Derp.in woods. Long drive if need to go into town. Worst part of this park is infested with hundreds of gophers, huge dirt burrows 4" across. Grass area across from rv so infested could not walk dogs. Trash containers had gophers inside. Nice park/staff but GROSS.

The experience was not like our other experiences. We got a phone call from Loraine with bad attitude. We were told about riding our ATVs fast while going 5mph & the kids needing a drivers license. Other times we’ve camped here there’s been kids under 5years old driving alone & they were not told anything. They also have posted not to swim at in pond yet they seen kids swimming & told them not

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You were asked to sign a release for ATV's and it states NO unlicensed drivers, Infomed rules had changed this year. You had a six yr old riding who almost flipped. Were spoken to multiple times about 5mph speed limit., riding on grass areas. WE DO NOT HAVE posted to not swim, but not from dock

It was great except for we were not able to use the water for anything other than taking a shower would be nice to get a 10.00 money back due to the inconvenience.

Nice campground. Lost water for an entire day with no communication until it was back on around 9:30pm. I would rate our stay at a 4 or 5 if not for the water issue.

Reasonably nice property. Our site was considered a pull-thru but was really just a hoop up and over a mound. It was a bit off the main road (4-5 miles).

Our tent broke Friday night and thankfully they had a cabin available for us. I have 3 kiddos under 3 so this was a literal lifesaver. Camp was nice and clean & very quiet. My kiddos had a blast!!

This is the fourth time we stayed here and this year there were tons of activities for the kids to keep them busy over the holiday weekend. More so than previous years. Shout out to Ellie and Lori for another wonderful experience at this campground, they are so nice. There were some plumbing issues and the dump backed up, but we are chalking that up to the crazy busy weekend. We will be back

I was pretty disappointed that the water system was not functioning. They have such nice shower houses and not to be able to use them was a bummer! I felt real bad for the tenters. They definitely need more staff. Lori was stretched pretty thin. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Water pressure was not good first day. Sewer was backed up at the dump and the water didn't work to rinse out hose. Alot of music the first night didn't stop until 6am.

1st time there for me. My campsite was great, staff did a great job accommodating my request to be close to my friends. The only reason for the 9/10 and 4/5 was dump station was unavailable due to it being full. It was a busy weekend with alot of campers. Not a deal breaker for me in the future just a mild inconvenience at the time. I will definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and awesome. The grounds were clean and really nice. We loved that it was in the woods. The only part we had an issue with was one day at 5:30am, someone outside the campground was playing music loud enough y to o wake us. And it happened again at about 2:30am

Visited for 6 nights. Booked with super nice gal Debbie!! A total gem! Walked around the beautiful lake and around the campground, used the pool and hot tub and did a bit of sightseeing. The campground was very well maintained. Bathrooms were spotless. If we end up coming back in this direction again we would stay in a heartbeat!!

I wrote we wanted to be as close to a site our friends had. In my many attempts to reserve, I mistakenly chose a patio site & ended up far away from our group. KOA should've called to clear this up, knowing we weren't part of our group. Disappointing! The online booking needs to be improved. Someone should have called and asked if wanted near our group or a patio site?

Very helpful staff and well kept facilities. I've seen some rough KOA's; however, this one has always been exceptional and is one of our favorites.

It was a wonderful Mothers Day weekend! The campground was in tip top shape! It was clean and very welcoming. The staff was great as always. Thank you Mark and Lori and Nicole and the new girls for making us feel so welcomed and loved! We will be back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are on the older side but are cleaned very well and taken care of. There is a spa and outside pool. Tons of areas to ride bikes and go for a hike around the little lake. We will definitely be back.

Our site was unlevel from back to front. We moved our camper around to try and get it the most level but it was the entire site. They did not offer cable or free wi-fi. All of the KOAs we have stayed at offer one or the other, if not both. We also experienced a lot of bugs flying around us when we were hooking up our utilities. Also when I put my trash in the dumpster, a gopher ran out.

It was disappointing that there was no WiFi or cable tv and no reception for antenna tv. I was also disappointed that the laundromat was out of service. I understand and was reminded that this is someone else’s fault but I’d have stayed somewhere else had I known. Also the dump station did not have a spigot so I could hook a hose up to my black tank flush connector.

Great location off any of the main roads but only a little way from Newport. Very well kept location with a lot for kids and adults to do. We were there in late May and it was quiet and a lot of space between other RVs, but it looks like it could be cramped during peak travel seasons. That said, if you are traveling with kids this would probably be a great stop.

Beautiful, expansive place. The lake is lovely, lots of bike riding places, nice treed lots, great frisbee golf course. I'm sure it's very busy in summer, but we loved how peaceful and quiet it was this first weekend of Oct! Lori at the gate is a wonderful, warm and friendly person with great local knowledge!!

Lori was super helpful getting us a patio sight. The only thing I wished we would have done is asked if there was other patio sights available. This is not a bad reflection on her what so ever. We should have asked! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautiful walks on the many trails and peaceful nights by the fire pit looking at the stars! We will be back year after year :-)

Would have liked a site further out, but our site was ok. The RV dump was overflowing as well, but staff was friendly, the park is beautiful and they were closing down for the season the next day, so we understood.

Were sorry we didn't meet your expectations. The dump was not full, but someone put something down they shouldn't' have. Were glad we have two dump sites so you could still dump.

Nice campground with a pool, jacuzzi, stocked lake, and hiking trails. The only downsides are small bathrooms, no sewer hookup and there was only 1 person working the front desk. Most other koas require you to come into the store to check in but this one has a separate booth to check in which would be fine except there's only 1 person working and the camp store is closed. It seems like it would be much simpler to handle things like most other koas.

Had an amazing time over Memorial weekend. Staff is friendly and helpful. Grounds are clean and welcoming.
