The KOA is very conveniently located, and newer. So restrooms and showers were great. They had some electrical and water issues at the site we had, but we didnt need either fully. So we were able to adapt for the night. Pricing was biggest draw back. Nearly double what we paid at others on our 2 week trip. And being new, tress were still young and provided minimal shade.

The facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. The location offered easy access to various points of interest. The staff member was congenial, helpful, supplied information and had a welcoming smile.

Clean and great showers. But for tents it worked. Would recommend a fence along roadway to cut down noise. The wind that night destroyed our neighbors tent

The location was great. Bathrooms and laundry facilities were wonderful. We camped in a tent. The tents were placed right beside the highway with no sound barriers. Road noise was terrible. Also, there were no wind barriers for tents either. The winds gusted up to 40 mph at night. Our tent was blown every direction. It would not take much to improve the KOA significantly to make it better.

Very clean and quiet. Host was very nice. It is in the desert so don’t expect shade trees and vegetation.

Not well suited for tents -- nothing to tie them down to. Our tent and two others were damaged in a windstorm as a result. This can't be a one-time thing, so why couldn't the owner put up a fence along the tenting area, so tenters can tie them down?

Bathrooms were clean, site had a beautiful view. However, electricity was off on our site outlets and we had to carry stuff up to the main outlet between sites to use. If we hadn’t checked in after hours I’m sure it was something easily fixable, but inconvenient for our late night stay. We did very much enjoyed the view from our site waking up in the morning though!

Everything was great from the horse ride to the site layout, except for the noise. Our back in site was really close to the highway and it seemed the drivers purposefully drove on the soundboard divider lines all night.

Nice campground and staff. Bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious! We saw a group of folks coming back from a trail ride as we pulled in, which added to the spirit of the location.

Windy, sparse, and the tent site was so sad. We ended up getting a hotel room at Gouldings. The only good thing about this KOA is the bathroom.

Fantastic views of Monument Valley right from the camp! Friendly and helpful staff; clean restrooms; we will definitely stay here again if in the area. Also, the Kamp manager recommended a great place to eat (Gould’s Trading Post).

I didn’t realize that Koa campgrounds do NOT provide hot water in their bathrooms! WTH? Three different KOAs and all the same. Won’t be staying in a KOA again unless I am desperate. We also stayed at two other independents campgrounds and they all had hot water in their bathrooms.

Campground was very small, and campsites were very small. One of the tent sites is literally right next to the bathroom. The campground is fairly noisy because it is right next to the interstate. It was convenient for visiting monument valley, and it was clean with nice bathrooms. There was no sink for campers to wash dishes though.

Great location, the place was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. The only thumbs-down was the lack of hot water for the showers. I enjoyed my time there.

Beautiful area, loved the view! The reason for only a 4 star is when I used the shower, there was only enough luke warm water to wash my hair then the water went cold! Had to finish my shower in COLD water! This was around 4:00pm, before the crowd came in!

Schöner kleiner Campgrounds, sensationelle Lage, sehr saubere sanitäre Anlagen. Äußerst freundliches Servicepersonal im Office. Touren buchbar mit Abholung direkt am Campground. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We didn’t have reservations and had trouble getting them on the phone. We decided to pull in and check with them before going somewhere else and we got a great site! They accommodated to our needs! Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Playground was nice and laundry services were very nice even though we didn’t need them on this stay. Great campground with a beautiful view of the monument valle

Great experience at the KOA Campground in Monument Valley. Clean bathrooms, full hookups, and a great location. They also have Jeeps available to rent for off-road tours through Monument Valley, plus horseback riding experiences right at the campground. The staff at check-in and in the store were very helpful and friendly.
