This is a small yet intimate campground. We've been twice and would go more often, but it's a long drive for us. We live near Los Angeles. This stary we spoke with many campers and realized this was the hot spot for campers from the Sacramento area, escaping the heat. I was surprised to hear how often many stay there during the season. The sites are a little tight, but held our 40' DP and truck.

Small but very clean and friendly. Although it is 'express' with fairly tightly laid out accomodations, it is very well-kept, quiet, and perfect for those interested in exploring sites along the Monterey Bay.

We were here last year and enjoyed our stay. We came this year for 6 days and it was amazing. This KOA is great, close to so many different places to go, Monterey, Santa Cruz , Big Sur. But what we love is how friendly and knowledgeable the staff are. This KOA is clean & very quiet.The beach is within walking distance. We are coming back in October for 12 days and are looking forward to our stay.

The staff were all so friendly and very welcoming. They always made sure to take the time to address any concerns I had and worked with me on scheduling when I needed help there too. The cookies at check-in were a very nice touch and I will absolutely return at my first opportunity!

Such a friendly welcome at registration - we got fresh baked cookies! Park is small but very quiet except for the barking sea lions in the harbor next door. Easy to maneuver our Class A and the site was level. Well maintained landscaping and dog area. Easy drive to Monterey. I would definitely stay here again

The weather was not the best until the last day of our stay There were very few restaurants near hear we had to drive a lot to Monterey to go out to eat Did enjoy Elkhorn Slew Will come back again

The showers sucked and there was never anything mentioned on the website about peacocks that scream late after dark and start extremely early in the morning! At well over $100 for a parking spot, it's not worth the money.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hi Lin, unfortunately it appears you have given this bad review to the wrong campground, as the price you paid here at the Moss Landing KOA was less than $100, and there are no peacocks here. Most of the noise is from sea lions in the harbor next door. We hope your trip improves!

The staff in the office/camp store were extremely helpful and the campground was clean and well maintained. The location was great for taking advantage of Elkhorn Slough boat tours and whale watching.

WONDERFUL as always. LOVE the Moss Landing KOA and love the area and LOVE Liz, Ben, Jennifer and Scott. So friendly! We forgot a beach chair this time and ordered one on Amazon and Scott brought it to us as soon as it arrived! Cannot say enough good about this place and the people running it. And the new picnic bench LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

This was our first stay at a KOA and we had a great time. The park was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was amazing with so much to do nearby. We will definitely be back.

Your “helper” staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Will never be back and will tell every coworker, friend and family member to stay clear of your RV “park”

The staff and grounds were impeccable! My only complaint would be the traffic coming and going in the parking lot next door for whale watching. Enjoyed the the beach access it was a lovely experience thank you very much

This is our second stay at Moss Landing KOA, and we can not to return! This is a small park, but it is beautiful and well kept. It sits right next to Moss Landing harbor, and the noisiest neighbors are the sea lions on the dock.Everything about this park is well kept. The bathrooms are beautifully clean, the sites are immaculate. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

we got there a little early and Liz checked us in. She was very sweet and made me very comfortable. This was our first time out with our new rig and Ben assisted us in backing into our spot. He was great also. We were having difficulty with the tv reception and Scott came and corrected our problem. He was awesome? The sites and the bathrooms are clean and well kept.

This is a small RV park with clean bathrooms, showers and a laundry room. There are a couple of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within.walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we always enjoy our time here.

Solid spot to overnight in the RV. Staff were very helpful and communications about our reserved space was excellent. We're used to dispersed camping in the RV so the fee was steep for us, but a hot shower and access to laundry was welcomed. Will definitely consider on a future trip to the coast.
