Our stay at Monument Valley KOA was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing directions, maps and food recommendations all while getting us checked in. The camp sites were spacious and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom and shower facilities.

I was in a tent and the wind blew it away. The staff was very helpful in helping me out. They were also great about arranging tours of monument valley. Very helpful overall . Thanks!

Positive note, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and up to date. Negative, it’s eventually a dirt and gravel lot with hook-ups. The office is not always open during the posted business hours. I waited for over half hour to try and buy ice and the attendant never showed back up. The pet area was just a fenced dirt area. Most dogs need a grassy area to go on.

We tented at the Monument Valley KOA on March 19th, 2024. It was a little cool that night, but we expected that. The campground is very well kept, & the restrooms were like brand new! The views from the campground are stunning, with Monuments in all directions. Sunset & sunset were also spectacular! Unfortunately, the clouds moved in for the evening, so stars weren't the best.

Beautiful new campsite very close to the entrance to Monument Valley. Clean showers and restrooms. Very friendly campsite owners. We enjoyed staying very much!

Worst koa setup I’ve ever been to. All night long the tent campers were getting blasted by headlights from the highway, why would campground coordinator rig up something like that. Will be getting in touch with corporate.

Nice restrooms BUT no hot water in men’s HC shower. Restroom exhaust fans not working so the rooms STINK. No handicap grab bars in HC toilet stall. No handicap ramp to restrooms and office.

Great restrooms, showers, laundry and administration. No shadow and small site for the tents. Still, it is absolutely recommended to stay.

The internet didn't work, the tent sites were poorly situated between the highway and the RVs with no attempt to at a more quiet or more private space for those in tents. Bathrooms were clean, though. It felt like a "camping" on a service road. We took showers and left to pay for a "real" campsite elsewhere. Maybe fine for big RVs with their own internet access but tenters beware.

I took my mother to monument valley, it was her first time..the Koa in monument valley was super accommodating, the camp host and staff were extremely nice and informative.. and funny...not to mention beautifully maintained campsite, super clean bathrooms, and the views are..wow

Nice campground and nice staff. Location is key if you want to go to monument valley. I suggest you take a the sunset tour since the lighting on the valley is a sight to see. Tour company picks you up and drops you off at the KOA. Very convenient.

This KOA campground was clean and quiet (except for road noise). The bathrooms were clean and tidy. It was easy to find. Overall, a great experience.

The sunset and sunrise are beautiful from here on a clear day! The staff was extremely friendly and kind and the bathrooms were impeccable!

We went at 7:00 pm to get ice cream and off was closed. It was yo close at 8:00 pm. We didn’t have electricity. We paid for it. The electric outlet was not working.

Wonderful park with clean bathrooms and showers. The girl that checked us in was VERY friendly and helpful! And we had the best view of a spectacular sunrise! Excellent stay!! Thank you!

We had to deal with cold showers, it was hot so not a deal breaker. The couple running the place were really nice and helpful. First night quite as a mouse, second night exactly opposite. 2 minuets away from Monument Valley!

Great people running this campground. This was our first KOA stay, but have been avid campers for years. Starting to wonder why that was. We’ll definitely be booking again!

We stayed in a tent and would have liked some shade but there wasn’t any. The highway was very loud too so I wouldn’t recommend the place for tent campers. But the facilities were good and the staff very friendly. And the view is awesome! �

Bathroom and amenities were great. The RV spots looked great. The tent spots were pretty nice but the was no shade and it was very very windy. We were not able to put up our sun shade due to the wind which seems to be a regular occurrence there. Once we put the tent up there was sand blowing into the tent under the rain fly which made it feel like it was raining sand in the tent. Not for tents.

We camped in a tent. Great views and sunset. Washrooms are clean. Front desk staff were friendly. The traffic, alot of trucks, made it challenging to sleep, so for this reason we would not stay here again.

Overnight stay at a tent site. Breezy when trying to set up. Staff helpful and friendly. Shower house clean. Quiet hours were not enforced. Lovely place to visit. Views are spectacular �

Well, I was disappointed that the office closed by 8 P.M., before dark. The KOA office in Flagstaff was open until 10.

APRIL2024: Staying here was an smooth and pleasant experience. The KOA is kept clean. It features clean bathrooms, gated dog park w/ doggy bags, laundry, RV sites (power, water,dump,trash), tent sites, children playground. They offer horse rides through the valley at a very fair price. Ask about it when you book your stay. My family discovered that they offer jeep rentals as well. Not sure what the price is, but you can use them to drive yourself through the dirt roads in the valley. This KOA is right off the highway. The only downside is that they don't offer many items in the KOA store. So before you arrive to the koa, make sure to go to the store down the road first if you're in need of items. Thanks for such a great stay.

Fantastic views right out the front door. Very clean and super helpful friendly staff. Great playground and enclosed dog park. Will definitely be back!!
