms(large showers and dressing rooms), very clean, and friendly staff. Only issue. They charged a $10 walk in rate. Talked to owner and he said since it was already rang up, couldn’t issue a refund. (Really…?) Said walk in rate is corporate’s policy. I called KOA and they said it’s up to each independently owned KOA.

Thank you for recognizing our clean facilities and great staff. As stated on the phone, it was a $5 walk-in fee. Just as most other campgrounds including KOA's and hotels as well do walk-in rates, we do too.

Convenient to I80. Pool was nice, laundry was nice. Friendly and responsive hosts. Clean sites. Didn’t use the playground, but saw families taking advantage.

The lady at the desk was super helpful and friendly, but the guy who came up to take me to my campsite hardly had a word to say and didn’t come across as very friendly. Maybe he was having a bad day IDK.

The only thing I can say negatively, is the fact that the hook ups for the trailer are so far back, that you can’t pull your trailer over to the patio area close enough. There could also be a little more grassy area instead of so much gravel.

We stayed for an over night on our cross country travels and appreciated the quiet location just a bit back from the freeway. Excellent service, friendly hosts.

We were really impressed with this campground. Check in was quick and easy. The lady at the office was very pleasant and friendly. A young gentleman lead us to our site. The campground is very well maintained and the landscaping is immaculate. The antique wagons and farm implements are an added bonus to the landscaping. Our site was level and water, electric and sewer connections were very conveniently located. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to any friends and family who would be passing through the area.

Bathrooms clean and shower great. Quiet. Dog Park very nice. Has laundry facility well maintained. Resturants and grocery stores close by. It is a campground.
