Exceptionally clean and well cared for. The pool being out of commission was disappointing, especially as I was trying to stay at a place with a pool.

The only complaint I have is that we arrived 10 minutes early and we were not allowed to check in until 1:00. The camp host opened the office door and told us we would have to wait until 1:00 to check in. We sat outside in the heat and 10 minutes later at 1:00 the camp host opened the door for check in.

Thank you for your feedback. Our website and confirmation emails do state our 5 PM closing time and that we have no pool on site. We maintain these hours due to being short-staffed and apologize that you missed out on ice cream after dinner. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

Nice and clean park. Workers were extremely kind. Dog park was clean and easy access. Would like to have had a bench to sit while the pup did his sniffing :-)

The bathhouse and laundry room were not air conditioned, and we weren't made aware of that before booking. In 100+ degree heat, this, along with a nonfunctioning pool, was significant for us. The staff was very nice and the facilities were clean, but the heat made the facilities almost unusable. Cannot recommend during the summer months, especially with so many spots without any shade. Too hot!

Matt, the owner and Arizona native like me, was very helpful from the beginning to end of my stay. It was quiet, pleasant and relaxed. Everything was clean and tidy.

We had a nice camping spot. Night time registration/check-in was very organized, which we appreciated. The google map link took us directly to the correct KOA. The bathroom (at least the women's) was very clean. I loved the showers because they had lots of hooks and a small bench. I loved the shower head.

I hate when companies try to rig the system by asking customers to give them five stars when really that’s not right! It’s just barely 4 stars and that’s because the people are so nice that are working there. I would highly recommend the management go visit the Miles KOA to see a five star KOA. My wife really believes that $67 a night is too much for this campground.

Owners get 5 stars. Bathroom gets 5 stars. Laundry gets 4 stars (hot inside) (all equipment worked, got my laundry done). Access to Lake McCaungty gets 5 stars (swam for 2 hours during 100 degree heat cycle). Campground needs more trees, I’m confident owners will find solutions over time. I had one tree but my 5th wheel baked in summer heat wave.

Away from the interstate far enough to being a very quiet campground. Clean restrooms and camp sites. It had available amenities that we did not take advantage of. We would definitely return when in the area.

Most KOAs are not good deals good deals for the money. They are over priced and the sites are not very level. Very little amenities. Bakersfield KOA shut down their restaurant. Making them less than a couple of RV parks in Bakersfield.

The managers gave very good instructions how to find the campground. The sites were very flat and easy to pull in. I thought this was just the cutest KOA we've ever stayed in. It was just one night but everything was perfect. Bathrooms and showers were very nice as well.

Nice campground trees for shade, grassy areas, staff is friendly and helpful. Only down side is wish the store was open later in the day.

Wonderful campground! We will definitely stay here again! Easy and convenient check-in, clean restrooms and showers. Hot water is always available, and the restrooms and showers are open 24/7. Electricity and water hookups are also available at the campsite. We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend! The only downside we noticed was the lack of a coin change machine. The washers and dryers only accept quarters, and not everyone travels with coins. So, if you're planning to stay here and use the laundry facilities, make sure to bring some quarters with you! We would also like to suggest that the campground owners install a bill-to-coin change machine. It would make things much easier for guests and make an already great campground even better:)

We liked the escort to our site. It was a nice, level gravel site with a KOA stamped concrete patio and nice table, chairs, a gas grill that we thoroughly enjoyed. They also have PawPet fenced options for some. We only stayed one night, and appreciated not digging out our gas grill. We did laundry right away and found the laundry room very clean and mostly in good shape.The washers are in excellent shape, water temp.was good. One dryer by the door has been abused by customers-it had a hole-y lint collector and didn't seem to dry well. That one and the dryer near by both got very hot on perm press setting, but we were able to check it out and change the setting. It would be great to know how long the dryers run on a cycle. The cost was very reasonable -$2 wash, $2 dry.

Not the most scenic koa out there but it's got all the necessary amenities and a very friendly staff. I had a tent site here not long ago and me and the pups were very happy with it. Also, if you buy firewood there, they'll bring it straight to your site which is nice.
